Muay thai is the best striking art.
My hand is injured for a week now. Can barely pick up anything with it.
Never stopped training nonetheless. Still have 7 sharp weapons on me. But the reflex is "oh, he's only got one hand... he's fucked".

For real though, as a jiu jitsu guy most striking styles don't scare me, but you muay thai fuckers are something else.
@@milesrome7295 I'm still a jiu jitsu guy myself. Just was very lucky to meet a pro trainer and became friend with him, and now he's teaching me every week. Just like when I started bjj, I would say "I could kill myself a month ago easilly..." Now it's the same but for stand up. Also, muay thai is the closest to bjj you'll get in terms of striking art: you wouldn't believe the details with foot placement and all. It's absolutely a brilliant art. And people doing it tend to be just as friendly as bjj practitioner are. My coach is a former Jean-Charles Skarbowsky student, so I'm a lucky bastard.
I can’t even count how many kicks was thrown by Thais fighters cuz l was in pain jst looking at it

@@KurtMCox unless you've never went into full detail on how that kick is thrown and the complexity behind it, you can't say that, plus it's not ONE kick, it's an art of eight limbs, also the most deadly striking combat system by a long shot.

How to counter this kick?
It's difficult but you can catch it different ways
Just like to block any other kick or catch it or dodge it, i would be afraid to block an itf taekwondo kick tho they produce more power and speed than muay thai

@@westernvibes1267 maybe with spinning kicks but Muay Thaï roundhouse kicks are way more powerful than tkd kicks.
You can counter by muay thai elbow to this kick. I think there are no roundhouse kicks to break the solid of angles.
Why is nong in this list.. the on who took kickes was like it was his training session
