Some people were sheltered growing up, like my mother for instance... She thought she was dying when she first got her period because her grandmother (who she lived with as a child) never spoke about those things to her... ever. 👎🏾
Dr bronner is sooo amazing. My company gave away dr bronner soaps to their employees during Christmas. Those dumbasses left it and are uninterested with it so i asked them if they can give it to me if they don't want it. 😂😂 ya girl went home with 4 big ass bottles of it hahahahha they didn't know what they've lost!
I’m saying this in all kindness but please TH-camrs get to the freaking point I couldn’t even continue there was too much talking that I just had to stop and give up
Years ago I have to switch my soap because my OBGYN said it was causing all the infections I was getting. Sure enough, I've never had one again. Most soaps are so bad for you but DR. Bronners is awesome!
My 12 yr old daughters pediatrician actually scolded her for using soap on her vag!! I said what!! What do u wash w? She said NOTHING😱 water only.. I don't wanna think about what she smells like down there! Especially for sexually active women or very sporty active girls. I told my daughter that is NOT ok, going thru puberty n stuff...u neeeed soap or sumthing more than water

I looked into buying a Dr. Bronner's bottle and an thinking of getting the 8 oz bottle off the website to try. thank you for pointing me in the right direction 😊🙏
Queen V is the first product I’ve found that didn’t disrupt things down there. Dove unscented even caused problems. I just wish there were products with better ingredients that didn’t mess me up.
I love your talk. A lot of women haven't heard these ideas on hygiene. I had a girl scout troop lead by a woman taught school fifty years. We talked about bras and foundation garments such as girdles and who wears what color panty with white pants. Great job.
The peppermint is great in the summer. You feel cool straight out of the shower. The tea tree is great for my scalp but you must dilute it before putting it on your scalp. I dilute them all before putting them on my skin.
I love Dr. Bronner's soaps, they do work well!! Something no one ever mentions is that they are concentrated soaps most of the time and need to be diluted by mixing with water. Diluting it helps the soap to last and be tolerable. *whispers* Its pronounced cass steal though :) Overall nice informative video.
It's best to use distilled water to dilute the product as opposed to regular tap water which contains impurities as I've seen people use in other videos
Yeeeeesss! I use the peppermint one. Yes it tingles a bit, but the trick is to use a little with the Peppermint version. A little goes a long way. 2-3 drops in the palm of your wet hands, is more than enough for your private area to work up a nice lather, and to cleanse the area thoroughly, keeping you fresh and clean.
I also learned a lot on my own growing up. At 13, I began menstruation & my mom went & bought me sanitary pads, belt, & some new clothes. I had to figure out how to use them on my own. I have sisters 17 yrs & 7 yrs older than me. My oldest helped some, but she was already married a month after I was born. I was sensitive to a lot of soaps, had bladder & kidney & stomach issues from the time I was little. I had acne & didn't know how to treat it except to wear more makeup! My sisters nor my mom had acne so didnt know how to help me. Now I'm 61 & have developed a simple care routine. I used castile soap on my scalp after having basal cell carcinoma surgery. Only thing that didn't burn! My surgeon approved of the castile soap too. Wish I had known it came in liquid form. I found the bars at Walmart. I used shampoo the first time since my surgery & it broke my scalp out terribly! I also use unscented Huggies wipes, unscented panty liners, & carry them with me since I'm older (61), have had hysterectomy due to cancer & am always more mindful now of what I use. I sweat so bad at times I have to change all my clothes! Thanks for sharing your tips!

I've always had sensitive skin and then developed eczema. Yet, I never knew the cause and until recently. I'm allergic to SLS. I went searching for products that don't have that ingredients or ingredients that are similar and I bought somethings but I noticed I was still getting outbreaks. Finally, I bought some Castile soap. My hands are so much better and now I'm going to try the Castile soap and going to try it in the downstairs area and I hope things get cleared up. I had my first yeast infection and talk about torture. Yet, that cleared up but then recently I'm getting more and I'm unable to see my doctor at this time so I'm going to give this a try. Do you use Dr. Bronner's as a shampoo? If not what do you use? Thanks for this video. BTW I plan on getting a gallon size jug of Castile soap through Amazon.
I love the Castile soap, they also make it in lavender scent. I use the peppermint for handwashing only, but all the other scents for the body. Good video.

When I was younger I use to get yeast infections alot and i was like what in the crap one time i went Walmart and lady told me about taking probiotics and every sense started taking them i haven't had one
Hii! It’s recommended to not use any soap down there. I mentioned Castile soap as a non toxic alternative for a body wash but soaps should not go down there. It’s a self cleaning organ & washing with soaps may cause infections & discomfort!
