Never thought this would sound so good in Nightcore version
The young Queen, who left her own castle to avoid everything in it. Her status, her wealth, and her family. It was the middle of winter as she stormed out the kingdom walls, feeling betrayed by the King. All she wanted was a place to quiet down.
Her heart was thus frozen like the winter ice, her hopes fell like the winter snow. All of a sudden the ground beneath her revealed a large gorge as she tumbled down on accident, unconscious.
The former Queen was then woken up by a voice of a young man. ‘Hey, wake up...’ the man soon took her to his hideout to warm her up by his campfire, where both shared their stories to get to know each other. The Queen was happy to have such a kind and loving person as a companion.
Winter passed as Spring came. The young Queen lived her life as a normal girl, learning hunting tricks as she mastered her bow skills quickly. She rode, fought, explored almost every part of the forest.
One morning when she was at home while the man was outside preparing firewood, four guards stormed in the hideout, demanding for the Queen. She ran, but they saw her as they began to chase after her. The Queen stopped herself at the edge of the cliff. She turned back to see them surrounded the inland. There’s no turning back.
‘My love...’ a few men made way as the King appeared on his horse, ‘come to me...’
‘I am not, and never’ll be your love.’ She spat.
‘Well if you don’t cherish them might as well...’ the King’s smile vanished, as he signalled the guards to push her off the cliff. In the meantime, the man arrived, traumatised at her falling from the edge. With that, the men rejoined with the King, then slowly left the man crying.
All of a sudden, a figure shot up and aimed an arrow at the King’s heart. He collapsed, sending his army fleeing. The man rejoiced as he found the Queen safe and sound. ‘He broke my heart, it is time now for me to mend mine.’

So.. I listened to this song a LOT when I was like 9.. And I thought I knew what stress was- but NOW.. Now I know the meaning.
All the good memories of the past, all the friends you had.. All the happiness you'd gain.. All the time you'd keep going, not knowing what to expect, but still laughing and smiling, it was perfect..
