The reason so many guys get buried in WWE is because there’s too many guys on the rosters. That why AEW doesn’t have a lot of guys. That way everyone can get their equal push.
Pretty sure AEW almost has 100 Wrestlers... for a once a week, 2 hour show that's a lot of people. It looks like they have less because you always see the same 10 people being pushed, but they have over 90.
Christ, can the interviewer shut up and let Ricardo talk? Go watch any interview from Inside the Ropes. They're phenomenal because the interviewers understand that their guest is the star of the show.
I think that... basically wwe and not only want and need company guys to comply with whatever weird direction they throw at them no matter how odd and weird. So basically if these guys stand up they disrupt a project. That is why jobbers and comedy characters are kept dear and perceived top tier players are eventually fired sooner than you expected

@@paullevine2834 Roman Reigns earned his spot since 2017 at least, especially now as a heel. Drew as a new star has been great. It's not as bad as before where it was Super Cena.
Almost thought this was recent.
Everyone always hates it when the spotlight is not on them anymore
This interview is more relevant than ever after last year and this year. I use to want to work for WWE. Not anymore. Why too toxic.
you were never getting in there anyways
Man I would be the most hated guy in this company because I demand respect. Hahaha
You’d be gone in a couple of hours
More than likely
fax bruh im to hard headed to be treated like shit 😂😂 “independent contractor my ass mf”
You could demand it all you wanted in the unemployment line. Prolly wouldn't get it there either tho
Hahah and Wwe fans boyz taking about “it will get a lot better once triple H takes over”
kingofkings69ner can you just fuck off and we’ll call it even.
@kingofkings69ner Only one in here who seems to be offended in here is you. Not Tim. Why else you would act like total ahole and be all offensive.
Absolutely i dont fall for that Triple H Bullshit
WWE just profits off what was known as the greatest era in wrestling and thats the Attitude Era, everything after 2007 was utter shit, CM Punk was cool though
@kingofkings69ner He is partially to blame but then again it was good to prevent headshots but still the creative shit they used is just utter shit, theres no tension, no real build up just dull and boring
Im watching AEW these days and that stuff is quite enticing
@kingofkings69ner Im glad you use the network but i cant sit watching old wrestling even though it was class at the time, its hard to find what you wanna watch on the network, you gotta watch the whole shows and go forward or back to get where you wanna watch, porefer youtube to watch classic Stone Colds and Kurt Angles
All Elite Wrestling is my thing now! You should check out AEW Dark, Brian Pillman is something else!
It use to trip me out when alberto use to come out with a different car every entrance.
This explains why. Shamus when he got called up he became wwe champion
Vince is paradoxical when it comes to the foreign guys. Don't know English or have a thick accent? Bury him. Know perfect English? Make them speak with a fake accent, then bury them.
I met Ricardo in like...2018 at some comic con in Wisconsin. He's cool as fuck, and as a side note, for being only 200 lbs, that dude is STOCKY as fuck for 200. You'd think he'd pass for being a heavyweight
Now I see why so many WWE dudes going to AEW.. WWE is like a freaking boot Camp. you can’t do anything just about
That’s why Aew sucks
@@badmartian320 Let the world tell it, everything sucks.
This is a cutthroat business. And like many workplace, you have to do a lot of "networking" to be successful!
This dude was great
The Revival (the team that left wwe) was being mistreated. The Revival declined another contract by wwe, and they were forced to make complete fools outta themselves. They were booked in horrible comedy segments. Even though they STILL ARE One of the best tag teams ever in the WORLD
It's called pettiness. Hardcore WWE fans do mental gymnastics just to defend the treatment of the revival.
If this is the case... why would you ever want to go work there? It's not the holy of holys anymore.
That money lol
Money. Even jobbers make 6 figures
@@leir2005 Also want to add that once wrestlers leave wwe, a lot of promotions pay them more/better. It can be a good stepping stone
Years later and Ricardo Rodriguez was right. Failure H's philosophy is clearly in all 3 WWE shows. Ratings have been at an all time low, house shows were tanking before COVID put that to bed, and the wrestlers are no longer larger than life.
I have been watching since 1989 and the WWE hasn’t been good since 2012. Thats when it went downhill, i just stick to all the Raw and Smackdowns from 90s to 2008 on the network. Todays stories are terrible and there are no great characters/gimmicks. HHH needs help lol
@@FragranceGame85 nah it ended in 2016 cause there was really great storyline there even 2013 thru 2015 was good after all that it went so boring
His view on HHH is spot on
Lana is being punished for Miro being in AEW.
She just won the battle royal though.
@@oshanepatterson5452 yea to only lose to asuka in two seconds lol
@@oshanepatterson5452 put through a table 4 weeks in a row. ... she ain't beating asuka. She's being humiliated for her husbands decision.
He should resign to wwe angel Garza needs him fr fr
Moral of the story: damned if you do, damned if you don’t
Explains why Miro got buried
Explains why he’s not doing anything relevant in aew
I thought sheamus was hhh’s workout buddy back in the day
Sheamus should be working at a restaurant bar as a waiter
Ive seen NOTHING impressive in that guy
If i saw him on the street i wouldnt even get excited by him
What drug are you on?

