Same, the successor to the Pro 2 (call it Pro 3) should have the following specs: - Front fork suspension or dual suspension (front & back) - 2x 2w front headlights (one at the top, one underneath - Redesigned rear mud flap but the mud flap should be thicker like the Inmotion L9's one - increase the range from 45km to 65-70km range (like the Ninebot Max) - Tail light is larger on the Pro 2 but can be slightly bigger - 3x durability on 8.5" inch tyres sounds good but the next one should step it up to 9" inch or 10" inch tubeless tyres - Battery capacity should be above around 15.2ah or more (similar to Ninebot Max's range) - 350w motor for the front, or go for dual 300w motor - dual-brake levers (German Pro 2 version has it) - Dual mechanical disc brakes can work only if you need to increase the motor live span & less reliance on regen brakes - Slightly larger body work to accommodate the improvements I said above Perhaps a brand new design for the Mi e-scooter Pro 3? Should be more like the Ninebot T15 design hehe! 🛴😁
Really do not understand for what these scooters are without proper suspension. They Are hell and I mean HELL to ride on any surface other than smooth. Any imperfections or pavement- and you are done. Bicycles are so much more safe and comfy to ride all around.
@@gtone339 - For the range and the battery the problem is the weight and the price ... it's another product (and more expensive) -Tubeless are a bit useless they only flat slower -Ninebot T15 is not a good product only 2kg less than a m365 , half of the range, battery in the tube (less stable), and too expensive (the price is like the G30 max) but yes the design is very cool

Funny story, somehow mine got switched to eco mode (green light is turned on) and I had no idea why it was struggling in the uphill ride. Took me 2 months to figure that out. Good scooter, using it for about 3 years (infrequently) for short commutes (office to parking :P).
Since this new version finally meets the requirements of german road regulation laws, I‘d consider it an substantial upgrade. (if you live in Germany). I have been waiting for this for more than a year!
You did not mention that the new ECU contacts has been reinforced with an extra layer of tin in order to prevent overheating, which is something people had to do manually with the old model. All of this will be fundamental for those people who decide to use a custom firmware that will stress the ecu with more current drain.
Here in Germany two independent brake levers are mandatory or it’s not street legal. So they added a second one that ONLY activates the electric front wheel brake. Pretty nice to regenerate some extra energy. It’s my first scooter and I love it. Front suspension And/or rear wheel drive would have been awesome but this is a really nice scooter regardless.
Mi Scooter Pro 1.1 I have the Mi Scooter pro 1, I would love the rear bridge but that's it, Thanks for the video, i will be keeping my 1st gen for a long time :)
What do y'all thing of the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2? Also.. I have been waiting for weeks to be able to film this one... As the rest of the world had a beautiful summer, here in Shanghai I have just been dealing with constant rain! Hopefully, in the next two weeks, we will get a peek of what summer was like. Because I forgot what that even feels like!
Not an upgrade at all, I also have mi 365 pro, and would like to see all the things you pointed that missing like suspension, etc. but one thing that could be way better is a break, at least in my humble opinion. And one note, as I saw climbing angle for pro2 is 20 degrees, not 12. And nice review :) Cheers
@@boriskokorovic3902 yeah it's funny you mention the climbing angle as it's kinda vaguely mentioned. -In the official documentation, it mentions 12˚ angle, yet on the website, it mentions a gradability of 20%. Yes, its merely a incremental upgrade over the M365 Pro but the Pro 2 did addressed the common issues that plagued the Pro 2 (which you have mentioned on the vid), but since I am a M365 Pro I might take a look in to it to see if I want another Pro model since I still have the original M365 (which might not last long) and now the pro hehe!
My thoughts are you're the best in this field. A really high quality video that's very informative for the audience really digging in deeper on what's the difference between the first gen and the ²nd one. Also I agree with your recommendations like adding a phone mount on the scooter because it doesn't make any sense having a real time monitoring without seeing it first hand.
Nice review. Ordered one of these today, so I'm pretty excited, having never owned any type of vehicle before. (Well, aside from a bike when I was like 15)
@@solomon7009 Really good, imo. Battery lasts quite long depending on where you drive (it'll obviously last shorter in very hilly areas). It's comfortable to ride, and can actually take being used in the rain. Lots of fun to use.

