I saw an episcia for the first time today and immediately purchased it. The leaves are dark olive green with silver and metallic pink and it is flowering (orange red). Thanks to your video I hope to keep it alive and thriving. It is so beautiful.
Just gorgeous.I had the pink leaf one.At one time long ago I had over 100 African violets.Their really pretty.Mine just didn’t like their leaves wet.Interesting and informative video

I just bought a tiny cutting. Oh my, she's been cold and wet! I just put her in a slightly larger pot. And watered with warm water. I put the little pot in a pot of stones so maybe the temperature won't swing as much.
They are beautiful I would be glad to buy a lot of them but one problem in Virginia I hardly ever see them I don’t know why in my area we have three really large greenhouses they get violets all the time and episias are in the same family thanks for sharing
Hello there! 🌞 Yes there are of the same family. I have found that the best way to go about buying any is to look online. They are such beauties and deserve more credit in the plant world. Lol😁 I hope soon you can find some. Happy growing. 💜

I think the website called The Violet Barn carries them. Also just google Episcia for sale in US and some vendors should pop up for you. I’ve found all of mine shopping at a nursery called Hirts. They do have an online store.