No wonder he got the belt 3 times. He never deserved crap.
Funny how now all of hunters ppl are being dropped & “older talent” are being pushed to the side. But tbh I want Khans reign to be over already….
lol i cant believe grown adults conduct themselves like this. no one at my job takes it that seriously to do shit like this, we all just goof off all shift and go home lol
He went from sounding just like jonah hill to Chris Jericho
DOLPH SHOULD BE AT LEAST A 5 TIME WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NERD
Once was a mistake
@@TheDaveKrueger 🖕🖕🖕🖕
The Show off was so over with Aj Lee and they kept jobbing him to that bum Del Rio . Vince is a 🤡
I can see him winning the universal championship to add to it's prestige.
he sounds like a Mexican Jonah hill
😂😂
@@smileychuy you got insta?
@@da_bachelor this is late reply but calm down hornball lmao
Well the product was better than how it is today….
Funny how Bully Gunn is one of Hunters "boys", but left him for AEW
WWE basically dumped him after his failed drug test.
Just a Viewer LOL, he didn't left dude, they fired him.
I was more surprised about dean malenko and arn anderson tbh, both of them being highly regarded as great minds when it comes to wrestling, both now at aew
Oh how the turns table
watching this in 2022, hunters people and his version of nxt are getting picked off one by one, its khan's era and his people's time now. even shane left last year.
Starting to make more sense that wwe is the way it is now that triple h has more part in the actual making and planning everythkng...Vince likes it when you stand up to him so if he likes triple h doing that then......
Dolph cannot cut a promo
Yeah 'vince likes when wrestlers stand up for themselves'... But then again Titus oneill comes to mind getting suspended for touching vince lol
Ricardo seems cool af
The reason so many guys get buried in WWE is because there’s too many guys on the rosters. That why AEW doesn’t have a lot of guys. That way everyone can get their equal push.
Their woman’s division could use a bit more love though. And it is STILL better than WWEs.
Pretty sure AEW almost has 100 Wrestlers... for a once a week, 2 hour show that's a lot of people. It looks like they have less because you always see the same 10 people being pushed, but they have over 90.
Equal push, didn’t cody rhodes come back to a championship? When they have so many other stars that could’ve used that opportunity
now all ex wwe guys are in aew now so many rosters
Hunter finally got himself into the position he wanted when he married into the family smartest business plan
Either way wwe wrestlers are screwed
Christ, can the interviewer shut up and let Ricardo talk? Go watch any interview from Inside the Ropes. They're phenomenal because the interviewers understand that their guest is the star of the show.
Back when hunter had power lol
He has now
Lol I would be one who stand up for myself iven in it mean getting on hhh face ps love that vince story
I want Ricardo in AEW or something like that he's an amazing Charcter
Hes literally one of their spanish announcers lol
Ricardo was highly underrated in the ring. If it wasn't for the injures he could
Have been champion.
Crazy since now most if not all of em are gonna be fired if not already
I think that... basically wwe and not only want and need company guys to comply with whatever weird direction they throw at them no matter how odd and weird.
So basically if these guys stand up they disrupt a project. That is why jobbers and comedy characters are kept dear and perceived top tier players are eventually fired sooner than you expected
Sounds like it’s done a 180 since this interview
Stepping on feet = The amount of uppercuts to the chin.
If he wasn't released already, he didn't last much longer in WWE after this interview.
wrestlers dont work for companies when they do these shoot interviews dude, is this the first one youve watched?
I will never get the hype with Dolph Ziggler.
6yrs later, they gone
It's funny to see so many people defending Vince McMahon and John Cena still in a video about talents getting buried. Vince and Cena are on the same level. Sad really.
It's Adam from Man vs Food 😂
well, given the latest round of firings this video didn't age so well....
its really eye opening, seeing hunter kinda taking over from vince at the time of this interview and how nick khan is taking over from hunter. i wonder if vince doesn't see it as nick taking over as much as him taking the reigns back
Wonder why Vince liked Austin so much then… maybe he stood up for himself when he did something 🤔
Side note, I love how this man practically blue blood vessels every fucking night in his neck to scream "Alberto del Rrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeoooooooohhhhhh!"
Did y’all know he used to wrestle
Forgot all bout bro 😂 only time I ever saw him was when he was del rio’s announcer.
So little things like that
It’s crazy that WWE does that backstage.
that was 4 years ago you dweeb
For instance, little things like that
Scott Armstrong got released. Poor Hunter😏
Vince McMahon is not going to retire from WWE and that's the problem
The problem is that WWE is pg..... and Vince
Yeah especially now a days, Vince really doesn't like his wrestlers standing up for themselves!!! I believe everything Ricardo said in this interview.
I still feel Alberto Del Rio could have done more!
Id love him in All Elite Wrestling!
Alberto Del Rio is currently facing charges for assault and kidnapping. I don't think having him working anywhere is a good idea. The man is a mess.
@@MinimiMax He's fixin' to get bodyslammed, in the pen. .

I like Big Cass too, hes a dick in real life but he makes good tv, he dosent even need enzo but imagine the two on aew, it would be some good shit
@The Ninth Heart If you think so, i think its fantastico
@The Ninth Heart Just because you're an ignorant dumbass doesn't mean everyone else is. AEW is doing very well in the ratings going up against NXT and that's just the TV ratings. They also have it available on Fite TV for international viewers and yes, they do have fans all over the world too believdvit or not. Stop living in your little bubble where the only wrestling people know is WWE.
Dolph won his title from Al Birdo??
Never knew he spoke good english
same lol I was surprised to see this, seems like a great guy
Then yall both morons
He speaks bad spanish so...
@@vampirascoffin870 how ? they probably just didn't know much about him outside of what they saw its not far fetched to believe he had an accent i thought he mightve had an accent too because for the same reason i didnt much about him i never seen or heard of him outside of wwe now i would understand if it was a character like boogie man and the commenter said something like "oh i didnt know he wasnt really wasnt a demon/monster" or seeimg hornswoggle and saying "i didn't know he wasnt really a leprechaun"
WWE is the only company currently that seems the most messed up and petty to deal with
He speaks english!? Cool!!
Didn't know Dope As Yola was in the WWE
Thats why vince still likes y2j. He stands up and takes no shit.
Damm dude. Shut up and let him answer.
