Currently 1375 usd for full auto model 040. I went with the 44 semi with the lever and spring for 1250 usd. Much more control then just a push bar.

This video IS the 044, the 040 is the full automatic version. The 044 has the lever on the left side of the machine to move the carriage, which is plainly visible in parts of the video.
Can it cut Toyota double sided keys? I bought a different machine Key Duplicating Machine Key Guide Key Reproducer Reproducing Cutter 598B Engrave, and it didn't correct jaw for Toyota key so I have to manually rise the height up.
You should actually trace the key back and forth a few times to be sure you cut it properly. It's good to know how to properly cut a key if you are going to make a video of how to do it. I was just looking at the key machine to see about buying a new machine.
@@safeshowroom This is not true. Please stop giving out advice. There's so much wrong in this video. Also cutting keys like that will wear down the blade fast. You always control the carriage and prevent it from diving in. Go cut a Sargent with a 0 cut and one pass on this machine. Let me know how that works out for you.
Like you I came here to see if this is a worthy machine for a customer. I would prefer to sell them a Bravo III. I just don't think they want to spend that much. We have 2 Bravo III's in my shop. They're like a Toyota or Honda from a reliability standpoint. Yet are the Lamborghini's of the key machine world.

The 044 Speed is a hunk of garbage if you plan on keeping one in your service van. The vibration from the van will cause all components of the carriage arm to come out and fall apart while you use the duplicator
Never tell someone they can start off gauging keys by the lower shoulder. Also, you should be controlling the carriage. Cutting like you did in this video is how you prematurely wear out the blades. Not to mention that your spacing is off since you cut so much of the tip off the key. So much fail in this video

If any of you have the Silca 044 or 045. Use a DND key blank for tip stops. There’s zero play. So the keys align perfectly.
The steel stop bar system used for your automotive key adjustment is absurd. Who designed this system?

If your machine is properly adjusted and you are using a sharp cutter then only one pass is necessary.
