it's that the police won't come.

Excuse me Mericans, but Wallmarts don't have security in their markets? In my country every supermarket 1/10 of a Wallmart size has a security on the exit and if somebody did that, he would get ass kicked
Not really, no. And the ones that do, the potential for getting sued or killed over cheap chinese products isn't worth minimum wage.
Nah, most stores in my area at least don't bother with security guards. An entire mall might have one or two security guards on hand. Unless there's a reason to expect trouble, most places just call the cops if something happens.
Security isn't allowed to do anything anyways. No physical contact. Most limit verbal confrontation. Their job is to be a witness and mark the time of the incident so cops can find it on security cameras if the store even wants to file a report or if the cops actually show up. There's a reason most Americans have a gun. Nobody is there to help if shit goes really bad
thats because yall dont have a second amendment. weve got more guns than people.

Abusing people isn't a prank. This just shows a lack of talent or imagination to come up with a real prank. Watch old candid camera clips and you can tell the difference.
just start playing copyrighted music on your phone if someone is filming you for some b.s.

Pretty much play any song from a Disney movie.
Plenty of editing software to filter music out of footage been available for years now.

I'm a defend Walmart here and say that it is not their fault that it is happening. Even if they called the cops they will either not show up or show up after they are gone. So they will just go to another one of the thousands of Walmarts out there and do it again. Also if Walmart did not exist this type of behavior still would.
If our society actually encouraged behaving like an intelligent, civilized and decent human being, these things wouldn't happen. There is a reason why public shaming was used so often in the middle ages.
Walmart had cameras literally everywhere on the store and should immediately submit to the authorities for this crap.
There's probably like two serial pranksters in each store, so they wouldn't be hard to track down.
They are absolutely responsible for what happens inside Walmart. There is no defense for Walmart allowing this!
An armed society is a polite society. If the customer had been open carrying the "influencer" would have picked someone else or gone somewhere else.
