She said at 30 she’ll return to a more private life and (not sure if I understood this part right) less creative life. But I just turned 31 and have just recently entered my meme era and living life more freely. So, my little friendly reminder would be to not forget that we can be private or be loud, create, stay home, do whatever at whatever age because that’s life. This is what I’ve come to learn thanks to Kelly and creators like her online who I admire.
Aw i’m glad you’ve entered your chaos era! I will still be chaotic but in a different way. Having my life fully online is just stressful and I have a lot of unwanted interactions in real life. I would like to be more behind the scenes at some point. I am fine most days but on some days it gets to me. Some girl put me on the spot for my number and I kept trying to find a way to say no and she was not taking the hint and proceeded to sit down at my table where I was having lunch at a full-service restaurant.
When you are in your twenties, NYC is a great place to be. Embrace the season of life you are in. No need to rush the big things, they will still be there in your thirties. It's a beautiful time in your life when your biggest responsibility is to figure yourself out and not having to answer to others like a spouse or kids.
I am so addicted to you in a very HEALTHY WAY. Everytime I come on youtube, I can't even be bothered to watch anyone else but you. I BASICLLY AM THE STAMPEDE
One of the reasons I'm afraid of marriage myself is due to the fact that I get too much attention from married men in stores, in parking lots, going grocery shopping, literally doing mundane things. It's really discouraging to see so much of that, actually. Because if I ever ended up a wife, would I constantly have to worry about it then? It's like, if they're just gonna chase women after the wedding, why did they bother getting married in the first place? I know that their growing addiction to "adult media" is not helping. We are sexualized all of the time now, everywhere we go (and I'm just an average looking woman, nothing special). I'm still amazed at the amount of inappropriate attention I get sometimes. Anyway, hope I don't sound too "Debbie Downer" about this. I'm glad you had a nice day. I just feel like too many men are incapable of long term monogamy in general. They get bored and want "variety" eventually. It's part of the reason I decided to stay single several years ago. It's not that women don't cheat too, but it's usually men who will file for divorce after 40 years of marriage, leaving an older wife stranded sometimes in financial hardship. That terrifies me. (Even though I've always paid my own bills, been financially independent, etc) Men can marry younger. We can't. The irony is, now that I've sworn off men, I swear I get more attention from them now, then when I was still dating them. Go figure, heh.
This is exactly how I feel. What's the point if most men cheat? At least that's the way it seems. I don't know one person who hasn't dealt with a guy cheating or temptation. I know women do it too but my friends and I are exemplary humans and COULD NEVER. The thought of me cheating on my make-believe husband makes me sick to my stomach.
Saaaame. And many times these guys claim to love their wife/gf. It’s not like the relationship is on the rocks and they are looking for a way out (still wrong).

Hahahah thank you. Most days are fine but I feel entirely overwhelmed. It’s one thing adjusting to living alone, but it’s another to adjust to living alone while grieving at some points, having the stress of staying relevant, making the amount that I need every month and then when I try to step outside and have some alone time I get harassed by someone every now and then. They just don’t know any better. And every time I try to talk about this I know there’s at least a few people who take this as being ungrateful. I would just never force somebody to give them my phone number. That’s what happens to me quite often in Manhattan .
Nothing like that good NYC atmosphere to bring out the edge in you. There's no place like it. Hopefully, your trip this time around is better than it was in previous visits and lasts longer.
It's so fascinating to see you have the same thought process as I (and others as well) in regards to how we want to live our private lives, but our careers are public and we have to sacrifice that private comfort in going back to the city.
