Hey bc fisherman majors I’m looking to start pink salmon fishing this year and I was wondering what pound test rod would be the best for pink salmon? And size reel would be the best for pink salmon
My question for you guys when using the tasmanian devils. The 14 gram one seems so light when using my 8 foot med spinning rod with braid. Are you guys using a snap shot weight near the swivel/mono to get a better cast?
@BCFishingMajors I'm thinking my 7 foot blank spinning rod (med action) is gonna be too small to cast a 14g tassie no? I totally get what your saying though!
Love you guys and everything but I doubt you can identity them for sure while they are thrashing around. You should use a net first instead of pulling them onto the rocks.
Can you please go showcase more spots and have those clogged up with every father, child, aunt and uncle? Like great spots on the Vedder. Go find some. Take your cameras, get lots of great footage. Then the next time you go there, you can't find a spot to fish. Then you can ask yourself why that is the case. Then you can ask yourself if it was worth it. Does YT pay that well? Maybe you like guys fishing in your back pocket or crossing your line. Like the stress of needing to go to a spot at 4am because there will be 400 guys on the beach? Smart fisherman don't advertise spots. I'll leave it at that. Something to ponder.
To be fair Ambleside is a very popular spot and no secret, everyone knows about fishing here and there other videos aren't showcasing any secret spots nor do they show how to get there. Now I don't like fishing shoulder to shoulder just as much as you but there's lots of spots with little to nobody there, just gotta find them. Now if they were exposing those types of fishing spots and showing how to get there thats a different story. Enjoy the fishing content or don't watch at all, this gives people who want to get into fishing an opportunity to learn and see what to do. Everyone deserves to experience the joy of fishing as much as we do.

Any fisherman with 1/2 a brain doesn't advertise spots. Show any freeloader where it's easy to catch fish and be assured the next time you go to the spot there will be shoulder to shoulder lemmings who watched a video and saw you just show up and it's just like in the video. The only reason you advertise fishing spots is because you want subscribers. There won't be any spots where you aren't shoulder to shoulder if these guys have their way. I laugh though that the freeloaders who want to be spoon fed where to fish and where to place their feet will go to this place and realize there are no fish. Might take a few times out to figure it out. But hey, these guys got the views. How exciting is that? I just want them to showcase their favorite spots. Sadly you can't have it both ways. Check out the Vedder. Wonder why it's so? Videos! Let's show all the spots and all the hot action! I personally would take no pride in spoonfeeding lazy people on where to fish and show them how many fish I caught. I guess we need to wait for TH-cam revenue sharing to make it less appealing to share everything there is out there. The classic race to the bottom. If we don't show people then the next guy will.

No weight should be added to tazzie, gonna affect how it swims… just gotta have a longer and softer rod😅😅

Main line swivel, then leader with hook slide devil on to your leader. Tight lines🎣
