Awesome, simply awesome. The appearance is perfect and it actually has one advantage. Two characters in one. Tom and Claus. Something similar happened with SD in civilian clothes, where there was one spare head of another actor. I have always admired Stauffenberg and I am very much looking forward to seeing his figure on the market in the Czech Republic. I'm drooling just watching your video, awesome :)

Thanks for the nice response. It's an awesome figure, and I hope you get to pick it up.

Nice one Daniel!! Great set of figures there! So is the background and table so you can set up the meeting room where the assassination attempt took place? Looks great! Boots look like a nightmare to lace up! Cheers for the video 👍🏻🍻

Thanks, Chris. The backdrop is not the room where the assassination attempt took place, and the table where it did was much larger and heavier - the top was about 4" thick solid wood. I think this backdrop and table is intended to show him assembling his bomb in the briefcase.
At the risk of sounding conceited, I have become adept at lacing up and tying sixth scale boots (it's the damn gloves that gives me problems!). As noted in the video, the secret on those DAK boots is to keep the laces pulled tight as you lace them up.

KICK ASS!!!! i also kitbash with new figures with extra heads, tunics, etc. I never let them sit in the box without doing something with them. I would love for you to see my Pre-war Algermeine collection. I have all of Hitlers inner circle mostly kitbashed with 3R and newly DID fitted uniforms and the best headsculpst. Georbells, Reignhard H, Himmler, Hess, etc I'll send you a link when I can get them photographed.....

Would love to see your collection. Always nice to meet another sixth scale military collector (there really aren't too many of us on TH-cam). I have a large backlog of WWII German figures to do. I also do Star Wars and modern military.

In answer to your other question (which for some reason is not showing up), if a figure can be reconfigured for different looks, I always try to do so, either by buying a second figure set or by buying loose parts. It all comes down to what is the most cost effective and whether or not I can get the loose parts. On this particular figure, when the loose parts first became available on ebay (this was before it shipped to the U.S.) pricing the loose parts needed to make a second figure was more expensive than buying the set. However, a few weeks later it was cheaper buying the loose parts.

that is what I was wondering because you had the same headsculpt (on other reviews you did) and couldn't tell if you bought a new headsculpt or another set. cool!@@daniel_sc1024

right on. I collect mostly WW2 German figures and original memorabilia. Germany just made the best of everything. Esthetics, style, top quality and well made. They were just operating on another level. Its unfortunate that the bad apples spoiled it for an entire country. They were excellent soldiers, even some in the SS. They were not all bad. @@daniel_sc1024

@@kratoleaf7619 My goal with my military figures (German and otherwise) is to illustrate their uniforms and kits, not so much the personalities. I would love to get Hermann Goering, not so much to have him but to have his reichmarshal uniform in the collection (hopefully 3R will update and reissue it one day). I also find it fun learning about things like their rank insignia and so forth. Right now I am debating getting the new Field Marshal Model figure - I have an older Rommel figure already, so the only thing he would add is allowing me to have one of them displayed in his great coat.

Why an actors head. Sooner have it modelled to the actual person. I'd keep it altogether in the box otherwise takes the value off

I did replace the head on the third figure with a Stauffenberg head; I didn't want a Tom Cruise figure. 🤣
I don't collect these for their value, and putting them together is half the fun. So there's no keeping them int he box.
      Thanks for stopping by.

@@daniel_sc1024 regret getting rid of the action man I had as a kid. Early months of year bought the 1982 talking commander with eagle eye unboxed. Then this year a 1973 action man field commander and field radio set boxed and 1992 G.I Joe Duke army soldier unboxed saved money so got spare uniform. Feb 1973 action man pilot missing helmet Land rover Jeep and scouts car, last month 2 1990s action man figures. First thing the woman said when I bought the field commander have you got the bug 😄
