It hurts my heart to see the condition that the people in St Elizabeth are experiencing after the passing of hurricane Beryl and the government has not given the assistance needed to help them get back on their feet. Sometimes i have to wonder , where is the love for our country men, parliamentarians have gotten millions of dollars for their raise of salary but the government cannot find money to help the poor who can hardly help themselves , this is sickening.
Let's not bash the Government so quickly, because we all know that every government always move slower than a one-man team, even when the residents are in desperate need.

I cannot say enough to what Colaz is doing. Saint Elizabeth is my parish, and lower and upper Burnt Ground is torn up. I understand there’s no power or internet services. No politicians or government people or on the ground. Road are blocked and the community have to be taking matters in their hand and clearing the road. It hurts my heart to see the condition that the people in St Elizabeth are experiencing after the passing of hurricane Beryl and the government has not given the assistance needed to help them get back on their feet. Sometimes i have to wonder , where is the love for our country men, parliamentarians have gotten millions of dollars for their raise of salary but the government cannot find money to help the poor who can hardly help themselves , this is sickening.
Let's not bash the Government so quickly, because we all know that every government always move slower than a one-man team, even when the residents are in desperate need.
@@user-ys3fr1jm3w It's not about bashing the Government, if you are a military man then you would understand the concept .We should already have known the possible destruction that a Hurricane can cause so the anticipated resources that the affected residents would need can be easily sourced and stored until the passing of the storm or Hurricane and the dispatchment of resources should begin after a day of assessment.
