I like the hatchery you've but I have never used it. Instead I have great success in decapsulating the eggs before putting them in the pop bottle for hatching. Having no shells and waste works well for me.
@@Rajaguru.aradhya777 I soak half a tsp of brine shrimp eggs in 50ml of tap water in a cup. Leave it for an hour so until the eggs rehydrate. I then add three ice cubes and 200ml of pool chlorine. You can always add air if you prefer but I have never used any air or filtration
So you don't have any filtration in the tank? I would think that the ammonia would build up kill them?
I have water salt brine shrimp no pump no filter in full sun the algea that grows is how they thrive actually only change water when bring in for winter otherwise top off evaporated water and that is really it easiest thing you can do
Dirtier and algea filled water better they do this would not be for display
@@shadbonen how does the ammonia not kill them?

The brine shrimp kove this environment
Line that Shit goes out the back 😂😂😂
Nice fish
The water in the big tub is saltwater with 30g / L?
@@PangoIin yes
Salinity is salt how much in the tub
I keep it at 1.025 you will need a refractometer or hydrometer to determine salt needed
Thanks for replying shad uk 😀
@@jwoodard621 sorry for delay comments didn't show any help or questions I always try to answer 😉
Are u feeding the adult brine shrimps solely on fish flake food, or spirulina powder is also required?
I do both but once the algea starts to grow on the tube sides I feed alot less and flake food is the main source I us
Wow thats so cool i really cool i need to try this 😍 the are so cute as big artemia i need to ask tho i will buy a basked for this do I just use normal water or water with salt ?
When I will feed this artemia can I use any food i want ? And this white stuff u heve in the basket is it sand ? Or somthing i need
They are in salt water, pretty much any finely ground fish food works, and I just put sand from my reef in to make it easier to see and film its not really needed
@@shadbonen okey thx and how ofter do I need to change water in the basket? And dont i need any air stone for them? Or air sponge? And If I heve them outside and summer I need to take them in at winter right? And how long do this basked need to stay with water inside before I can add the artemia babys? How much salt do u use per liter for the basket sorry for all this questions 😅
What is the product called (the hatchery) and where can i buy it?
Brine shrimp hatchery dish and online at bulk reef suppy
Hi there shad starting off in a 12 litre tank first but how much salt do i use got my tiny baby brine shrimp this morning so i put heater on it and air and light on then i will see if they take and make up your tote out side and transfer them to it but not sure of how much salt in the tote can you prosably help thank you from uk😀
So example 1/2 cup instant ocean salt per us gallon of water bit this is not exact you really need a refractometer or hydrometer to measure so you get 1.025 if your near a local pet shop they might sell you already mixed water or measure for you as it never mixes up exactly
I keep brine shrimp as pets.
Been watching a ton of these shrimp vids getting back into raising them your vid by far is the best on this hatcher just ordered one and the Tub growing them out fantastic they are huge. I got a good Gut load from Aquatic eco systems we used at the aquarium I worked at will feed that right before feeding the salt fish tank. How old are those big shrimp in the blue tub? How long does it take to get them that big. Any updates?? Thank you I am JAZZED LOL. Easy DHA Selco is the gut load. Trying to find a smaller bottle less expensive. On Aquatic Eco Systems Pentair web page.
They grow very quickly but requires the perfect informant. You will need daily sunshine as well as daily heat from the sun most important they will need feed and algea on the container willdo this best but if in a rush ground fish food will work if consistent
What's the salinity and what's the temperature on the outside bucket?
Temp changes with the weather and 1.025
Thanks for the vid
Mine hatched with no salt measurement
Hi there how long does it take for brine shimp tank to cycle and so its water and salt in a tank /tote top up with water when evaportates do i do water changes and clean the tanks or leave the algae thankyou from uk cant put bs in until tanks and tote cycled thank you for videos shad 😀
I have actually never done a water change in the grow out tank or tub just add and harvest I am not a biologists but these shrimp seem to thrive on algea and waste temp as well as salinity does play a part but as long as theses are in check never had a problem
It seems to be ready when you are haven't waited ever and have had no trouble
Your coral tanks amazing 😀
I use the same hatchery but I have a fresh water tank their for my pea puffers I can not for the life of me get them to survive over 24 hours! I need help! 😫
They need to be kept in lighted area and also need to be kept in saltwater the brine shrimp that is
are they Artemia Franciscanas?
Yes
Hi there shad my bbs are 3 weeks old and well 3wks 3 days and ive just noticed theyve had babies how am i going to get them into a bigger tank omg what do i do there in 12 litre and theyve had babies from uk thanks shad 😀
Well if you keep as pets you will run out of room fast but if you feed them to fish they kinda control themselves you could also sell to others in the aquarium hobby 😉
Sounds like all is working well kinda easy some people make it out to be a challenge
How do you prepare the water?
Waste water from a reef
Hi there shad how much do you feed goldfish brine shrimp thankyou from uk 😀
Just a small pinch a day of fine ground fish food
Thanks!
Got give a thumps Up on your salt tanks. I like your style of keeping things simple. Fantastic Video BTW - straight to the point and very Easy to follow. I'm just fooling with a tropical 10 gal, with 8 fish - flame dwarf Gourami & red eye tetras. (small sized)
How much would you recommend to start with a teaspoon of eggs? My intent is to grow to adulthood & have a healthy source without being inundated with shrimp.
They hatch quick enough you probly could start there and add if need to
Amazing job! You know if clownfish will eat grown up brine shrimp?
They definitely will aggressively
Yes yes
do they breed and multiply on there own??
@@YoriichiTsugikuni5 yes
how often do you have to change the water for the shrimp to grow that huge ?
I actually don't . Well I dump out and do fresh when I move it inside so I guess twice a year
Thank you for sharing Sir.
How long it takes from newly hatched to reach adults?
How often do you feed them?
I feed them small crumbs daily and seems like they grow fairly large within week and a half
Yeah they grow every hour so it would grow very fast
