Gridiron's stuff is awesome. I wish I had bought two Vamps. I bought one Vamp and one Stinger. Good video. Gridiron Studios has great stuff. There is also Pixis Designs. They also have great snap-on custom pieces for the Vamp and Stinger. They're also a nit more affordable. Just letting people know.
@@stevenboyd3756 absolutely agree with you on pixis designs. Great products with original design concepts for more affordable price than most anything gridiron produces. I've had gridiron products break on me in the past and with everything that I purchased from pixies nothing has ever failed me.
I don't plan to go broke on toys. I'd rather have more of whats coming than spice up what is already made. The Vamp really does need a little extra to make it less bland. The Stinger less so just because it has more style. GIS is just more style for a hefty price tag. It all depends on how people value their money... GIS makes wicked stuff and a lot of people want it. I want to have more money and basic vehicles I guess. I don't see how anyone here loses.
I agree with you on the price I picked up a few other parts of the vamp and easily started over everything for what I use it for so yeah I'm out on these
If I wasn't interested in other vehicles, then I might consider GI add ons. But when you add all that up, I'd rather buy the 1/10 scale RC HG Humvee. It is $550 shipped if you score it from the right place.
I'm not going to lie. I honestly thought the vamp was a halo warthog at first. They closely resemble each other, but with their respective differences. The vamp is multi-purpose, same as the halo warthog. Both look awesome in my opinion.
I completely agree with you on the inflated price I do 3D print stuff as well and I know it's a lot of time and effort for design and printing for what you get some of the stuff I received from them did start warping and breaking over time
Instead of producing 500+$ worth of add ons for other peoples vehicles, why don't they make an actual toy vehicle out of plastic instead of stinky resin add ons that no doubt warp like their rifles do. Accessories and add-ons shouldn't cost more than the toy...
It's a fair argument, but Gridiron isn't big enough of a company. They utilized in-house 3d printers. I'm hoping they take their business to the next level to get their product produced over sea to lower the cost as well as take the product to the next level (i.e., rubber tires)
@@JohnnyRetro-yw5mc That's what kickstarters are for, many successful companies come out of nothing with that platform and Gridiron has proven highly detailed sculpts that look great, so they already have examples of their work and ability to deliver.
@@curseoffenrir A Kickstarter is a great idea, but they're going to need more then 3d printers IMO. They will still need to get rubber tires and probably figure out how to manufacture out of China. I still think the hop ups for the vamp and stingers are a homerun! But yes, to your point. a Kickstarter would be cool too!
Hasbro keeps making terrible decisions about their exclusives. Every Classified collector will want a Vamp but Hasbro just had to make things difficult. I have to live with FOMO, not knowing if I'll ever be able to get a Ferret. A basic vehicle like that should be readily available.
I actually ordered every upgrade since the recon one was limited and you need to get those as they don’t mention when they get low. I already have the wheels so I only had to order the cannon and ground pound accessory, Gridiron always makes the best items and if you haven’t checked, Operation: Monster Force is coming which Gridiron is making the weapons for, it will help you forget about the horrible Hasbro and Action Force weapons.
I won't your wife if you don't tell mine! 😉 🤣 the tanks in a few of my videos to compare sizes (it's a 6th scale tank). I'm going to be doing a video soon comparing it to my new 6th scale hot toys 89 batmobile!
I just looked at my Gridiron Studios account, I dropped 420 dollars on upgrades. I still need a missile system for the Stinger and maybe the front end guard as well. I quit drinking years ago this money would have went to the bar now its going to a better place.
I'm nuts, my VAMP has tires, In a Clutch gun with case, roll cage, front guard, recon roof w/ doors and a custom back step. I ordered tires and APC for the Stinger yesterday, I love this stuff. I didnt order the gun for the Stinger, he told me on Facebook they have a missile system coming for APC.

Yes, pix is another great company! I'm a bit partial to GIS!

Hell to the naw naw naw for paying more than the vehicle itself but the stuff does look AMAZING!
Lol, I said the same thing, but here I am going screw it! 🤣
Sorry, but no way will I spend twice as much as the vehicle for an "upgrade" not worth it. These gridiron prices are simply too much.
The items are not cheaply made at all, they are same if not better quality than the VAMP itself. The prices are set high because the value is there.
It's the only way to be profitable

Very cool add ons, but being in Canada I get hit with higher shipping and duty on top of the price that just makes this outside of my price range.
I'm with you on that

I'm sure the right 3d printer could convert it to the warthog! Lol!
Gridiron is simply killing the game, I will definitely be purchasing that Ground Pounder for my Stinger
Just taking our money is what they're doing! 😂
They do nice work but they lose me on their pricing.
It's just too damn inflated
I completely agree with you on the inflated price I do 3D print stuff as well and I know it's a lot of time and effort for design and printing for what you get some of the stuff I received from them did start warping and breaking over time
I ordered one, that way I can have one that looks different

Hasbro needs to hire them.
Now that's an idea!

I bought many of their mission packs and character loadouts, SGT Slaughters is great. The Alley Viper gear is too cool.
Gridiron gets a lot of my money. A lot. Don’t tell the wife. 😳 Is there a video on that tank behind you? Thanks!

It's insane the money you can drop with them!
LOL, That's debatable!
You've traded one vice for another!