I use crystal deodorant and find that it works really well. I began using Dr Bronners years ago when the peppermint was the only option. It’s good stuff, but too drying for me so I don’t use it on my body. I love Shikai body wash. Thanks for the video.
How come it's impossible to rinse off ph balanced soap? Like Vagisil, Summer's Eve, I could drain out a reservoir and the soap bubbles and slippery feel still stay around.
An important subject. It's pronounced Cas steel, emphasis on the second syllable. This could be edited. For cleaning lady parts, I'd recommend warm water and diluted plain green tea in a squirt bottle. Also plain Honeybush tea diluted with warm water. You can buy Honeybush tea in a health food store. It's a tea people drink. They won't know about this use. Rinse with warm water. You can add a little honey to the Honeybush tea. Both these solutions should be watery, more water than tea. It's not for inside the vagina, just the other parts. Unnecessary douching is best avoided. I believe these things have the right ph balance. Soap is more alkaline. Bodymint is a chlorophyl pill that helps deodorize the whole body from within. Eating a steamed green vegetable every day can take an edge off some people's body odor.
Thank you!! Helped me out a lot but to be sure going to tell my mom to take me to the doctors just to make sure! You made me feel comfortable talking about stuff like this
I get confused when people say "this is only for outside purposes" because I don't know if they are talking about not getting it in the holes and getting it where the hair grows. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THAT MEANS!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this video I had got a really bad yeast infection from a laundry detergent omg it was da worst feeling ever so thanks for dis I’ll be switching my body wash as well
What about queen v? I've been using that but not too sure if it's as bad as Summers Eve! I stopped used Summers Eve and haven't had any problems so far. Shoot I'm 27 going on 28 and I never had that talk with my parents when I was young
I know I’m late, but the dr Bronners products are very good and should be diluted because it is so concentrated. My OBGYN suggested I use the brand and have been using it for years. The peppermint I use during the summer or when I travel to the Caribbean, it is great after a hot day.
It's recommended that no soaps or products goes inside your labia or vag. opening. It's a self cleaning organ so nothing other than water should go near it
You’re soooo gorgeous!! Your channel will grow quickly because you just have that perfect look! You should go into acting or modeling. Btw, I use the same body wash, works great! Yes get these ladies together 💜 think I might do this video also 💕
Ria’s Tutty Talk Your comment was so kind and sweet. Thank you very much for recognizing me and watching my video! Deff do this video, I’m always interested in what other women do for their feminine hygiene routine 😆💗
I used Dove in the past but I didn't like the smell behind it so I switched to Queen V and Walmart stopped selling it I have no problem with it but I'll try the Castile soap and see what happens
I use them all the peppermint kinda tingles using it as she says downstairs lol. I have all of them i would recommend the unscented for downstairs just a little but they all are great go to Dr bronners website to see them. They don't sell them where i live so i got mine from the site. I also never got a yeast infection from using vagisil or regular summers eve so i don't know why it happened to her.
So the heritage store rosewater that u had sitting on the dresser, i have that, and i wanted to know if that was safe to use as a feminine spray? Also is the dr bronners peppermint soap safe for the vag or will it burn?
Hmm, I never thought about that. I’m really not sure. I would research that to be 100%. I never apply the Castile soap directly to my skin, I apply the soap directly onto my loofa, run it under water & thennnn wash. That’s sort of my version of diluting lol. The peppermint one never burned me. I would just patch test to see if it would cause a reaction to your skin.
Run warm water on/in your v area to eliminate odor without using harsh soaps. DOOOOO ITTT!!! I promise it works. You will smell like water. It does not make you "dry"
thank you for the very informative video. I will have have my daughter watch it. I have never used Dr Bronner's but have seen it. I switched to a natural deodorant, have tried about 3 and one of them made me smell like breakfast sausage even though it had floral scent lol. Just a note though, some women might be getting frequent yeast infections from having high blood sugar. If they have diabetes or at high risk of developing diabetes, it might be something to have a dr check out.
