- In this video, we’ll provide an overview of the Royal Naval Dockyard, which is where our ship -- the Celebrity Summit -- docked for three days in August of 2019.
The Royal Naval Dockyard is located at the Western end of Bermuda and is sometimes referred to as Kings Wharf or Heritage Wharf. The dockyard is home to restaurants, shopping, attractions, the Clocktower Mall, and many transportation options for exploring Bermuda on your own.

I went to Bermuda a couple of years ago n love it. Will go back in the next couple of years those r mine plans. When we there I couldn't believe how cool it was I was thinking it was going to be hot. Enjoyed it so much.
It is usually hot there in late May,June,July,August,and September. Ive been there 4 times

@@TheJellyBeans I was 18 and this was a high school trip with a friend. I believe there is still a KFC in Hamilton. We took a ferry from our hotel to Hamilton. Such wonderful memories. I will be visiting again by cruise ship in April. I don't believe Bermuda has changed much since 1975. I will soon see.
I have been to the Bone fish bar before a few years and I have to say that the food is amazing I totally recommend going there :)

a tip for the boat is bring a walkie talkie to talk to youre group and family so you dont have to use get charge roaming fees on youre phone
Sadly, the glass blowing store did not survive the pandemic closure. Really loved that place! Such amazing treasures to take home...
I lived there for 9 months and barely escaped being bored to death.

The large transportation sign at the port did list Wheelchair Accessible options that included a "lift or ramp." You might find more information at the Public Transportation Department's website: www.gov.bm/department/public-transportation

Are there taxis available at the Crystal and Fantasy Caves to go back to King’s Wharf?
We haven't been there, but their online map shows a "Taxi Stand" available. Hope this helps!

Absolutely! Be sure to check out our other two videos about Bermuda for great activities on a budget. We had a great time and definitely didn't break the bank!
The miniature golf at the Fun Zone (within walking distance of ship) is relatively inexpensive, or it was before Covid, and it is absolutely beautiful & scenic there. The museum nearby is great. We'd been to Snorkel Beach before it was so expensive, won't go back there on an excursion, which is costly. The shuttle around the port is interesting. You can get free Wi-Fi near the Tourist/ Information building, for one hour. You can park yourself on a park bench in the shade, facing the cruise ship and just relax while using the free wi-fi....Nurse one drink outside at the Bonefish and enjoy the music. To really see all areas of Bermuda inexpensively, get a one-day bus pass and just ride around, getting on and off as you wish with the pass--Bermuda is approximately 22 miles long. If you are on Norwegian, in good weather, they have a free ferry going to St. George's and maybe to Hamilton. My husband rents a pedal bicycle at Oleanders and has seen a bit of Bermuda that way, although you need to be careful bicycling on the main roads. He likes the rail trail. One time, he and I took a bus to Somerset bridge then walked the rail trail back for quite a ways before the trail ended and then we caught the bus back to King's Wharf. Hope you got two or three ideas here that you might put to use.

We are planning a cruise to Bermuda on Royal's Liberty of the Seas, but want to know if that particular ship has glass elevators?

How far is the walk from the ship to the shore?
The walk from where the ships dock to the "start" of the Royal Naval Dockyard takes about 5-10 minutes. Hope this helps!

It's not too bad; roughly 5-10 minute walk, depending on where your ship is docked.
If you walk to the (small) mall, and get very tired or its very hot outside, there's a bus stop outside the far end of the mall,facing the harbor. A free shuttle will take you to or from the ship.
