- After a summer of sailing, we share our big adventure in Spirit, venturing over to the far side of the Exe and discovering Lympstone. Along the way, we have a cup of tea from the thermos, get becalmed and descend into semi madness.
Thank you gentlemen for a a very skilled series. I have enjoyed your trip from the drafting to the sailing. I sincerely hope you have 100's of hours mucking around in your beautiful craft
All the very best Andy
Thanks! The final episode is out now.
It is so encouraged! Thank you, blokes!
A great achievement - she looks as though she has been there for many years already. Well done and thanks again for sharing the journey.
Well done chaps. What is next? Something from the drawing board of Alan Buchannan, Maurice Griffiths or Harrison Butler maybe? Can’t wait to see…
Just like being there with you. So relaxing. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this journey (and little voyage) with us. I'll be green with envy for many months to come, but seeing the two of you create a thing of exquisite beauty in Spirit was a wonderful experience. I am looking forward to seeing what you get up to next!
Lovely series, lovely boat - thank you for taking the time to share with us
My moment of TH-cam Zen and much appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the series and very much looking forward to your next adventure. Thank you so much gentlemen for taking us along..
Oh, great, I already missed you! Keep them coming-those adventures in building and sailing. Could I propose a new challenge: Exton? Or even an ocean crossing to Sandy Bay?
Wohoo! Nice! A good thing with a sail/row vessel is that you just think of rowing and all of a sudden it´s not as boring with weak winds! 😁. But, I dont have the tide issue here. No risk to end up in France while eating hobnobs in no wind. Keep up the good work!
What, no pint in Lympstone? Sheesh.....
You know, it was only this morning that you guys crossed my mind.... "Isn't it about time we had an update?....". Good timing.
Wonderful and inspiring! I hope you have many happy hours sailing her!
I just returned from the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival, which I followed with my first three-day sail and oar trip in my new to me dory. What fun to find another beautiful video from you. Thanks again for sharing your journey and artistry. I look forward to seeing what you create in the future for further inspiration in my own endeavors.
Lovely. Thank you.
Thankyou for sharing the journey , its been really informative . I noticed the lack of bilge water, a really tight build chaps, well done. I wish you many years safe sailing in her, and a few more videos at sea perhaps?
Great job! Lovely boat, and great sailing.
Lovely day of sailing with you two!
Spirit looks like such a fun little boat. I'm rebuilding a big 30' blue water wooden boat, but I do want to build a little 10-14' traditional sailing dinghy to play around the shallow waters and estuaries of Cape Cod Bay on.
Thank you for sharing your journey, looking forward to seeing what happens next!
You are my favorite youtube channel. With all due respect I hope I'm like you guys at your age, in a not so distant future.
Wonderful. Thanks.
This has been such a great series in so many ways - thank you for sharing your journey and providing such an enjoyable set of videos which have been informative and entertaining. I look forward to your next enterprise with eager anticipation. In the meantime I have enrolled on a short course at BBA!!
Ah, lovely! Maybe it's time to yield to the current and sail to France...
Please go on ! 👍🏻👋🏻🇾🇪
Superb. Thanks.
OK, YOU LIVE IN THE US, WHERE THERE ARE PLENTY OF BOATS AROUND TO RESCUE YOU, WHEN CAPSIZED. HERE IN BRAZIL, WE NEED LOTS OF FOAM INSIDE, IN ORDER TO RIGHT THE BOAT AND SAVE OUR LIFE, ON COMPLETELY DESERTED WATERS.😮 SMOOTH SAILING 😊
Magnifique, Merci !!
She really is lovely. I am gearing up for my own build
Deliightful!
As a viewer, I was glad to see you blokes messin' about in your beautiful boat. Thanks for the ride. Cheers
Beautiful, just beautiful. Enough said.
Can’t help but note that there are TWO of you and only ONE boat………..if you build it I will watch it!!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Beautifully built and filmed. Thankyou.
Superb!
Sweet!!
Spirit rows and sails so well! Congratulations to you both, lovely commentary as always!
Simply messing around in boats; you can't beat it. Thanks for taking us along for the journey. Looking forward to your video about dinghy sailing in the Faroe Islands.
So good to see you back again. Can't wait for the next series. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable journey.
good one -)
Delightful series! Lovely boat! (Viewing from Philadelphia, USA)
I look forward to more of these very enjoyable video's. Either more boat building or more sailing adventures, I don't mind which!
Beautiful. Well done to the Two Blokes.
❤
👍
Are those bags in the bow and under the thwart water ballast? I have a Penobscot 14 that is very tender and as a newbie sailor I'd love to have a little more forgiveness.
Jon, I think you need a bigger workplace.
