She lasted ten years and would likely still be with NW if she hadn't hooked up with that overbearing, narcissistic Argentinian. I love Tarja's Mezzo Soprano voice but her vibrato always sounded like an 80 year old woman. Anette was a very good pop singer but she couldn't sing Tuomas's music even though she was with NW five years. Can you imagine her singing Ghost Love Score?? I can't. Floor can sing anything and is a very empathic person and can sing Tuomas's music and put more emotion into Nightwish songs, maqking them her own(with the approval of the man who wrote them. She is absolutely the most versatile singer with the widest range(Contralto-Soprano) Nightwish has ever had. With all that Floor has shown to offer, to me she is the best.

She gained global notoriety when she was 14/15 during a singing project called You Are Super that featured orphans and disadvantaged children. Diana was an orphan at a young age unfortunately. Sorry but by chance there is quiet a few...with more regards to the lyrics ..Diana is a performer ,perfectly acceptable. She has a very particular voice. Her force and her weakness in the same time...She is "condamne" to stay in that "niche". She makes a show of it..ok. But, is she a true singer ? No. IMO. This is why I say, yes there is quiet a few singers on the planet who will go to the essence of the song, what I don't think she does! And yes, in order to truly understand what I'm talking about, it is advisable to listen to Diana's songs with Russian lyrics and understand the language. Better yet, attend her live concert. I’ve listened to this performance probably 25x since yesterday! I subscribed to her channel+ listened to many more vocals from her. I read up about her- she’s an amazing sweet humble, gorgeous young woman. She has performed all over+ also with other great singers. And, no there was not another singer - she can control her voice to do two different tones at one time. Unbelievable!!! And, as talented as she is( she is addicting😊) she remains very humble+ gracious to everyone. A beautiful human with what I would imagine is close to an angelic being singing! Love her! She was abused as a toddler by her parents and left at a bus stop and her aunt was contacted and ended up taking her in and adopting her and has helped w her singing journey. There are many other good ones. The Russian fans can fill you in on her interesting past. She is my favorite female singer. Dimash’s composer, Igor Krutoy, has helped her. Diana’s voice has matured and improved even more, recently. Anyway, Diana’s version of Chris Isaac’s Wicked Games is a world Class performance at the age of 15 years old. I think Diana’s voice dropped 2 octaves in between 14 and 15 years old. She has had voice training since she was around 5-6 years old. Her version of Ah ha’s “Take on me” is very beautiful too. Sorry, but Egor Krutoy is NOT Dimash's composer! In times of thehe USSR Mr. Krutoy was quite famous and well decorated composer. Dimash wasn't even in thoughts to be conceived... From what I have been able to gather from translated info from people, Diana was abused and beaten as a very young child, then abandoned by her mother at the age of 4yo. She was sent to an orphanage where a wonderful woman who was a carer there, officially adopted Diana. She is shown briefly in this clip. When Diana was once in the orphanage, she wouldn't speak at all, still being so traumatised. Part of her therapy was learning to sing, which brought her out and showed her personality for the first time in her life. She loved to sing and at 6yo performed on local stages, with other girls. At 10 she did her first professional recording and filmed it in a studio, singing Oh Darling (Beatles cover) . On Russian tv there was a show called You Are Super, similar to the Voice, but was created for orphaned and disadvantage children. This clip is her debut on the show at 14yo, and this voice (a contralto) emerged on the scene. She performs Rechenka (The River) an updated version of a classic Slavic folk song, often sung at weddings, about a parentless girl calling the Spirit of the River, to advise her what to do in her new marriage to come, if she she does not love the man. She gained global notoriety when she was 14/15 during a singing project called You Are Super that featured orphans and disadvantaged children. Diana was an orphan at a young age unfortunately. She had a speech problem early on and her adopted Mother put her in singing lessons to help her speak properly...and they discovered her deep, powerful voice shortly afterwards. Check out her cover of Wicked Game. It's dark, mystical and mesmerizing. She has a one of a kind sound and an amazing talent. Frankly she's still developing. No telling how good she gets long term. The show you just watched is Russian TV (NTV) and she sings every Saturday night for two months. Each song in a different genre and her fellow singers in the crowd all critique and praise each other...no judges, so it's more of a variety show than a competition.

Sorry but by chance there is quiet a few...with more regards to the lyrics ..Diana is a performer ,perfectly acceptable. She has a very particular voice. Her force and her weakness in the same time...She is "condamne" to stay in that "niche". She makes a show of it..ok. But, is she a true singer ? No. IMO. This is why I say, yes there is quiet a few singers on the planet who will go to the essence of the song, what I don't think she does! I don't see "song first", but " I 'll show you what I can do with my voice. (Same apply to Dimash or Pomoy ).If they agree that they do showing off before anything else., it's ok with me. True singer serves the song not the other way round..

And yes, in order to truly understand what I'm talking about, it is advisable to listen to Diana's songs with Russian lyrics and understand the language.
Better yet, attend her live concert. I assure you - when Diana sings in the same room with you is an incredible experience, videos from youtube do not convey this.

I’ve listened to this performance probably 25x since yesterday! I subscribed to her channel+ listened to many more vocals from her. I read up about her- she’s an amazing sweet humble, gorgeous young woman. She has performed all over+ also with other great singers. And, no there was not another singer - she can control her voice to do two different tones at one time. Unbelievable!!! And, as talented as she is( she is addicting😊) she remains very humble+ gracious to everyone. A beautiful human with what I would imagine is close to an angelic being singing! Love her! Best way to support her is to subscribe to her channel. 🤗

She was abused as a toddler by her parents and left at a bus stop and her aunt was contacted and ended up taking her in and adopting her and has helped w her singing journey. She began with yodeling which is why her voice is so laryngeal sounding. 🥰✌🏼

Travis, Diana, pronounced “Dee Anna”, she is from Russia and her voice type Is “dramatic contralto”. No one on earth sings the way she does. She sings in many languages. I have been listening to her for a couple of years now. She has many videos on her channel. My favorites are; Wicked game” ,in English, “Last dance” in French, “Rechenka” in Russian. There are many other good ones. The Russian fans can fill you in on her interesting past. She is my favorite female singer. Dimash’s composer, Igor Krutoy, has helped her. Diana’s voice has matured and improved even more, recently. Anyway, Diana’s version of Chris Isaac’s Wicked Games is a world Class performance at the age of 15 years old. I think Diana’s voice dropped 2 octaves in between 14 and 15 years old. She has had voice training since she was around 5-6 years old. Her version of Ah ha’s “Take on me” is very beautiful too. I could listen to anything she sings because the tone of her voice is so fascinatingly beautiful.

Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human.
First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich.
Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World.
Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below)
When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune.
And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in seven billion.

From what I have been able to gather from translated info from people, Diana was abused and beaten as a very young child, then abandoned by her mother at the age of 4yo. She was sent to an orphanage where a wonderful woman who was a carer there, officially adopted Diana. She is shown briefly in this clip. When Diana was once in the orphanage, she wouldn't speak at all, still being so traumatised. Part of her therapy was learning to sing, which brought her out and showed her personality for the first time in her life. She loved to sing and at 6yo performed on local stages, with other girls. At 10 she did her first professional recording and filmed it in a studio, singing Oh Darling (Beatles cover) . On Russian tv there was a show called You Are Super, similar to the Voice, but was created for orphaned and disadvantage children. This clip is her debut on the show at 14yo, and this voice (a contralto) emerged on the scene. She performs Rechenka (The River) an updated version of a classic Slavic folk song, often sung at weddings, about a parentless girl calling the Spirit of the River, to advise her what to do in her new marriage to come, if she she does not love the man.