Totally agree with your review. I would have liked to have seen better weatherproofing so riding in the rain wouldn't be such a gamble. would also have liked to have seen stronger battery with an even better range than the 45km on offer. The upgrades are just what people are doing themselves already so pretty poor from Xiaomi to have the nerve actually call this an upgrade. Could you imagine a car manufacturer getting away with this? Oh we've changed the bumper slightly so this is the new model! lol! No I don't think so!
I was hoping on 400-450W engine and 10 inch or even 11 inch wheels. This seems to be a cosmetic change. Maybe next year they improve things, unless laws become even more strict.
The German version seem to be the better one, becaue of the second brake handle, wich is for using the motor brake, so you can fully disable KERS for better freewheeling and still have energy recovery when braking, wich also can improve riding distance. I think they mainly released it for most of the EU countries to suit their new laws about this scooters.
The Xiaomi Pro has a design problem with it's rear fender. It doesn't have the bridge to connect it with the base. This means that if you collapse it and pick up the scooter by the handle, a serious load is placed on the rear fender and it will eventually break. The look-a-like plastic simulation for the Pro will *not* make it like the Pro2's metal bar. It will only help with vibrations. Basically the Pro can't be picked up as it was intended, where as the Pro2 probably can.
The upgrade is more logically in German market as the previous version (MI 365 PRO) was not street legal (You couldn't ride legally on streets) but the new version( MI 365 PRO 2) allows to drive legally as we can get an insurance sticker for the new model because it contains the legal documents required to buy an insurance as well as it complies with the legal regulations in German market. yeah I have heard about that in another comment recently as well.. I did not realize that this was actually a thing, as I don't have anything to do with that to be honest
unfortunatly 18650 cell are in a stagnating area, so there is no much of an improvement yet, lighter would mean less capacity. If you want more power you can customize the firmware and load it into your scooter. My normal m365 has 800 watts of power, and rides very well :)
BROOOO, no wonder your voice sounds so familiar! And the production is the same as well, please make recording videos again if you have time hehe. Wickie Media!
ok .....I have the pro 2 ........heres my view 1. It slows to 9mph when going up hills 2. Its not easy to turn a tight circle. Ok going straight but a u turn in a tight road is a challenge 3. It really does need front and rear brakes 4. Its bumpy and I think needs suspension in some way 5. It wont drive on gravel atall. Dont even try !
its good for those who don t have it like in India this product should be launched but those who have it scooter pro are not required to upgrade to pro 2 but also can be upgraded if u have mi scooter 1 version
my Pro 2 arrive's tomorrow 😉 it's my 1st e-scooter. here in Germany we have very strict rules. the Pro 2 is the 1st street legal e-scooter from Xiaomi here.
The "improvement" is, that it's now allowed in Germany. And I am really thankfully for that. Greetings from Germany (where everything has to be checked and with papers).
You didn't mention the front brake, which is magnetic, and works quite well. The steering bearings feel stiffer too. I just bought the German version and flashed it with custom firmware. Not many upgrades but still feels better, worth the money.
Totally agree. Also it needs to be noted that the ninebot max g30 is actually m365 2. The pro and pro 2 is just marketing to continue selling a flawed, dated design.
I really like the brighter tail light and I can easily get a pro 2 fender kit when ready. I'm not impressed with with anything else. My next scooter really needs suspension cause I ride alot. Electric scooter is very handy tool
It's a decent scooter but I would say that 1: There should be 2 400w motors, one in front wheel, one in back wheel. 2: The scooter should be made so heavier riders can go on it: max load should be increased from 100kg to at least 120kg. I say this because I am 1.90m 135kg and I currently have a 350w front wheel drive scooter but it only accelerates decently on flat terrain. I also have a 500w rear wheel drive scooter but it still crawls up steeper hills. Also, in my opinion, some of the features on Xiaomi like cruise control are really nice. Most scooters I know of in that price range do not have cruise control, so if the max load increases to 120kg more people can enjoy Xiaomi's cool features.
My wife got the Mober S10 instead of this because of suspension on the wheels and even the seat as I know it will literally be a pain in the ass using a scooter without one. Tried it out yesterday and I'm glad we went with this scooter instead of the xiaomi and it"s a 300 dollar scooter with suspension and better led lights. It's not as clean looking as the xiaomi but it performs really well for the price.
