    Being from New England, the places you guys get to ride just amaze me. That trail, if it existed at all here, would be a locked down ‘hikers only’ don’t step off the trail or it’s jail time type trail.
    I dream to someday get out there and spend an entire summer on my bike.

      @Robert Brown I know we have it good. When I hear about the struggles and limitations of riders in other areas I really try to apricate what I have here.

      @@brandongardner3073 It sounds like it's irrelevant at this point...but congratulations on being the embodiment of the reason your regulations are the way they are. We should all be riding where it's legal and adopting a "leave no trace" type attitude to preserve the sport.

      I don't agree with doing it illegally but Aus is 7.7 million km/s. It feels like we are legally only allowed to use 0.1% of the bush/forest and if we choose to have Dirtbiking as a hobby the bike costs us $450 a year to register. The problem over here is 4WD's get into good areas and immediately start using it to dump rubbish, chop down trees and dig ruts the size of a jumbo jet because they have no clutch control skills with their fat feet instead they over-compensate with massive tyres and bigger turbo's. Most guys want to have fun, ride safe and leave nothing but a tyre outline in the dirt behind them.

    I like the Michelin Bib Mouse feels like 6 psi. Just spooned on a IRC VE33S. My second ride on it this afternoon thinking i am going to really like this tire. My go to winter tire tire is the Ibex with a UHD tube at 4psi. That trail was nice

    • @PNWEnduro

      VE33S is my go-to tire now!

    Great vid, as always. Rode this trail, for the first time, last week(intermediate rider) it was an Awesome adventure ( 4.5 hrs ) (my buddy slipped into the creek passing), Cheers!

    Awesome vid, that trail looked sick! Never tried a mousse before.. I run a heavy duty tube at 8psi rear and 11psi front👌

    • @PNWEnduro
      @PNWEnduro  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I ran HD tubes for years as well. Once I switched to Mousses I'll never go back. Not having to worry about getting a flat out in the middle of nowhere is a good feeling.

    I have 60 hrs on nitro mousse standard foam running IRC ve33 on rear and Bridgestone x30 up front on a ktm 300 xcw. Right now the front feels about 10-11 and rear 9-10. Still feels like I have a lot of life to go on them.
    Great video! Looks like a fun trail too.

  • @endurophutwick489
    @endurophutwick489 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cool trail, and a cool video, too! I recycle the mousses that I use in Baja over the winter and run them all summer in the mountains. I start with a standard Nitro mousses, put about 50 hours of hard desert riding on them on a 501 four stroke, then transfer them to my 300. The rear is still a bit firmer than I would like, probably about a 10 psi feeling. Same for the front, about 10 psi, but that's about where I want it.

    That's some sweet trail, very much like what I ride out here on Vancouver Island. What resolution do you upload at to get such stellar quality?

    • @PNWEnduro
      @PNWEnduro  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1080p/30fps. Video quality on YT, particularly action cam stuff has more to do with the codecs YT plays your videos in VP09 or avc1. I've only raced on the island, need to get over there to ride sometime.

      @@PNWEnduro cool thanks for the info, seems like my Hero 8 footage all goes to shit as soon as it is uploaded to YT. Maybe I have to capture at a higher bitrate.
      Eh, when you come out we take take you to a ton of nice single track. :D

    OMG, you are so lucky, nothing like that in the U.K. I have a Michelin mousse, 46 hours and 3 years old, still good ! I have a 300 xc tpi, can u tell me what fork settings you use, I’m using 5 clicks on comp and rebound at the bottom of the range, 136 psi, I’m 85kgs and it feels a lot better, not so harsh as the standard settings.

    • @PNWEnduro
      @PNWEnduro  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rebound 6-8 clicks compression 22 out 120 psi. My forks have stock valving and an skf glide kit.

      Yes, people are going to ride. Government takes places away and people will still find a way to ride. We are lucky to have a lot of good, legal places around here.

      @@stephen5665 And what's funny is the dirtbike single-track tends to be better for the environment than hiking trails. Less wear and tear, less littering, etc.
