When you think about it, Clones are literally a lottery of where you'll be placed. Fox pretty much won it by lazing back on Coruscant, and then there's the poor sods who were forced onto Felucia. Not to mention the Jedi you might get might be Krell or some incompetent person or a traitor.

So, let me get this straight. All clones have the same DNA, yet some get to be commanding officers safely protected in the bunkers, while some are in the frontline suffering days against droids, in unimaginable weather, diseases and local predators.
Same dna physically, but different psychological profiles and levels of independence depending on the environment around them. Battalions should be rotated out fairly instead of just implementing them to one set deployment where it is completely unfair. But, it's the republic, and it's a means to an end. Most senators don't care about clones and just see them as numbers towards a goal.
The commanding officers were typically more "gifted" clones... They have the DNA but their personalities varied wildly, and a lot of clones were intentionally bred with certain modifications to their genes and given special training. At the start of the war a Lieutenant or Captain would've been little more than another Clone specialist like a pilot, but as they gained experience, and many commanders went through ARC Trooper training, they quickly became some of the finest warriors in the GAR.
Thats the nature of training. Also the Cloning process isn't 100% perfect, so a lot of them end up with subtle differences and their experiences let them develop different personalities.
Different personalities and different training regiments factored into their role in the GAR. Like you said, some might be a general, commander, or a fleet admiral. Some are influenced and trained by Jango Fett himself and become gifted ARC Troopers. Some go through an officer academy due to their exceptional leadership skills. Some are more intune with the mechanics and become pilots, engineers, and crewmen for the navy. Some Clones even become surgeons if they are shown to be gifted in the medical field. So same DNA. But in the end of the day, a Clone's varying personality type, the predetermined role he was intended to fill, and whichever dude mentored him will influence what his career will be in the Clone Army.
Imagine being a clone in the 12th sector army, survived months on a planet that is not suited for combat, seen your brothers die besides you, got shot, stabbed, and poisoned several times but manage to live to fight another day, and then the 501st (or any legion for that matter) showed up for just a day to win the battle, and then taking all the credit for it.

Is it possible to genetically modify your body to be force sensitive? Because if I was a clone and experienced that I would probably try to use the power of the dark side of the force. First I would use it to kill all of the covert ops clone troopers because I’d turn into a deserter, then I would find a light saber from a dead Jedi and use it whenever necessary.

The Grand Army of the Republic were scattered and suffered from the vastness of the Galaxy that support and resources were never truly secure their territorial gains. The Clone Army was stretched to its very limits that it really was a miracle that even with Darth Sidious meddling was able a secure a republic victory.
Whilst I have as much hatred for Sidious as any other sane person, keep in mind, he did want to ensure that the Clone Army inevitably would win, as part of his building of the Republic's Military might (to become his enforcement arm as Emperor). He hampered the CIS armies on many occasions as well to assure that victory.
What about the Spaarti clones -droid attack- on the -Wookiees- war front? They were used at the end of the war and were practically as bad as the B1 battle droids.
I think they were assigned to the same sector as Corrosaunt so that they would be on standby if guys like the 12th sector couldn't handle a mission on their own, but both the 501st and 212th were the primary legions used in massive scale attacks so they would probably burn more supplies meaning they need to keep resupplying directly from the republic
Th 501st and a few other clone battalions were thuer verison of our marines they were the best of the best and the 501st took orders directly from Palpatine and anakain Skywalker
well dang, you couldnt be more right though the 501st grabbed all the glory for basically every sucessful battle while the rest of the legions were sent to hell holes. BOY
It's almost as if the 501st were only ever committed when victory was assured. Like with Nepooleon and his Old Guard. So the other units bleed themselves white for every little victory. Then Vaders Mailed fist delivers the finishing blow.

They could do a show about the Clone Wars and show tons of all new stuff. All different types of missions and planets. They were fighting a front that he couldn't "let" them win, so his pulling strings probably played a part in their repeated losses. As for their reinforcements, the ones involving Anakin were also certainly Sidious's doing again, giving Anakin the opportunity to seize more glory.

The clones got the worst of the Star Wars universe and yet they are really neglected with content from games movies and tv shows. Yeah we got clone wars on cartoon newt work then that beautiful series got wiped and now everyone forgot about that cause bad batch comes out and everyone just nuts on anything g Star Wars but they don’t listen to us till the last minute. How does an army of only 2-3 million sustain 10s or 100s of thousands in one battle and not be crippled?
Sector armies and spariti clones probably saved the republic since a small army like that couldn’t sustain its self in the galaxy with some of the losses they took
One source suggests the clone army has a billion soldiers. That one online source is my headcanon
Anything smaller than a formation can be considered a unit in military terminology.
@@justjoking5841 In SW a legion was about 10,000, with a sector army being over 100,000. So... Clone army should have been absolutely crippled by the loss of just a couple legions.

Recovery of troops with Bacta can be near instantaneous in some cases. Troops that are considered missing can be located too. KIA can be replaced by Reserves. The 1.2 Million or 3 Million figure likely means "Main Line//Regular Forces" probably.

Not positive but at this point they were just sectors then tarkin suggested the oversectors sounds like 5 sectors per grand moff with greater corusant created a separate command no longer 1st sector like in the clone wars but it depends on which continuity we use
