I was introduced to Blue Beetle from “Batman the Brave and the Bold” and the way he was shown made him one of my top DC superheroes. Like his suit is so versatile, I would say it puts Iron Man to shame.
He's definitely on the Green Lantern level... And that being inexperienced.. with merely the scarab to guide him with a few options. Who knows what he could achieves once he reach Hal Jordan experience.. I wish the writers could take him that far instead of rebooting him all the time.
I have always said that either Blue Beetle (Jaime) or Static have potential to be the answer to Spider-Man during his younger years (or to Miles depending on how you view it). But gosh damn it seems like a majority of the times the characters tend to do better on TV than they do in most recent comics. Let us hope the Blue Beetle movie will lead to a good ongoing comic series or at least more fame for the character. And hopefully the same treatment can be given to Static in the future.
I hope we get an animated series out fi the movie. I think with the right writers it could be a great way to adapt his story! And I agree it would be the answer to a Peter Parker type character. Blue Beetle New 52 got me permanently back into comics after my dad introducing them to me my entire life. Years later I read Final Crisis- and I finally saw how Ted Kord was so pure and yet no one believer him? And he died? It honestly broke me. Your heroes aren’t always awesome. Batman tore him down and even WW (his biggest advocate at the time) told him to just stop. And the entire time? Ted was right. It still breaks me on a personal level. The new BB, Jamie Reyes, is my favorite super hero of all time. Why? I read new 52 and rebirth and I love the high school broken kid story. He’s actually insanely powerful. But like Kord- no love or respect. Thanks for making this video! It’s made my heart smile and me gaze at my full Blue Beetle comic collection 🥳😎🙂

relate to you with all the knowledge he has. One thing is true is that
YOU don't have the rights to know all the details of what God knows
about everything and everyone else. And God will not relate to you
with that knowledge either. God knows- but will only relate to us
with the interpersonal rights of knowledge we have betwixt us
and him.
