      Yes, more workouts and coaching practice plans. Training is very overlooked early in and needs to be done in a very graduated way. Kids very early on in baseball don’t appreciate movement and strength often especially in community leagues. Need more awareness and intelligent practice and workout designs that are group specific and easily executed at a practice. Kids stand around too much when not coached properly in baseball and it’s sad.

      Just wonderful, I've been looking for "good baseball drills for kids" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Penonnor Baseball Babaco - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got cool success with it.

      I'd definitely recommend picking up a pair of bands! You can do rotator cuff exercises, plyometrics, scap exercises, med ball exercises, and possibly even throw at home!

    What are your thoughts on weighted balls for increased velocity ? Also I love the videos! Keep up the good work!

      I think weighted balls CAN be great, but it depends on the player and their age, level of experience, etc. I believe most players can unlock velocity in other ways first before using weighted balls. It's important to have sound mechanics, a solid workout plan, a great nutrition plan, etc. before you even consider using weighted balls. I'd start with hitting the weight room harder, dialing in nutrition and using J-bands consistently. Those things alone will help you improve your velocity.

Would you have any drills that I could do to get an extra 5 to 10 MPH off of my fastball and some drills to improve fielding? Note I have a hitting cage,weights and bands

      Look at the recent transformation of Kyle Schwarber. Absolutely you can play and make this happen! I would start learning more about proper nutrition. Dial in your eating habits. Then begin getting on a consistent exercise routine including cardio

      being overweight in baseball is not a problem just work on your speed and foot work. if you run too much then you lose muscle aswell as fat which is not good. just eat healthy, stretch, and do sprints, and you wont even relise youve leaned out and gotten way faster

    I guess I got the body of a baseball player. Who knew? Everyone was always calling me a basketball player, but I never liked playing it personally. At 38, it would seem I got to do these exercises so my back doesn't go out again. Thank you for the fine pointers. 😊
