Maidana may have not been a purely technical boxer, but no way in hell was he a "C" class fighter when he fought Mayweather. Mosley was still making a lot of noise when he fought Floyd (which btw was his second fight after a 2 year lay-off), yet here we're praising McGregor for fighting a 40 year old man after a 2 year lay off. No one forced Pacquiao to fight at 147, as a matter of fact, Floyd's on record pointing out that same excuse you're trying to use (Pacquiao being the smaller man) in this argument. As for the Berto fight, Floyd is not the first or last to pick a relatively easy opponent for a retirement fight (key word "retirement"). I still do not see a list of the names Floyd ducked.

I may not like Floyd for a lot of reasons, but make no mistake about it, Floyd WILL KNOCK OUT Connor McGregor. Conor is going to rely on trying to hit the lotto with one big shot, but while he's waiting for that to happen, Floyd will be softening him up with quick, steady, accurate crisp punching, the likes of which Conor has never see nor experienced. He'll drain him by the 3rd or 4th round, and just toy with a fighter will be that point be clearly the beaten fighter, and after humiliating him further by running a boxing clinic, he'll turn off the lights on Conor via KO by 5, 6, or 7. Round 8 at the latest. Some may say it's been a while since Floyd has knocked anyone out, but that's against Pro Boxers. He'll get Conor out via KO. Floyd's had more pro WINS by KO, then Conor has had professional fights. If an MMA fighter like Nate, whom I like, (but is clearly a slow subpar boxer) can connect on Conor and give him problems, folks, don't be fooled by ignoring the obvious. Floyd will break him (mentally first, physically second), then punish him until he's good and ready to call it a night. But look at the bright, Conor will make the most money he's ever made in a single fight and that would never happen in the UFC. Dana & company are too greedy to let that happen.
