  • Hello my gorgeous people, sorry it's been too long since my last video and I have missed being here. Anyway that's me back with a chat about the fab collagen supplements that I take to help (please god!) maintain a youthful, ageless skin. I have honestly tried several collagen supplements before I tried the amazing Edible Health brand - and I was never quite happy with the ingredient list on all of them until I discovered this brand. If you fancy trying the brand - I know they give a discount on signing up to their emails. Please let me know how you are all keeping and what you think about these supplements, Love and light to you all. Joanie 💛🌈💕

    Hey my lovelies, hope you enjoy this video about collagen supplements. Now the truth is I have been off having a hernia op in hospital and all went well. The doctor and nurses were outstanding and it made me realise once again how important it is for us all to appreciate the care given in our hospitals. ❤ It has been over 2 1/2 weeks since my op and I am feeling very well and full of energy again. General anaesthetics take around a couple of weeks to clear my own system I feel. Hope you are all looking after yourselves, taking your Vitamin D3 supplements and eating nutritious food. Love and hugs to you all and thank you so much for being here on my channel with your support. 😘💛🌈💕

    Hi Joanie i bought the Bovine Collagen after watching ur vlog the other day. I have notice my skin on my body starting to wrinkle in certain areas especially my neck. Plus my hair is starting to get a little thin of itself and joints a little stiff. So started taking this collagen today, would you think a month or 2 months before i would notice a change? Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

      Hey Gillian, I think you will see a difference in a month but in two months time you should feel less stiff. It really is the way to go as we get older and there are loads of clinical trials proving it now. Let me know how you get on. 😘😊💛🌈

    I'm not a animal eater. More of a vegetarian. I do eat fish. I use sunscreen n I really keep out of the sun. I don't want anything related to animal supplements. I like plant collagen, but is it enough???? Help me sister, I need to know. What do u recommend?????

    • @Joanieloves
      @Joanieloves  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Jaynie, unfortunately you cannot get collagen from plants - only animals and I will include fish in this. Hence the reason I am talking about Marine Collagen which is collagen peptides from fish and this is real collagen supplements. However you can use 'collagen boosters' eg Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Vitamin C and amino acids which help to boost collagen production. But the truth is Collagen Boosters are Not Collagen Supplements. I can only truly recommend Marine Collagen personally as that is what I take. 😊💛

      Ok sweetheart. I guess I'm just going to go down with the ship. I can't do smoothies, I can't afford them. How else could I use the marine collagen???? In tea or in juice????

      I put a teaspoonful into a glass of organic coconut water and that helps to make it into a nice drink. Also I scoop pea protein powder (banana flavoured) into same glass and it makes it like a milk shake! 😊💛

    Is the coconut water good for you as well? Or just a preference. I know one collagen supplement i tried. Yes sugar. Trouble with me is sugar makes me feel good. Had a sweet tooth as long as I can remember. My teeth have suffered (yeah not good) but the collagen i tried, yeah i did not feel good about 4 days into it. Have Multiple sclerosis that complicated matters, the medication is fattening Pregabalin, if you can find something else. I put 2 stones on, took years for a Dr was honest with me and the amount i was told to take he said i wasn't overweight lol. Sorry tanget. The water 💧 coconut? XxX ❤❤❤

      Hey Angela, nice to hear from you again. I like coconut water but it has to be a good one like the 'Rebel' brand. 💯 Coconut water is good for you as it contains electrolytes eg. potassium which is great for heart health, contains magnesium, sodium and phosphorus which aid in muscle recovery. It's also low calorie! I too have a sweet tooth and I believe it helps me with that to reduce my sweet craving. So worth a try for you! Sorry to hear again about your MS and I know medication puts the weight on. Not easy for you darling! Love Joanie 😘 xxx

    I’m 47 and I’ve noticed in the last few months the lines under my eyes when I smile have become quite prevalent. Is there anything I can do or purchase to help reduce the lines or is there nothing you can do once you’re at this stage? X

    • @Joanieloves
      @Joanieloves  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Georgia, 47 ...... still a young thing! 😊 You know you say that when you smile the lines have become quite prevalent - but know that is the same for all of us. We can't help having lines when we smile. What you should do is keep that area moisturised and that helps 'plump' the outer layer of skin in order that the lines look less deep. Also moisturising protects the skin around that area. So make sure you are using a good eye cream AM and PM - look for one that has vitamin A (retinol, retinoids) and always were big sunglasses when outside so that you don't squint.
      Finally sunscreen on top is the final step to ensuring that the UV rays aren't breaking the collagen up. Hope this helps. 😘💛

      I'm 59 you're so young, a good moisturiser helps i use different kinds. Switching helps me. But we are all different. We all have lines when we smile. I'm lucky my using something for a couple of years really helps. I'm on an Argeraline kick actually long time, and Matrixyl. The ordinary ones i buy from beauty Bay. All different though. XxX ❤
