I love that, "there's no exit", that's how it was for us, we didn't believe in divorce. We were married for almost 35 years when the Lord called him home in January of this year. I still love and miss him every day.
I certainly do understand. I lost my traveling buddy, best friend, life partner, and husband of 30 years and three days on 8 November 2018. I loved him all of his life. I'll miss him for the rest of mine. I love your vlog. Love where you live. I'm from Alabama.

I am so happy i have stumbled on to your site. I am first of all a born again Christian and i have Been a pastor and and evangelist for almost 60 years (i will be 82 in August). By no means have i reached perfection but as Paul said i a striving to be like Jesus. Again, i am so glad i have found your site. I watch youtube almost every night and also watch all of the Alaskan videos i can find. I live in Florida and i am still very active. I love being married and know that God brought my husband to me but every day I remind myself to never take it for granted. Congratulations on 16 years and my only advice to anyone who asks how we are going to celebrate 40 years in about a month I just say God first, ALWAYS first and NEVER go to bed angry, EVER! My answer is I like your honesty and integrity. I am always looking for people who are honest to do business with. You two are blessed in that when you are having tough times you are will to be counseled. I was not so blessed because he wasn't willing to have someone "tell him what to do" as he put it. I won't go into to it but I had to exit to save my life after 22 years, that was 25 years ago. I still believe God saved me through it all. I too have been blessed with 5 children, and 8 grandchildren. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Such a sweet story. When we first married, we worked and lived at a Christian camp in Upstate NY and lived in a tiny cabin of 365 sq ft. Our “Love Nest”. Simple times. We always are grateful for that first year and a half. When sin was involved there was nowhere for us to go and isolate. We HAD to work through it and we are so grateful for that foundation we had.

Married 44 years and my husband is now adjusting to retirement and some health issues as I am adjusting to having him home all day. It is a journey with ups and downs and bends in the road. Our grandchildren are a blessing. They bring such joy to our lives and luckily live close enough that we get to see them all the time. Now a days that is not often the case.

I have fond memories of visiting my Amish relatives on their farm when I was a child. My dream is also to see God's kingdom on this earth as He originally intended at creation. Just came to this video. We are entering our 39th year of marriage and we both agreed that the word “divorce” was only used in describing someone else’s marriage or break up. We have had lows and highs and everything in the middle but we work through all of it, even those days we haven’t and don’t like each other, we have and always will love each other and again, we work through it. I have twin boys to. Our twins are 40 years old. Both boys went to Iraq. One came back with PTSD. He married a very evil woman. She cut him off from me, my husband, his sister & then his own twin brother. Very sad. We all pray for God to bring him back to us. Please monitor their girlfriend’s very carefully. Enjoyed your video today as l am a twin too. Being able to visit with Christian brothers and sister in Christ is so wonderful. At the end of the video when you mentioned the little girl that passed away, it reminded me of a boy who came to church with us kids and gave his heart to Jesus, within a week he went to be with Jesus. My daughter has twin boys. If you had an ultrasound while pregnant and they told you the boys were in the same sac then they are identical. My daughter knew she was having fraternal twin boys as they were in separate sacs. Keep these amazing videos coming please! So refreshing to watch a loving, Christian family who has honesty and is an example of love.

Ethan and Justin are such cute boys! I love what Joas said, for you (your marriage) “the back door is closed”, “there is no exit”. Marriage can be difficult at times but when determined and God is in the center of the relationship, resolving conflict can occur and differences can be resolved. I have twin boys to. Our twins are 40 years old. Both boys went to Iraq. One came back with PTSD. He married a very evil woman. She cut him off from me, my husband, his sister & then his own twin brother. Very sad. We all pray for God to bring him back to us. Please monitor their girlfriend’s very carefully. Beautiful family, May God continue to Bless you both.

Enjoyed your video today as l am a twin too. Being able to visit with Christian brothers and sister in Christ is so wonderful. At the end of the video when you mentioned the little girl that passed away, it reminded me of a boy who came to church with us kids and gave his heart to Jesus, within a week he went to be with Jesus. These things happen and we don’t understand right then why? But we have to remember we are in his plan and rest in him. Love you and your family, God Bless You from GG
