I love to doodle geometric patterned houses, villages, etc. but it never occurred to me to use scrapbooking paper in a similar way! And I had no idea that glossy medium could be used as a base for shading like that. I've been wanting to get into art journaling and this video has given me so many ideas! New subscriber; THANK YOU!
I'm always buying Scrapbooking paper. And I don't do photo albums or anything like that. You can use them for other things. This is cool. I like all of it. The stickers, the paper. 😊 Gives me ideas for a Art Scrapbook..🙂

Omg, when you cut into those papers, I cringed!!! Seriously doubted anything was worth cutting those gorgeous specimens up for (When did I start seeing papers as gorgeous specimens, it used to be Men)!!!! Then, boom, it all came together so beautifully. I was stunned with the end result. I absolutely love love love this. I have those big brush pens somewhere (never been out of the box), and I have so much paper I couldn't use it all if I lived to be 200 years old!! You've provided me with a good reason to get them out and get creative (been in an absolute slump these last few weeks and havnt even been in my craft room). Thank you so much for sharing this. Im sure you've inspired so many people today. Stay safe and keep creating. We need it at the moment xxxx
Lorraine Mcneil Boy I feel the same way my husband passed away in Aug of 2018 have not gone anywhere sence no crafts at all and if I did made something’s for Christmas but jut sitting on my kitchen table all alone is something I’m enjoying talking to my sweet Jesus and my love in heaven after 40 years of a romantic relationship he did so much for me and we only had each other now I’m alone. When I saw this video it inspired me to get magazine out for its all I have and I don’t know how to order off of my phone my honey did it all for me any really thought he and I would pass together him , That didn’t go as planned. I’m going to be 72 next mounth and not motivated at all . Wow“Grieving is for the birds .” I said all that to say I know what you mean . Iv lost it . hope you don’t mind I just went on and told ya . 😛🤪🤩😆🙏☝️🎸😆✌️✌️✌️✌️God bless you and stay inspired. This helped. Thanks for being a great listener. 👍☝️🦋🦋🦋

I did this with a twist...painted background black as though was nightime... added a moon. I'm not artist but I Love it. Thank you for inspiration. I would add pic but not sure how to do that.

What a wonderful page! Putting the watered down gesso over the patterned paper is something I have never been able to make myself do.
