I somehow doubt that yaoyao would've still been dendro if she was actually released as a playable character 2 years ago. I doubt mihoyo would've rushed the implementation of dendro reactions(other than burning) just because they released one dendro character 2 years ahead from other dendro characters still waiting for sumeru region release. my guess is she would've likely been anemo or geo based on her theme/appearance, or relegated to special npc like baizhu if she were actually included into past events.
imo, more likely could've been geo just cuz she's from Liyue
i think they might’ve released her as dendro just before the new reactions came out

My pokemon team is furina, yao yao fischl and lynette although i can see gouba working too. Lynetter's cat in the hat just does more swirling for the others and then burst with yaoyao run around and u have 8 pokemon doin their thing.
She is actually very good as a dps(especially on-field) saw a showcased of her when she released and i was surprised
And when you burst just run around so that you can shoot out more radishes,and also her e needs an upgrade

Spread damage looks at crit, EM and character level so you need more EM .. also yaoyaos elemental skill converts to burst damage during her burst so you should level it up for more damage
I disagree about "we will never use her" and "hiding in the basement for 2 years". She is a good healer and Dendro character, so I plan to use her even though before I got her I didn't want her at all. Having her has changed my mind.
I pulled Yaoyao and Xinyang last week they are both quite low AR friendly, even for people under 35AR
I was doing one pulls hoping for Yaoyao and somehow got Xiao at 10 pity without guarantee.
I got Yaoyao right after💀

one of my accs doesn't have nahida and I think yaoyao is my best option for dendro applicator I have on it(incldg. collei, dendro trav) until I get radish girl. so yes, I will be using her. although I only have 1 copy of fav lance in that acc yet so many polearm characters.

At the moment, I use raiden, yelan, xinqiu, and follow with yaoyao for off field electro and off field hydro and bloom/spread with yaoyao burst. I have 4 pc emblem on raiden and yelan and sac sword on xìnqiu so I can always use her burst lol
if u run around with her she does more damage because it drops more of the things

I actually got a c3 yaoyao from when I was wishing for Xiao. She's very cute, but she's been stuck at level 1 since I wished on his banner with alhaitham 😭 (i did get xiao though thank gods. I had been saving for him for months)
for the bloom set up you couldve swirled hydro with sucrose burst for better hydro application

Yao Yao hyperbloom with Ocean Hued set, its Broken AF. Any random Ocean Hued is good, but better with Hp Hp Healing bonus, er substats.
Wouldn't candace be better? She can make yaoyao deal water infused so every attack is water to make your own blooms.
