Sailor Saturn/Hotaru has healing powers (that's part of why she was able to survive the fire that killed her mother - this and her father/Germartoid making cybernetic implants and putting Mistress 9 inside of her, but she probably wouldn't have survived even with this if not from her healing powers).
i was wondering why Hotaru choose to call Haruka Daddy, because as far as i know she still identifies as a women? Do you know if she was addressed like this in the japanese version as well?
@@19Rena96 Yes she did address Haruka as daddy in japanese. It's because Haruka plays the traditional role of a dad and Michiru the role of a mom. They are women (Haruka is actually non-binary in the manga and Crystal but her sex is female) but they're parents to Hotaru and Haruka prefers to be called dad rather than mom.
Hotaru addressed her as papa in the original sub. Much of that is due to the fact that Haruka, tho a woman, took up the role of the father figure. It especially makes sense given her type of personality. Meanwhile, Michiru and Setsuna takes on more of the mother figures. In all honesty, though, my head canon makes Setsuna out as more of the fun aunt figure.

The reason fans think she is both is because when Michiru made that statement, she was referring to Haruka having traits of both genders as per rigid Japanese society at the time (ie, she drove race cars and motorcycles which in Japane is very male dominated, wear more butch clothing, etc).

I’m actually more amazed that Michiru stayed in a standard dress while Haruka, the woman who can race in 122° weather smuggly commented on how the fake jungle was “just a little warm”, needs to unbotton her blouse. 😂
I hate to breaks this to you but he's Dead as his redemption and survival is exclusive to the 90s anime, in the original Manga and Crystal he's a unposessed phycopath who became evil on his own free will and turned into a monster who was killed near the end of infinity arc. It was only in the 90s anime where he was a truly good man possessed by a Daimon.

@MrConredsX Yeah we'll atleast in Crystal Queen Beryl retains the redeeming qualities and tragic backstory she had in the Manga, unlike the 90s anime we're she was just a purely evil villan, and need I remind you of how much worse Jadeite and Rubeus we're in the 90s anime then the Manga and Crystal.

Which the newer actress who did the voices of Pluto named Veronica Tyler kinda called out to me and makes me wanna get a chance to meet her in person now.