I think the dove sensitive soap gave me an internal yeast infection bc I never get an yeast infection. I made the mistake of cleaning my insides with it and now I have a itchy yeast infection
Okay, I know this is a little TMI but .... What do I use is my “ down stairs area “ doesn’t smell the freshest ( my mom wont let me use feminine wash ) ? I could use all the help I could get . Being in middle school is rough and people keep making fun of me for that . I also went to the doctor not that long ago and they said nothing was wrong
Hey girl! At your age its totally normal to go through changes and that includes odor. Just so you know, every female at any age has odor down there and it doesn't always smell the freshest either. Our vaginas were made to clean itself from inside. The only time it will smell super fresh is straight out the shower. Throughout the day it won't be as fresh and thats totally normal. I would suggest taking regular showers and changing your underwear everyday. Take a shower every night, or morning if you prefer that. Also, bring baby wipes/wet wipes with you to school and every time you use the bathroom, wipe from front to back to keep it fresh all the time. You got this! xoxo
Sisterstop I would suggest taking shower every morning. This keeps me smelling fresh the longest. Also, I know your in middle school but maybe trim your area down there. Hair holds moisture and smells. I know it’s not advisable but I spray degree down there, just the top part. I use my had to cover my actual lady parts I also spray some between my breast as well. Hope this helps. Also change your underwear twice a day, before bed and when you wake up.
I’m the same way especially when I sweat just takes baths once or twice a week wash every morning if you have time and just do research and do what you think is best
I used to have a HUGE problem with pH issues. My ob/GYN said I was cleaning too much and using the wrong products, she said to put NOTHING down there, warm water, that’s it. For people with issues of BV and reoccurring vaginitis (including yeast infections) my doctor said, a boric acid vaginal suppository would be the way to go. Don’t go to dollar tree and grab you a extra large bottle of roach killer and roach dust yourself) the suppositories are measured out dosages with medical grade boric acid. I’ve never had any problems after using it- I used it one capsule at night transvaginally (yes inside your vagina) for one week. This treatment solved my issues holistically without having to go on medication. My Ob/GYN said now that I’m good down there- use nothing but water. I use naturals baby wipes (which she said was fine- so long as it doesn’t have a perfume) and I don’t do anything else for cleaning. For thigh creases I use zinc oxide/Diaper cream and never have ANY issues with odor or chaffing. I’m happy this works for some people, but, I’ve learned my lesson the hard way and won’t be putting things down there anymore.
I’ve been wondering about how the Castile soap works on the Vag. I have the mint one ( dark blue bottle ) and it’s sooooo minty I’m afraid to use it on my vag or my butt.
If it leaves you a little dry do you put body cream downstairs ? Edit: I don’t want to sound dumb but my mom has never taught me anything about v hygiene I learn through TH-cam. Is it normal to have white stuff on your underwear? I get discharge I think that’s what it’s called and it stains my underwear and if it has a smell is it okay ?
Alondra It doesn’t necessarily dry up my vaginal area, it mostly dries up my skin on the rest of my body like my legs. Arms, stomach. Never use lotions in your private area because it may cause an infection. It is 100% normal to have clear/white discharge with no odor. If you discharge is clumpy like cottage cheese, you may have an infection. PS: I’m not a doctor or a medical expert of any kind. These are just opinions based on my own research & what has worked for me ☺️
I don’t have a problem down there but I use the summers eve and I don’t feel like it does enough , can I use this or does someone recommend something else ??
sofia24 Castile soap is great however most doctors recommended not using anything scented near your vaginal area at all. It doesn’t matter how natural the scent is most advise against it
I bought a 40 oz bottle of the peppermint at tj maxx recently . Idk why I stopped using it a while ago. My mom used to bathe me in it as a kid and I'm 33 now . There is no clean feeling like a dr bronners clean feeling
I have dr bronners lavender and had no idea what i had it for. So do you wash the lips of the v with this? This product seems as if it would be really harsh on the private parts.
It's best to use on armpits or body but too harsh for vaginal area. I started using Summer's eve in that area and it works so good for me got my ph in balance but too each their own.

Latasha Brice Oh yes, probiotics are great for preventing yeast infections!
Can u plz name..which prebiotic u got?
Yes.... best thing for me
I've been wanting to try Zeroderm Body Wash. Do you know if it's any good?
Whole foods has it for like 13.99 its actually cheaper than. Tagerts in the Bay Area
I was searching up things like this and I came across your video , I knew from the jump I came across the right video
Marshall's and Tjmaxx has them at the cheaper price. I LOVE the peppermint. The peppermint feel like is the strongest to me.
I love your disclaimer in the beginning, it’s crazy you even had to do it tho people are so sensitive 😒
I just got the Dr. Bronners soap, the almond one danm it smells so good!!!
You can get the Dr. Bronners from Walmart or your local Giant Eagle store as well (yes the big bottles😉)
I suffer from the same yeast problem omg I’m not alone thx❤️❤️
I got you ❤️ thanks for watching
You might need vitamins D to help
Is it your diet?
