Sotion Motor 25kW | Sur Ron Light Bee GOD MODE

- I have been riding and ripping the Sotion motor for more than 6 month at 25kW (30HP) now.
That is one thing to have power, another to use it as its full potential. Indeed, to really harness such a huge power (close to the Stark Varg power to weight ratio here), you need a pretty large track as wide open in between the trees with 30 F***ing horse power is a suicide mission.
So I went with a bunch of friends to the Orbassano Racing track with the objective of going throttle wide open and experience the full power of the MTO/Sotion combo. Let's see how it goes!

Superbe vidéo les gars comme d'habitude! Un vrai plaisir à regarder dans le canapé😉. Le moteur d'origine avec une puissance comprise entre 12 et 13kw me suffit amplement en enduro. Par contre pour une utilisation cross en effet ça peu avoir son avantage👍.
Oui tant que tu n’as pas de surchauffe moteur à la puissance dont tu as besoin, le changement ne se justifie pas !
Any tips for belt slippage? Running 15kw 650 phase on bac8k 72v stock motor and my belt just does not want to hook thank you!
At that power level I’d suggest to go with a primary chain. Holds up way better when big power level is used 🤘

Côté contrôleur maison, vous en êtes où dans le développement ?
Celui-ci se dirige plus vers le KO ou le TORP ?
Une idée de la commercialisation et du prix ?
On est vraiment sur la fin la. On a même ouvert les pre-commandes. En terme de feeling ce sera plus proche du TORP car le cœur logiciel est le même (VESC).

Crazy power! With 25kw I’m very curious about battery and autonomy on this track 😮 I’m 14kw with 72v44ah the battery go flat in less than 25min...
Hey mate. I run an 80V 40Ah so better efficiency than your 72V but still, not running much longer than 30min in there 😬

Oui ça peut faire l'affaire ! T'as pas besoin d'une couronne aussi grande je pense sur la TL pour que ça arrache ;)
Tout dépend aussi de ta pratique, de la taille de roue et de ton poids 😬
hey are you familiar with FARDRIVER CONTROLLERS AND will I need anything to install a 72680 on a sur ron?
and will I be able to change between 60v and 72v without issue or will I have to configure?
Hey there. I know them by name but have never really tinkered with that model. I neither use these on my bikes nor do we sell them so can’t help here 😬
