I love this channel. I’m 31 and I’ve only been in the HD community for a few years now. In that short time I’ve noticed there’s a lot of gate-keeping from the older guys. It’s nice to see you guys really bridging that gap between older and younger. I recently tore my Nightster down to a bobber with plans to hardtail it next winter, all because of you guys and this channel. Keep on keepin’ on, guys! I look forward to watching more.

I'm fortunate (and unfortunate) enough to be a MMI graduate Late and Early model HD graduate... What really stuck with me throughout everything was when we were tearing into a Panhead in early model and a faux tough guy made a comment about Sportsters being a women's bike when the instructor replied: "Hey, as long as you have two wheels and your knees are in the breeze, what you ride doesn't matter" If you feel it deep down in your loins, absolutely go for gold and enjoy the process along the way - Sounds like you are dedicated to the process and will enjoy the fruits of your labor once it's said and done - - And that's something you cannot buy, Ride on brother
Literally never met an old guy gatekeeping. They ALWAYS wanna reminisce and talk about shit. Ive done a few customs for myself and friends but as long as your genuine and not coming off like a poser they will never turn down the opportunity to share some tips and compliment your ride. Mind you I currently live in Philly... City notorious for being filled with dickheads. If an old guy blows you off to shoot shit on building bikes he's either fresh out of a divorce or too drunk to be out in public 😂
Btw I'm not talking about old guys riding 2022 ultra classics. My grandfather has rode for decades but was never a real builder/rider. He judges me on every clapped out bike I show up on to family get togethers. Ya gotta know which guys to approach. The true riders ain't riding nothing fuel injected with pretty paint...

This was your best show thus far I love the 1936 Knucklehead by far my most favorite bike if I had the money I would buy one I wouldn’t care how much they charged me ....and my other favorite is the XR 750 race bike

Anybody i meet whose in a club or thinks theyre cool (and i see theyre bike is fuel injected) i just shut up and let them finish talking and politely exit the convo. No builder or collector gives a fuck about a 2018 street bob with a screaming eagle tune 😂

Bill is a fantastic guy. His H-D knowledge is unmatched. I was lucky enough to spend some time with him at Born Free a few years ago. Great episode!