Really liked this video. I've been searching for health hygiene alternatives. You gave some useful tips. Going to check out the EO deodorant spray
Lyndel Paris Thank you very much. I’m so happy I helped ☺️
Just started using Dr. Bronners Baby, but it does get uncomfortable if I use it downstairs. Has anyone else had this issue?
Hii! It’s recommended to not use any soap down there. I mentioned Castile soap as a non toxic alternative for a body wash but soaps should not go down there. It’s a self cleaning organ & washing with soaps may cause infections & discomfort!
You can buy gallons of Castile soap online. I have recently started using it for everything so I know I’m going to get a gallon of this.
I use crystal deodorant and find that it works really well. I began using Dr Bronners years ago when the peppermint was the only option. It’s good stuff, but too drying for me so I don’t use it on my body. I love Shikai body wash. Thanks for the video.
Try diluting it and that will eliminate your skin dryness. I learned the hard way. 😄
You made me feel comfortable talking about stuff like this
I'm happy my video helped, I love that! Thank you for watching :)
Love the fact that you have a Britney Spears perfume in the back! Yaasss
I get confused when people say "this is only for outside purposes" because I don't know if they are talking about not getting it in the holes and getting it where the hair grows. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THAT MEANS!!!!!!!!!
It means don’t put it in your holes ☺️
@@elmina__ Haha thank you
I order mine from whole foods. I love the almond and citrus, lavender scents 🙌🙌
You're eyebrows are AMAZE! You look fabulous in general! 🤩
Awesome tips! I use the same products, however the chlorine free liners are going to be added to my hygiene regimen 💞
This might sound kinda weird, but can u clean the actual v skin w the first soap u showed?
U can use this ON the area. NEVER in.
Paige Spratley thanks lol
I went to cvs and got some unscented female wipes and they’ve been working great for me and I was so happy to find unscented ones!
They have great unscented equate ones that are also flushable at Walmart also!
Yes the castle soap.is great. I buy the bars, that is the only soap I use. Thanks good video
Thank you so much for this video I had got a really bad yeast infection from a laundry detergent omg it was da worst feeling ever so thanks for dis I’ll be switching my body wash as well
No problem girl, xoxo ❤️
What about queen v? I've been using that but not too sure if it's as bad as Summers Eve! I stopped used Summers Eve and haven't had any problems so far. Shoot I'm 27 going on 28 and I never had that talk with my parents when I was young
What blush are you wearing in this video? I love it!
I know I’m late, but the dr Bronners products are very good and should be diluted because it is so concentrated. My OBGYN suggested I use the brand and have been using it for years. The peppermint I use during the summer or when I travel to the Caribbean, it is great after a hot day.
Yes girl the Pacifica deodorant wipes be super cheap at TJ maxx ... I stack up .... at target it be soo expensive
Target $8.99 ... TJ maxx $3.99
Question: you said only use the Dr. Bonners soap around the down stairs area and not inside, so what do you suggest to use on the "inside?"
It's recommended that no soaps or products goes inside your labia or vag. opening. It's a self cleaning organ so nothing other than water should go near it
Hi. What kind of lotion do you use to put moisture back in your skin after washing & is it organic?
Coconut Oil
You’re soooo gorgeous!! Your channel will grow quickly because you just have that perfect look! You should go into acting or modeling. Btw, I use the same body wash, works great! Yes get these ladies together 💜 think I might do this video also 💕
Ria’s Tutty Talk Your comment was so kind and sweet. Thank you very much for recognizing me and watching my video! Deff do this video, I’m always interested in what other women do for their feminine hygiene routine 😆💗
Elmina Mrkulic you’re more than welcome 💕 can I suggest more makeup tutorials
I know I'm late to this video but I've recently just started using the Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap, it is AMAZING! I found it in Target 2 for 20!
I use lemon under my arms as my deodorant. Been doing it a month now, I'm on a transformation journey and my arms never smell funky
Lime does well also
How do you apply it? Dilute it and wash your underarms? Please let me know!💜
@@ayakowilliams4571 I squeeze a little in my hand and rub it under my arms. But if your skin is sensitive u can dilute it
me too. use out side for inner vaginal area, and use juice, for underarms and entire body...
@@theresajoy5862 wat does it do for inner vaginal area
I used Dove in the past but I didn't like the smell behind it so I switched to Queen V and Walmart stopped selling it I have no problem with it but I'll try the Castile soap and see what happens
I use them all the peppermint kinda tingles using it as she says downstairs lol. I have all of them i would recommend the unscented for downstairs just a little but they all are great go to Dr bronners website to see them. They don't sell them where i live so i got mine from the site. I also never got a yeast infection from using vagisil or regular summers eve so i don't know why it happened to her.
