    This was such an interesting experience. Though I'm familiar with English/American and have some tiny experience with Japanese, I'm not that familiar with the sound of Portugese.
    Yet here we are, listening to a Japanese guy studying in the US, speaking Portuguese in brazil. It sounded Japanese and a little American at times to me, with hints of Spanish.
    No idea if Portuguese naturally sounds a bit Japanese at times, I should listen to some more native speakers. :)

      Ele sabe português. Aprendeu desde criança com os pais. Ele só foi se esquecendo pq não havia com quem praticar. Mas foi só passar mais tempo com os pais e falando só em português,ele começou a se lembrar. Ele.mwsmo disse que se ele passar algum tempo no Brasil,com duas semanas ou mais um pouco,ele já volta a falar mais "normalmente". Meu querido Túlio,se vc começar a fazer vídeos em português e mostrar mais os lugares onde vc estiver,os brasileiros vão alavancar o seu canal. Isso eu te garanto.

      You need to remenber that in Brazil there are a lot of accents inside the country, so little mistakes don't makes it difficult to undestand

      @@saasdofuscao O português é um idioma silábico, ou seja, que dá muita ênfase a separação das sílabas e não a fluídez da fala, já o inglês, é quase uma língua cantada, as sílabas não tem importância, muitas letras são comidas na pronúncia e o foco é a agilidade da fala, a capacidade de falar o máximo de coisas em um curto período e de modo quase melodioso, por isso que os americanos falam tão rápido e soa tão bonito.

    I understand how you’re feeling, my friend. I lost my grandma last year. Living in Brazil, I’m also a polyglot, juggling three languages simultaneously.       @@魏行 I've never been to Macau, but I'm always involved in places that speak more Portuguese and Cantonese, in China in the Guangdong region, Portuguese I know because my family is from Sao Paulo Brazil

      Same... I speak Japanese with my dad and Portuguese with my mom and english with my sister. I used to live in Russia and japan so at school id speak russian and english in russia, and in japan i used to speak english or japanese at school. This year i moved to brazil and i realized that i still make silly mistakes at school, but i think that im getting better (still stutter tho)

    Hey Tulio, this video really resonated with me! 🥺My dad is Brazilian but I also grew up abroad (in Germany, where I still live) so my portuguese is super rusty because I rarely get to use it. 😞I understand like 90% of what's said, but when I try to have deeper conversations, there is just so much vocabulary and grammar that I am missing, and my fluency isn't great. I wanna be closer in touch with my family in Brazil, but I get super frustrated with my language struggles and feeling inadequate.
    It made me very happy to see you speak only portuguese with your family and I wanna try this next time I visit my dad 😊

      E por conta que o espanhol são línguas muitos parecidas porém a pronúncia é o significado são outros ,tem algumas que tem o mesmo significado ex: nada em espanhol e nada !!!,e também tá por conta do passado depois que a língua grega romana entrou em extinção deixou o legado em alguns idiomas ,inclusive o português e o espanhol

    This video makes me feel very identified. I am from Spain and my parents and most of my family are from Brazil. Even though there is now part of her that lives here, there are still a lot of family members in Brazil.
    Sometimes it is difficult for me to communicate with them and I feel pressured or embarrassed, since I feel that I do not have a good level. When I have my parents around is when it is most difficult for me, since I think that since they are not used to hearing me speak Portuguese, they will be more attentive to what I say. But i still try to make an effor. (Well, but i'm not talking about the times that i want say something but i don't say it cause i don't even know how to haha.)
