Hey Doug since you’re kinda back at it in a way, it would be such a tremendous honor for you to do a longer lighting workflow video. Mainly on the live part. I’ve watched your videos since I was very young, and now in my adult age I’m wanting to replicate the live scenes your LD does, but even after slowing down clips and trying to rationalize how he is doing some hits boggles my mind. A workflow video on the titan showing some live playback to some tracks with your LD would be such a huge help in my career. It would answer a lot of unanswered questions I have just by seeing him (or you) do the lighting live on the board and seeing what you hit, slide, where and when.
Thank you for sharing your first impressions of the T3. We (Kulturfabrik, Luxembourg) work with a Quartz with a handle (and of course touchscreen) and I am quite comfortable with it more than with the Grand MA (used only someone rents it), but: - For a guy who wears progressive glasses, WHITE COLOR is much easier to work with in his peripheral vision (he knows how difficult it can be to push buttons and play static playbacks while looking at the stage) than COLOR BLACK. - Yes. Logos are good for nothing unless they have contrasting colors! But they are still useless! MORE STATIC PLAYBACKS would be more useful, as virtual playbacks don't work in fast light shows (the multi-touch screen is also unreliable). But, I know I don't have the engineering knowledge to build these consoles, but I'm sure Avo asked some Light Techs / LD how to upgrade their good quality If I worked for Avolites, the T3 would have the bottom half with static playbacks and the top... whatever the engineers could fit in.
this is correct, full usb midi control support, although I know some people were using legit midi cables for legit midi signal for some interesting things, although maybe they were only doing that as a workaround back in the day before avo supported usb midi
Less static playbacks so I need to re-think and re-model my muscle memory standard for programming my busking layout. And in addition to this there is not enough room for me to put labelling tape underneath the macro keys. I don't even understand why the chose to offset the mask keys from the rotary encoders?
The parameter keys were moved to the right so that they have the same layout as the D9 As for the fewer static playbacks, yup I agree it's a big bummer. I don't use tape on my titan mobile so I didn't consider that there is no space under the statics for tape, but that's totally true and also a bummer in your case
How do I Install this? My church just got one but I’m not sure which version of the software I need to download on the computer. There’s already a version of Titan running on the mac but doesn’t the T3 board need a different piece of software to run/turn on whenever I connect the board to the Mac via USB-C? Please help
As far as I know Avolites Titan is not supported on mac, so you would need to do something to get windows running on the mac and then go from there The vast majority of lighting software is not supported on mac, I would strongly advise getting a separate windows computer to avoid any potential glitches
With the included cables, there is about an inch gap to not put stress on the connector I used another cable I have which is more low profile and was able to have them touching side by side
It does have the flip out feet, shown at 5:13 in the video I don't think it's a no-brainer upgrade if you have a titan mobile already, but I do think the main appeal is the size and weight, at least for me. And the cost too. So in my situation I've always wanted the console + Wing in one small case, and now this is an affordable option to do that easily. I'll probably keep my original titan mobile for quite some time given the 20 static playbacks, for super small jobs where there's no space for the fader wing, but we'll see
I agree in general the lighting console market is frustrating in terms of hardware vs the audio console market when you see what they get at given price points. however, i do appreciate the price reduction here compared to the original titan mobile. definitely a move in the right direction
I’m glad you’re back

i was lucky enough to be able to see this console in person a week or two ago, great vid tho!
I am pretty sure the T3 unlocks USB-MIDI for the TitanGo anyways so a physical MIDI port is not necessary
this is correct, full usb midi control support, although I know some people were using legit midi cables for legit midi signal for some interesting things, although maybe they were only doing that as a workaround back in the day before avo supported usb midi
why they went to black? the titan mobile looks so much better! give us the white one with backlight keys

colleague, wow- so nice content!I'll be back,🖖
been a while.
is it possible to set the t3 and the faderwing right next to eatch other?
With the included cables, there is about an inch gap to not put stress on the connector
I used another cable I have which is more low profile and was able to have them touching side by side

In Titan Mobile we have 20 Workspaces Macros & Executors personalizable buttons Vs T3 only have 12 😪
Yep, I talk about that at 13:58 in the video, and again later on when I talk about pricing
dose the T3 have a kick stand built in?
It has flip out feet, shown at 5:13 in the video
@@dougberry4674 thanks it looks like it’s gonna to need them.
Is the Martin Audio iK42 amp worth it?
How much price
Check out 18:10 in the video
would the faders work better than all the shit faders that has always carried all avolites titan consoles?
only time will tell, I don't actually remember/know if these faders are a new part or the same as the original titan mobile
More video pls!!!!!
Good Video
so, its black, and got fewer execute buttons and no kickstand? I rather keep my old one=)
It does have the flip out feet, shown at 5:13 in the video

Pretty poor at that price point, especially when Allen & Heath can put a lot more processing and motorised faders in an SQ5 for not much more.