I would loved to pick one up but, i wish it had some sorta mechanism so u can just pick it up inside like a luggage or something cause i probably can't leave it outside when i would want to go somewhere
On the new scooters they have to make the tire replacement easier it took me so much time and effort :( thanks for the video though I’m talking about the general design
Hey Xiaomify, thanks for the Vid! Where did you order the Rear Fender / Tail Light parts from? ... I've been looking and cant find anywhere that sells them yet. Thanks!!
In my country, Croatia, they sold me a new Pro2 which ended up in service after the purchase because of the 16km max range. The range was measured on a flat road with no wind with my 90kg of weight. Of course in the service said it was okay and sent it back to me. This is my third scooter and I just wanted a Xiaomi. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. Otherwise, the scooter shows that it is high quality, but again ...
This is €649 in Sweden incl. taxes. Is this a worth that purchase? The M365 Pro is €600, should I got for that instead? Ninebots are also very expensive here, around €800 for the MAX G30.
10" tires and I would call it a real successor, but that... I would call it very small step forward. It should be called Mi Pro + some letter, not full 2 number.
I see quite a few quality problems - including the battery, on Amazon negative reviews. I wonder if it's worth the risk. Xiaomy is also using low quality electronic components on their circuit boards, which fail after a few months
I saw the Pro 2 climbing angle being advertised to be 20° instead of 12° for the 1st model. Yet in your comparison chart, both are at 12°. Is that a mistake from you or "false advertisement" from Xiaomi ?
-In the official documentation, it mentions 12˚ angle, yet on the website, it mentions a gradability of 20%. It turns out that the 20% gradability actually translates to an angle of 12˚.

Great review! one question. You think It's posible to put 10" tires in the Pro 2 version? using one standard kit of modification made for M365/M365 Pro. Greetings from Bolivia.
I think that might be possible seeing it seems to have the exact same dimensions. I have not personally tried it so I'm not 100% sure, but it does look like it should be possible
I have a ninebot but it's almost dead, from electric problems! The one I think I like about (besides the great build quality) it's the solid tyres. How do you deal, when riding the Xiaomi, if a tyre goes flat?!
The super market i work at is selling it at around 305$ - 615$ im writing this while not at work so i cant check the acurete price maybe its like 461$ but basicly i live like 9km away from work and i either use public transports or my dad takes me there and acording to the stats you posted optimally it will take 21 min to get there which is slower then a car but faster then walking and i dont have to relay on anyone other then myself so it puts the transportation in your hands which is nice meaning you dont have to put any effort into it. I just dont know if that 300+$ price range is justified i make like 1600$ a month as my salery but like 1231$ gose to savings and the other as a transfer to my family Which dosnt leave me with much money for the scooter and then for other expenses namiley grocerys

Was eager to wait for the Pro 3 but since I'm not waiting anymore I rather just buy the current model that's available in the market. Love em incremental improvements hehe! 😁🛴👍
Is the headlight supposed to have the top part cut?, I mean: on the other older models the headlight when projected onto a wall looks round but on this Pro 2 it does not look round, the top part of the circle is cut and it looks more like a "U" projected, the top part is a hard edge, as if something is blocking it from inside but I can't seem to the what could cause the block

- 2x 2w front headlights (one at the top, one underneath
- Redesigned rear mud flap but the mud flap should be thicker like the Inmotion L9's one
- increase the range from 45km to 65-70km range (like the Ninebot Max)
- Tail light is larger on the Pro 2 but can be slightly bigger
- 3x durability on 8.5" inch tyres sounds good but the next one should step it up to 9" inch or 10" inch tubeless tyres
- Battery capacity should be above around 15.2ah or more (similar to Ninebot Max's range)
- 350w motor for the front, or go for dual 300w motor
- dual-brake levers (German Pro 2 version has it)
- Dual mechanical disc brakes can work only if you need to increase the motor live span & less reliance on regen brakes
- Slightly larger body work to accommodate the improvements I said above

yeah I have heard about that in another comment recently as well.. I did not realize that this was actually a thing, as I don't have anything to do with that to be honest
It happened to me to, for an instant I thought that maybe I've hit the wrong thumbnail 😁
Your right bro. They need to upgrade . As you mentioned.. I’ll support you and agree for this one. My friend
I recommended these changes to Xiaomi so here's hoping for a drastic improvement over the M365 Pro/Pro 2!
