      @@KarimMuhammed2001 First it was not just a female but a mother and her young 3 for 1 and the small wildebeest was half the size of an adult male. A male cheetah can never in 1 vs 1 take the wildebeest male or female. We ignore the fact that the cheetah does not take much larger prey than its size, its usual prey is deer of the same weight. So 4 times its size a wildebeest would easily be able to kill a cheetah. I doubt Cheetah's ability to kill Gonak, a prey that is only twice the size of Cheetah. Sometimes you find a deer by running away or killing a cheetah

    • @tetsuwasabi2546
      @tetsuwasabi2546 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I just asked myself the same question. It would be ironic, because when it would affect the cheetah's speed, it would lower the chances of a successful hunt and therefore of survival, which would be contraproductive for the actual intend of these collars. But I don't even know if these collars are actually for maintaining the species or just for data *or* for something completely else.

    • @Jdjfbficjenenwk3736
      @Jdjfbficjenenwk3736 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@tetsuwasabi2546 right. Because I know on a huge lion they, while very fast, aren’t going at highway speeds and drastic accelerations like a cheetah. Plus lions are much bulkier and muscle-bound than cheetahs. But almost every aspect of the cheetah’s anatomy is designed and evolved for quick speed and agility even in midair. So when you have a bulky uneven object protruding from its neck, there’s no way it’s benefiting the cheetah’s speed hunting performance or balance.
      I mean there’s a reason that the claws on a cheetah never retract back into their paws.

    Awesome, really Thank you, however might it be possible to also include after the slow-mow version a full speed version? -OR- am I mistaken and this entire video was shown at full speed? If feels as if it was not. It will provide a worthwhile perspective of such an event. OK, well hopefully you will consider doing so in the future. Thank you.

    RIP Wildebeest you gave your life for a great purpose, the cycle of life continues. Many who believe in reincarnation, believe souls continue to rebirth as another species or the same species, this wildebeest could be reborn as a cheetah and vice versa very interesting way to think.

    This is impressive. She has guts and she is really good at hunting. Male coalitions are known to take down adult wildebeest but i have not yet seen a female cheetah succeed.
    She falls, somersaults and just gets up and succeeds. Where she gets the strength to get him down to fall on his side so she can get to his windpipe is beyond me. Also she has managed to bring up 3 cubs to almost adulthood. Just shows how good she is.
