I keep mine in self watering, ceramic violet pots. They're all grown under grow lights because my cacti hog all the natural light. I'm the only one in my plant circle who is in love with these plants; my friends don't understand. It's nice to see others on here who love them, too. I don't feel so alone. :D
No one ever talks about these!!! I wonder why. Mine produces pink flowers from spring to fall 🤩 I have it under a grow light and it thrives. Yours is soooo beautiful.
I just got this a few weeks ago & one came that's not looking too good. Thanks so much for this video, I'll change its soil as its not as fast draining. I love this plant. Also, those cuttings after 14 weeks are huge! I can't wait for mine to get bigger.
@@onlyplants I've got a few cissus props in sphagnum and jungle mix in a box. They are growing ok but so hard to maintain growth. I think I might have to give up too.
I live in Tokyo. Long hot summers that can be humid and cold dry winters. My plants survive the winter well just in side the window next to the balcony. In winter there is a lot of sunshine. Few gray days. So I watch the plants to see the reaction. Philodendrons etc seems fine. So far.
Thank you for introducing me to this beautiful plant. I love plants that put out pups as well so sharing with friends is easier. I need them hanging in my room.
Thanks for this video. The one I have was my mom's, so it's at least 18yrs old. It likes to be bottom watered. I need to cut it back, but am fearful(I don't know why). It's really a pretty plant.
My epicia is growing in the wild where we dumped them, in full sun and no watering except during monsoon.... And then i decided to pot them... And took a few rooted cutting and they decayed... now i noted the tips , and hope it will work
Im from south america, is sad they are not as appreciated here, when they grow pretty much like weed. So beautiful. I like that even without flowers is so decorative.
Hi! I can’t find the video I watched that you used activated charcoal to rub on a node to propagate it. Do you just buy horticultural activated charcoal powder? Thank you in advance ☺️
Hi Shawn I have a plant that i could not get the proper ID, can you please help me out since i want to take care of it properly!! Where could i send you the photo! They say it is a mature amydrium medium but some say its a monstera epipremnoides
Nope they actually dont but sometimes I do add a couple of pellets of slow release fertilizer just for good measure. Im talking 5-6 pellets for a 10cm pot so its very very small amounts.
They can grow in anything 🤤 you can type in “onlyplants general potting” in the youtube search bar for a good recipe. But they really are quite adaptible
Oh yaaa! I actually take notes and make sure I put it in haha. I may have missed once or twice but it should be up! Would love for ya’ll to shoutout on the comment with time stamp when I do miss it. Thank youu

We rarely see these plants on sale in America. Thanks man.
They're so hard to find, aren't they?
Beauty of a plant. I hope I'll be able to find it here in my area. Thank you for sharing.
Yayy 😀
I had mealie bugs and lost my b beautiful plant. I did manage to save three small stolon. They are doing great.
Lovely plant!
I haven't seen any around.
Looks way easier to look after than my cissus discolor.
Cheers, Jo.
Considering I killed my cissus discolor, this is easier 😀 keep in mine this is in the african violet family 😀

Whoaa they are actually not that hard 😀 try to adjust care.
@@onlyplants yes, taking your tips for that... Kept them in shade in bright light zone and watering the root in limits without touching the leaf.... 👍
Let’s count how often ‚actually‘ is used 🤪
Thanks for another great video! 🙏🏼
Wow those cuttings!
Beautiful Episcia....Sean.
At the moment my Episcia is unhealthy...
Thank you for sharing...Sean.
Try to propagate and start again 😀
Send me a cutting to Florida. Love it 😍

Its a human behavior to not appreciate things in their own backyards… indonesians dont value local plants too and there are so many gorgeous ones.
Thank you Sean ☃️💚🙃
😀😀
What is that amazing water bottle thingy called at 10:00? 😍 I need one
Haha its a usb rechargeable water spray. Maybe find one in your online marketplace of choice
@@onlyplants a what 🤣 glad I asked, I would have never found that haha Thank you so much
@@onlyplants yes I found one! Thank You!
Yeah! It's true. "ΣΚΙΑ" in Greek means "shade". Funny thing is that here in Greece this plant can not be found easily, in nurseries.Oh well.. 😕
It must’ve been described by a Greek botanist 😀
Hi I love this plant but here in Chicago I haven’t seen it
Hope they become more common soon. They are very very cheap here due to their fast growth habit
Is an east facing balcony a good idea? Under the shade
I would say it is but it also depends on size of the window and distance from it. They can live in low light though so you are probably ok!
Wow! Beautiful plant! I get most of my plants from Amazon but they don't got this beauty!
They dont ship so well I recommend to get them from a physical store 😀
Thanks , now i can propagate my plants
They make wonderful gifts. Ive put many smiles on peoples faces with these babies.
thanks Sean
Beautiful 😍
Thank you ❤️
can you make a video about colocasia (pharaoh's mask)
I dont own that one 😅
HI, do you have a phyiscal shop where I can buy things like soil, compost whatever is needed for gardening?
I dont 😅 Im focused on creating contents only
Hi Sean! Excelent cultivar and example it. How many years it has?
Hello if you were asking how old the plant was, it was around 1 years old
@@onlyplants Congratulations Sean! It´s gourgeous.
Good job

Hi!
I can’t find the video I watched that you used activated charcoal to rub on a node to propagate it. Do you just buy horticultural activated charcoal powder?

Nope I use food grade activated charcoal. 😀
@@onlyplants ahhhh…I see. Just wipe you’re fingers on them and whala! Powder.
Got it 🙃

Everythings ok, they were considered small tremors.
Ohhhhh I love that!,,,,I want it.

Hi Sean, did you fertilized them during those 14weeks? And do they need fertilizer and how much required? Thanks 😊💕🇹🇹

I like to keep then in 10-12 cm pots.

I can only be reached out at @bo.tan.ist on instagram 😀
And responds very quickly on there
I water from the botton
That works too! I used to bottom water my plants when I had a manageable size collection.
I like you the best.
episcia aing sehat tapi gak mau tumbuh lebat segitu gitu aja pengen ku buang rasanya
Kurang sinar mungkin… dan juga bisa celup anakan nya di atas pot agar mereka keluar akar.
Ur look very happy but they don’t love me at all.
Wooh try to propagate and start over?
