The father of my son-in-law was the pastor that was put in jail for having a Christian School in the 1980’s in North Platte, Nebraska. Through this horrible ordeal, we now have the right for private Christian schools. We are so thankful for the ones who have gone before us and fought for the Christian rights for our generations to come.
More, more, more!! I studied the Anabaptist stories in church history in college. Can you take your Dad to Switzerland and interview the man who listened to God and brought reconciliation? What a treasure that would be. More history from your Dad Priscilla. How did God build an Amish church revival through your Dad. I can't imagine how hard that was without family support. My parents were married the same year your parents were. What a journey of following God. I can't tell how blessed I feel listening to this story. Such a feeling of hope. God does hear our prayers for revival. When we seek God we find Him p
I must agree with the last comment please go to Switzerland. Francis & Edith Schaffer had a commune called LaBree Young people could stay for a short time visit ask questions & study, eat, hike with each other. Oh my goodness!! I kind of stumbled across this video and it immediately brought back a memory. Priscilla, your dad was part of a reconciliation conference in Pennsylvania that was part of that Anabaptist/Reformed church reconciliation journey years ago. I was there and remember him. I loved listening to his story on this video , but it only scratched the surface of the reconciliation story. I would love to hear more about his journey with that. I think you should do a part two video. This was so good.
That is really amazing that you were a witness to know Ben. You could probably give a perspective of how you and your family were affected by this encounter
Truly another blessing. I live in a big Amish community and I wonder what they believe. It's important to share our stories with each other we can learn so much. Your parents are treasures!
I was very deeply touched by these wonderful people, and their deep commitment to the Lord. They paved the way for others to reach the blessed shores of heaven. It is so remarkable indeed. May God bless you

What a very precious story of your father and mother in their beautiful spiritual journey in this life. Thank y’all for sharing your family and your journey.
From what I heard your dear father Ben share I could see God was on the move. His great heart was holding the cries of the believing Amish martyr from past generations for the right time to pour out His Spirit and truth on the Amish people. Your father was a prepared man from his loving care of the disabled brothers and trust in the Lord. Your father was like Abraham, a true friend of God. How great is our Father's love. I am so blessed by this video. I am very eager to hear more. More from Barbara, mother of 9!! Also. I suffer from disabling health and trust God for His plan and purpose for it. Praise the Lord.

Yes your parents are still young… Apparently he’s 10 years younger than I am!! My grandfather on my mother side was Mennonite. I never knew whether he was connected with the Amish view or not. He died long before I ever learned the difference. I’m so glad God is using such lovely people access beautiful couple. And they’re younger family is beautiful to. Thank you for sharing your life story with us. Biggest thing I’ve learned at the moment, from this story is to release my children to God. He knows what’s best for each of them. I have a daughter newly diagnosed with breast cancer and a daughter-in-law fighting multiple myeloma. Both are cancerous that could well take their lives. I’m not sure were each is with God, but I know only God can change a heart. And blessings on all of you and your stories.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I’m so sorry about your daughter and daughter-in-law! We pray the healing hand of God over their bodies in Jesus name!
Enjoyed your fathers story!! We live in Ohio and love visiting our Amish community in Holmes County. I have always loved driving by the beautiful farms. We have a wonderful pastor/friend that came to Jesus out of Old Order. He has quite a testimony of being delivered from drugs. He pastors a church in Apple Creek.. Your parents are delightful. Your mom is so quiet and poised while you all listen so attentively to your dad. I loved how he turned, placed his hand in your moms knee and acknowledged her part in standing by him all their lives. It was so sweet.

Wow! That was a superb interview that indicates an enormous faith & dedication to the Lord by a man like Ben with a wife Barbara that is very supportive to her husband with whatever they have been through in life particularly with the “world’s blow” in their lives. A couple (Ben & Barb) of faith, hope, dedication and obedience to what God requires…. I am not Amish but a Christian who is trying to center my life to Christ regardless of my situation and circumstance…. Thank you Joas & Priscilla for this vlog interview with Ben & Barbara. An insight of light and life!🙏
Dearest Joas and Priscilla... Thank you for sharing your "roots" with us...You are one precious family!! Although I am just a stranger to you, I love you with the Love of our Heavenly Father! 🙌 Can't wait for the next video.. (as I have watched EVERY single previous one) 😉
How precious your parents are, Priscilla! I think you take after both of them, by the way. What a blessing to have such a faithful, caregiving, courageous legacy. I appreciate what your father said about hope being more than a sense of wishing. How true your father's words are about how the religious system can divide families. Beautiful wisdom in the letting loose he mentioned, as well. I feel like I've been to church this evening and I loved sitting under this small bit of your father's teaching. I love that he honored your sweet mother and thanked you all. Thank you very much for this wonderful testimony/interview. May the LORD bless your dear parents and all of you.
What an amazing story of God’s amazing grace pricilla, you are very blessed to have grown up in such N amazing christian home. I am so thrilled i have found your site.
We enjoyed My Father's Story. When he mentioned that he was ordained a minister by a John Henry Byler from Guys Mills that is my wife's first cousin. John Henry moved to Mumfordville, Kentucky. John Henry is now just about or completely deaf. Keep the videos coming. 😊
A very beautiful video. Priscilla, your Mom is Beautiful and you look exactly like her. Truly amazing. God is Great and your Family is such a Blessing.
God bless your family. Wonderful testimony of how God worked through your father to bring Christ's salvation among the Amish. I never knew that was happening. My Dad grew up Amish in PA, but became Mennonite, he was a generation older than your parents. My father also went to Switzerland in 2004 to a conference for reconciliation in Zurich. It meant a lot to him also to see the river where Feliz Manz was drowned. God is faithful and remembers the sacrifices made by our ancestors for their faith. I pray our country will turn back to God.
I am from the Spears family in Colorado, and it was so amazing to hear about your father's experience at the hospital. Growing up, I always heard stories of the Amish families who would come out to the hospital, and so I loved hearing it from his own mouth!
Such a beautiful and touching story. Jonas and Priscilla you have wonderful parents. You both have beautiful legacies which you are passing on to your sweet children. God's many blessings to you and all your families.
I’m only 20 minutes in and already have goosebumps! If they ever write a book on their lives, I’d be the first in line to read it! Thank them so much for opening up their lives to us! What a life they have lived 💕

That was every mochable story that your father-in-law talked about I would love to hear more from the family do you have an amazing family God bless you all
Fantastic life-changing story about your father and mother! I grew up in Ohio just a few miles from Berne, Indiana. Today, we still go each year to Shipshewana, Indiana to the Amish flee market and auction. I have often wondered about the true relationship that the Amish have with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Some of the rules and traditions of the Amish community have had me questioning what was true and Biblical. This interview is SO eye opening and appreciated. I grew up in the United Brethren in Christ Church which had connections to the Mennonites, and I so loved the sense of community and love in that little country church of my parents. Thank you for sharing your lives on your channel!!!

I am so touched by Mr. Ben's faithfulness. God certainly knows, from the beginning, who He will use for His purposes.
God bless you all.
I listened to this and what a wonderful testimony, this really touched my heart, I currently live in Missouri in the heart of an Amish community.