What’s your suggestion for first-timer buyer? Pro or pro2
Extremely disappointing was hoping for a real upgrade
Would love more wattage, battery life and much lighter
unfortunatly 18650 cell are in a stagnating area, so there is no much of an improvement yet, lighter would mean less capacity. If you want more power you can customize the firmware and load it into your scooter. My normal m365 has 800 watts of power, and rides very well :)
erny1601 how did you get your scooter to 800w? More battery? If firmware, can you link?
erny1601 21700?
@@chefgav1 bigger cell = more capacity = larger. you won't get the same amount of cells into the scooter witch much more capacity.
Get the original Segway ninebot Max.
BROOOO, no wonder your voice sounds so familiar! And the production is the same as well, please make recording videos again if you have time hehe. Wickie Media!
That's the plan! I hope to be able to do it in the near future when I have got more time :)
ok .....I have the pro 2 ........heres my view
1. It slows to 9mph when going up hills
2. Its not easy to turn a tight circle. Ok going straight but a u turn in a tight road is a challenge
3. It really does need front and rear brakes
4. Its bumpy and I think needs suspension in some way
5. It wont drive on gravel atall. Dont even try !
its good for those who don t have it like in India this product should be launched but those who have it scooter pro are not required to upgrade to pro 2 but also can be upgraded if u have mi scooter 1 version
my Pro 2 arrive's tomorrow 😉 it's my 1st e-scooter. here in Germany we have very strict rules. the Pro 2 is the 1st street legal e-scooter from Xiaomi here.
hey :) how much is it and from where did you order one?
549€ online from Media Markt
@@kst9395 549€ from Saturn
Thank you for honest review
Where is suspension who all the people want it?Why Xiaomi came with this version without no major upgrade??I don't see any improvement!
The "improvement" is, that it's now allowed in Germany. And I am really thankfully for that. Greetings from Germany (where everything has to be checked and with papers).
Kugoo m4 pro is your answer
You didn't mention the front brake, which is magnetic, and works quite well. The steering bearings feel stiffer too. I just bought the German version and flashed it with custom firmware. Not many upgrades but still feels better, worth the money.
@@flamemaster4594 but what is the improvement? I see everyday that the Police give people Ticket..
@@civanlfc4358 That's illegal for Europe
People wanting suspension on the pro 2. It would be more expensive and hit the £700 rrp range if it had that IMO
Electric scooter is very handy tool
mine arrives Wednesday, hope it was worth the buy
How did you put the bridge on the rear fender? Where did you get the bridge connector?
It's a decent scooter but I would say that
1: There should be 2 400w motors, one in front wheel, one in back wheel.
Thanks!!
Me too

What about speed hacks? Can you increase speed?
Yes with an app
@@LurchiOrWha I know, but it probably has newer soft version that might be tricky to hack
I guess these devs need to adapt it to this one, so I don't think it will work right away but perhaps in the future it might.. not entirely sure tho
Love to see the Pro 2 hackers unlock the speed to 35km/hr like the M365 Pro hehe!
I put my Pro 1 on 30 km/h, I'm afraid something might go one if I unlock it for higher speed. What's your take on it?
In my country, Croatia, they sold me a new Pro2 which ended up in service after the purchase because of the 16km max range. The range was measured on a flat road with no wind with my 90kg of weight. Of course in the service said it was okay and sent it back to me. This is my third scooter and I just wanted a Xiaomi. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. Otherwise, the scooter shows that it is high quality, but again ...
What about the feature of transferring kinetic energy to charge battery while you're moving?
At these prices forget that.
@@vika0194 He's right... it's officially stated as a feature on Xiaomi's website!
@@gameletta3722 then good
This is €649 in Sweden incl.
Can i use this when its raining?
I see quite a few quality problems - including the battery, on Amazon negative reviews. I wonder if it's worth the risk. Xiaomy is also using low quality electronic components on their circuit boards, which fail after a few months
When is MI scooter pro 3 coming out?
I really like the suspentions if there is a pro 3
u found out the release yet or not?
