if you watched the video where they unclip and look at the rocket from outside, it appears that rocket never left the planet and there's just an animation displaying all the things happening infront of the rocket. So a view from the gun is...sadly gonna be nothing lol
@@gamegaloo The only reason they did that is because the ship warps. It would be quite easy to make the ship simply go up add some flame effects and reuse the laser from the sunbeam explosion

On my main world I found that you cant leave without disabling the gum by accident I literally forgot to turn it off I even looked at it coming back from the sea emperors facility
The gamer in me wishes there was a case for the neptune exiting and being shot down. The game dev in me probably understands why they didn't LOL The sheer scope of this game, we can live without s custom cutscene that would've probably taken weeks of animation, programming and voice acting just for a curiosity at best.
It would be nice if the rocket would be shut down, your pda broke and you would have to start over getting blueprints for the rocket and then building it again.

I'd taken about a 9 month break from the game a little while after finding the gun because I got bored of going around in circles trying to work out where I needed to go to progress. Came back this month and found the Lost River. Progressed till I built the rocket and thought I was about to complete the game but ran into what we see in the vid.

You wouldn't need to lose resources, the game could respawn you in your base before you start to launch the rocket
