Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion.

Stunning is truly the only word I can come up with.
That was a dramatic contralto which is the rarest female voice type. Diana can also generate harmonic overtones and undertones. Bear in mind, in this performance she was 18 (September 2021), she will turn 20 at the end of May - her voice will not fully mature for another 5-10 years.
I may sound over the top but i will still say that she is the best female vocalist right now and with a huge margin from the rest.
You saw this performance of hers "Can't help falling in love" and you might think that this was her highlight... no she is so consistent with her extreme vocal and performing qualities that personally i would straggle to put "Can't help falling in love" even in her top 10.
I can really say that it is not possible, I repeat, it is not possible to determine which song is the best, including the songs she wrote and composed! The reason is that every time we discover a higher level than the previous song! Her artistic talent with her special singing makes us feel that we are in a magical world that Diana created for us. Today there is not a single singer in the world who is close to Diana's level, not even Dimash who I think is a light year away from Diana
Diana’s ‘I can’t help falling in love’ was my first experience with her incredible talent. I can still remember my reaction: goosebumps, chills, I was mesmerised, couldn’t breathe and was silently crying. I watched it a couple of times more.
After this I still wanted more! Watched ‘Wicked Game’ and was completely blown away. Again. I can say that since then I am a super fan and watch and listen to her every day.

Well, you fell into a deep rabbit hole. The last I read, Diana now has over 4 octave range. Her voice is beyond classification. Most comfortable range is Contralto (lowest and rarest female voice type) yet she sings soprano as well. Blessed with extraordinary physical gifts for singing ( longer thicker vocal cords, larger longer lyrenx and exceptional harmonic overtones/ undertones and resonators. Sings almost every genre of music from opera to rap. I appreciate the Era and time that a person from halfway around the world can listen to this exceptional young talented Lady. Bravo Diana.

Yes, this was a competition where the judges are also the performers. Diana has done quite a few competitions and won most of them. I'm not sure if she won this one. My recommendation for the next song by her would be Rechenka (The River), a Russian folk song she sang in competition at age 13 or 14. Yes, she won!
She certainly won this show. This was the first episode (she won easily), she also won on overall points after the 9 episode season was over.

Please, for yourself, watch video to end to get the judges comments, well worth it. Are in Russian with English subtitles. Also by Diana ( i think is Dee-anna ) -- 'Dernier Danse' and 'Rechenka' -- are in French and Russian respectively -- Do not need lyrics to experience the emotions being portrayed by Diana. Then - in English - 'Wicked Game' and 'Human'.

I would recommend that you go back to 14yr old "Deeana" "Rechenka" then "Wicked Game" a year later. She was 18 in this first round performance competing against 9 pro singers who had to judge each other. Her performance of "The Crow" is stunning.
The trick to pronounce her name is to stress the middle syllables, AH and DEE. In fact, if you pronounce her last name as Uncle-DEEno-vuh, you'll be close enough.
Diana participated on a competition with other SINGERS/JUDGES…she was only able to choose two this one ☝🏽 and “PERSONAL JESUS”. She’s definitely unique in her polyphonic contralto low tones as a 18’ year old female. The SHOW MASK GO ON had some AMAZING PERFORMANCES by BEAUTIFUL DIANA. I’ve been a fan for five years now and her vocal range will STUN any REACTOR. She recently performed on the MASKED SINGER a cover of “SWEET DREAMS” and like this one she creates her own music reality. She has continually improved her beautifully divine high notes as well on the “Fly on the wings of wind” ARIA cover. The clips by “KOR” are for reactors so I don’t think there’s a copyright risk. Hi, Diana is a Russian singer born in the far east of the country (a couple of hundred miles from Vladivostok). In this performance from September 2021, she was 18 - she will turn 20 at the end of May this year. This show is called "ShowMaskGoOn" and it's not a talent show - 9 singers were invited to sing 9 different songs, in different genres, over the 9 week run of the show - the singers then critiqued and marked each other, along with a different guest judge each week. Diana was by far the youngest and eventually came first.
If you want to continue with Diana, it might be best to start when she first came to prominence aged 14. But, there are some performances which are now only available from unofficial sources. It can be confusing to those who do not know. We can't tell them to only use videos from Diana's channel, then give them links to other sources.

I treat myself to a Diana evening twice a week. I'm almost 70 years old and have always been a tough guy, but Diana has a voice like from another planet. Plus the charisma. I have to cry every time, the tears just come. She probably captivates every person with empathy, no matter what song she sings. In addition, she is beautiful.

This was her first competition as an adult, which she won. The judges were the other competitors. Other favorites from this show are "The Crow" and "Personal Jesus". This morning she released a live performance of "Havana", though I like the in home version she did during quarantine better. She usually doesn't sing this high in her range. But as good as her singing is, her life story is more amazing. Diana was the youngest of ten kids, and the only one to survive. At one time her mother had tried to drown her. At 3½ she was abandoned at a bus stop with a broken collar bone in the middle of a Russian winter. She was placed in a foster home, where the physical therapist first saw her. The daughter of the therapist fell in love with Diana, and told her mother that if she didn't adopt Diana, then when she turned 18 in a few months she would. She the therapist adopted Diana. Diana had problems with her speech, but loved to sing, so they started her on singing lessons to improve her speech, and the rest is history. Diana was still having nightmares that her mother would come and take her back, so her adoptive mother moved her far away to Moscow. At 13 Diana auditioned for The Voice Kids Russia, but when she sang "Yodel Time" none of the Judges turned around, though the audience gave her a standing ovation. They had her sing a second song, which song she chose was in French, but it was too late. The show received thousands of complaints, but the rules couldn't be changed. A year later Diana was invented to sing on a show just for orphans and disadvantaged children, which she won, and was invited back the next year for a champions edition, which she also won.
Уточню.Нет,не психотерапевт удочерил,а массажист.Увезли Диану не в Москву,а в другой город.В Москву она переехала позже. После победы на конкурсе ей подарил квартиру в Москве Игорь Крутой.Сейчас она живёт и учится в Москве.

@@Annuir И Диану отдали не в приемную семью, а в детский дом, откуда ее забрала эта женщина -массажист и удочерила ее. А дочка этой женщины просто первая обратила внимание на вечно плачущую маленькую Диану. О десяти детях тоже впервые слышу. Вот так и рождаются легенды. Представляю, какие небылицы ходят по Интернету про Диану среди иностранных блогеров.