I am going to buy this at my bday after few weeks
Just bought it I am so happy
@@Fortnite_player12365 good? and why
@@xiaomify Yeah that's what I meant by "false" advertisement haha.
Well I live in a flat region anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks
We need incline review videos for m365 and m365 pro to test real performace. Try to find here youtube.
This should've been called Mi Scooter Pro 1.2
I'm just gonna keep my Mi Scooter Pro 1.0
Bruh same here
Just a question, how long does the battery last before you recharge it again? Less than 90 minutes?
I'm a big guy. 110kgs. Will it effect speed mostly or will it snap in two? He He
My big bro just bought this today for his bday 😎
Yes pro should be 1000 watts electric motor, upgrade battery capacity and maybe 25 to 35 kph. Agree sir? I am four years owner of xiaomi m365 first generation and I know what else to upgrade and willing to pay extra $. Xiaomi electric scooter quality product we want upgrade more power just enough for decent climbing like all the roads here in the philippines up and down.
Nice Video , well explained, may I ask a link for the replacement part on the wheel stop water ?? . Mine broke . Thanks
I love your Let's Go 🤗
Does this still work with the custom firmwares that allows faster speeds?
Maybe if they update their apps it might, but might need some time.. not 100% sure though
what a nice city background, where is that?
If I remember correctly, he lives in Shanghai
Zhou was right, Shanghai indeed!
I have a ninebot but it's almost dead, from electric problems!
The one I think I like about (besides the great build quality) it's the solid tyres.
How do you deal, when riding the Xiaomi, if a tyre goes flat?!
Ride it for a short distance and wait for the bus or Uber it.
Pro2 vs recent 3
Which is better as your opinion?
The super market i work at is selling it at around 305$ - 615$ im writing this while not at work so i cant check the acurete price maybe its like 461$ but basicly i live like 9km away from work and i either use public transports or my dad takes me there and acording to the stats you posted optimally it will take 21 min to get there which is slower then a car but faster then walking and i dont have to relay on anyone other then myself so it puts the transportation in your hands which is nice meaning you dont have to put any effort into it.
I just dont know if that 300+$ price range is justified i make like 1600$ a month as my salery but like 1231$ gose to savings and the other as a transfer to my family
Which dosnt leave me with much money for the scooter and then for other expenses namiley grocerys
Now is the electric scooter pro 2 does it go with battery or with charging
Good review. I expect my Pro 2 to arrive in a few days. BUT I need a foldable seat and have no idea which would fit it. Any advice?
Get the Xiaomi portable seat via aliexpress.
Thx. Where was your vid shot? Looks lovely.
Bought the Xiaomi Pro 2 recently because my previous M365 Pro got stolen at my local Bike parking lot which is a darn shame! Was eager to wait for the Pro 3 but since I'm not waiting anymore I rather just buy the current model that's available in the market. Love em incremental improvements hehe! 😁🛴👍
how to set up the accelerator button of xiaomi scooter pro 2 via the mi app?
The thing I would like and nobody mentions is the motor on the rear wheel instead of on the front
Where do you buy your scooters from and do they ship in the uk
Great video:)
I thought cruise control is disabled with this new model? Is that not correct?
Hey, when opening it up to do you have to charge it?
I heard that Europe needs it especially recently.
yeah they might be a bit stricter with safety regulations, so it seems like an upgrade focused on those countries
Hey! Any info on Europe’s release date yet? Can’t seem to find anything
Here in Germany they're out already
Hello. I would like to ask, if the brake pads are worn-out after some time, can we purchase the spare and install it by ourself? Thx in advance
How good is it going up hills?
getting mine tomorrow :)
dont get one
10kg weight , 450 watt motor , Suspension , 35 km range is enough with 2.hours fully charge(50% in 30min) . the perfect scooter
Dude but some scooters does take more than 8 hrs to charge then 1 hour impossible for the next gen to come that easy
Where can you buy one of these
Suspension front & back, Dual ABS Brakes, FingerPrint In-display for Power ON, Customizable Tire size, Scooter Lock & 360 Collision alarm system. :D
Levitation so you dont need to worry about rough road...im not serious
@@-joo3033 Yeah that's the best feature for an upgrade. hahaha but maybe in year 3000. LOL

where did you order you headlight? in your old scooter on the video?
What is that clip thingy by the left break handle?😊