I’m more sensitive to artificial fragrance & the ingredients they contain.
Great video! So many girls never had anyone to explain these things.
I appreciate it, thank you very much!
I GET MY DR. BRONNERS ON AMAZON PEOPLE THE LARGE 32 02 NOT EVEN 16 BUCKS!!!👍👍👍
Read Dr bonners label "spaceship earth", crazy!! 👀
The story of the label is actually really interesting. www.lisabronner.com/how-the-label-was-born/ ~Andre'
Yes! Those natural deodorants stank!
Their oh could be off as well.
Meant ph balance is probably off.
I have a Castile soap but it’s not dr bronners is that okay ?
Yes that should be just fine ❤️
I think the dove sensitive soap gave me an internal yeast infection bc I never get an yeast infection. I made the mistake of cleaning my insides with it and now I have a itchy yeast infection
I have been using dove for years maybe i need to try this soap
it'll lather really good and you can dilute it if you want it to last longer.
i love that she will make a make up tutorial.
You got this! xoxo
Thank you so much ! ❤️❤️
Dove body was drink a lot of water spraying is not good
I talked to my three daughters about feminine hygiene. We did research about because some of the questions they had I didn’t know what to say.
This helped me soo much with what I’m going thru similar right now . Thank you for posting!
Yay! Glad I could help
I’m glad you did this video on. Non toxic i came across videos didn’t watch but the photos of the products using im like noooooooooooo.
The Dr.Bronner soap can only be use on the outside not the inside right??
Actually sweating is good its a problem if you don’t sweat normally
I figured this
Schmidt’s deodorant made my armpits hurt and it did not hold up very well. Very informative video and you’re gorgeous 😊
That deodorant made me feel like I put Vaseline all under my armpits 😂 thank you so much. I appreciate your comment ❤️
Ronika Carter same here it burnt my underarms I’ve tried almost every organic all natural deodorant and nothing works
The jett life the irony that non natural products work better
Schmidt's had my armpits sore and raw. Worse deodorant I ever used.
@@angeldanielle92 try lemons or limes you can either rub gently under your arms. Or place before shower and rinse when you wash up. Definitely lemons
I do and love it but dilute it with water. The bar of the peppermint isnt as strong. I use that more than the liquid on my lady parts.
It’s actually great for that area, feels refreshing!!
Do NOT use the mint on ur vag or butt! Trust me
Do not use the mint one on your butt or vagina it will burn for a long time... like putting icy hot down there
If you dilute it, it's fine. All you need is a couple of drops!
Vanicream gentle body wash is the best for the vulva and similar areas.
These are just opinions based on my own research & what has worked for me ☺️
This video help me so well I’m glad I watched this video
I’m confused???? Can in wash my who who or just around it. I mean I know I don’t put it up in there..... but the 👄
Bizzy Occh the soap should go every beside in the hole so yes you can clean your Vag areas besides the hole only water should go up the hole honestly
Amazing video! Thank you so much.
I don’t have a problem down there but I use the summers eve and I don’t feel like it does enough , can I use this or does someone recommend something else ??
sofia24 Castile soap is great however most doctors recommended not using anything scented near your vaginal area at all. It doesn’t matter how natural the scent is most advise against it
is it ever ok to put soap inside the lips? like with unscented soap? or should we NEVER put soap inside?
I am 54 years old, I use Dial Deodorant Soap, never a problem. I will NEVER pay $15 for any kind of soap!!
This is a pure concentrated natural soap. It can last 6 months or more if you're using it correctly. You can wash your hair/hands/body
I have the tea tree one and it burned me badly down there. Got a bad infection
I bought a 40 oz bottle of the peppermint at tj maxx recently . Idk why I stopped using it a while ago. My mom used to bathe me in it as a kid and I'm 33 now . There is no clean feeling like a dr bronners clean feeling
SAME! So glad to have found it.
I have dr bronners lavender and had no idea what i had it for. So do you wash the lips of the v with this? This product seems as if it would be really harsh on the private parts.
It was harsh on mine left me so irritated down there and I used the no scent dr. Bronners
It's best to use on armpits or body but too harsh for vaginal area. I started using Summer's eve in that area and it works so good for me got my ph in balance but too each their own.
@@patricedixon2634 yes, summers eve is good but I recently started using embrace pagnea and that feminine wash is the truth!!! Its a bit pricey but I love it on their website they have alot of natural feminine products
