great tractor. i saw one fully restored at the local threshermens reunion. i made a video of it. and of the threshermens event. my dad was a massey mechanic. we recently sold a massey harris huge sign at our local auction. i made a video of that too. we got almost 4 grand for that sign. it was unreal. had people bidding all over usa.
Beautiful. The 333, 444, and 555 really looked classy with the chrome strip on the grille and the accenting gold paint on the engine and grille screen. The only tractor better looking than these that they built was the 1938 101 Super Twin Power. It was sleek, streamlined, and absolutely stunning. The 101 Super was an all out styling effort. It brought total glamor to the farmyard.
@@bobhickling1837. The Engines on the triple series, including the Battery Box, are gold. That was one distinguishing feature of the triple series. The young Man in the vid correctly pointed out the other features. Red engines, of the triple series that You saw , are not a surprise to Me. I have seen countless TO 20’s and TO 30’s Ferguson’s incorrectly painted Red.
I wasn’t thinking clearly…I knew the triple number series had the gold engines. Never was a fan of that probably because I grew up on a 44 and liked the red better. But that os one beautiful 444!
Excellent video. My brother has a MH 444, two 333's, a 44, and a 33 that have been outside for 40 years and haven't been started in that length of time. Looking to sell to anyone with an interest in restoring or parting out. The 333 has a 4 row cultivator still attached. Don't know how to begin to sell them & could use some advice or help.
My grandfather had a MH 44 Special and my father had a MH 55, I loved working these tractors.

I've seen a lot of 444's but never saw one with the gold paint on the engine. All I ever saw were red.

We had a 444 on the farm . Hauled a lot of cow shit with it. We chained it up to our JD3010 and the 3010 had it hands full.
