I remember visiting my brother in Anchorage Alaska 15 years ago. He bought me this album and I loved the living hell out of it. Till this day I still remember those two weeks back in my hometown whenever I listen to this album.
Being from Alaska myself, I have seen them live many times. Also was at the Grand opening of the Alaska airlines for the Howlapaloooza Event. Was a glorious day. Get elbowed in the face in the mosh pit hahaha
I had these guys on posters beside Trivium and Slipknot, but they we're always underrated for a Road Runner Records band - this mix doesn't sound as good as the version on the album Having been a fan of these guys since 2002, its incredible how unique they re and that it still hits hard today.

My high school soccer coach was friends with Brock and was The Dude on KWHL 😅 every single home game for 4 years I heard this album blasting in the locker room

James Paul Wisner was the producer for this album, alongside guitarist Steve Holt. Their collaborative production quality was most likely responsible for that awesome snare drum sound.

Still one of my top 5 favorite bands...seen em 2 times at chilkoot Charlie's in Anchorage alaska...I'm from southeast go up to Bristol bay every year and on the way back always checking to see if thee guys are plying, one of the best live shows ever!!!!
Saw them about a week ago too at the Thekla, Bristol. It was mental! First started listening to them 10 years ago when I was 17. It's been a long wait but they did not disappoint! Definitely feel they deserved to do better but quite glad (selfishly) they didn't as perhaps it kept their music more real. As in making music they like and for themselves, not to make money because they got big and sold out.
I cant even put into words my love for this band, Brock gave me some insane inspirational advice years back and its sat with me since. This band is so fucking underrated and looked over. This band is so talented. Lets not overlook the fact that they have my boy Bruce Leroy in their music video!!!
