This album will be remembered as the Thallest of the thall. A little thought for those who have left us and will never be able to hear this masterpiece
1) Genius level of drum playing. The creativity beyond just the skill is insane. 2) I would love to have this music played over some existential level, Prometheus, scary movie shit. 3) The open handed skill is out of this world.
@@tparkerino Vildhjarta subliminally hides really pretty, melodic stuff in the midst of all the chaos and dissonance. The part you’re talking about is one of the reasons I love Vildhjarta so much.
1:46, one of the most insane compositions I've ever heard....and the simple beat it transitions to for a short time....masterful songwriting. Utterly speechless.
thank you so much, this is my favorite song to groove too, 2:16 on is just the deepest level of my brain getting itched all the way to the end of the track
This might be the heaviest metal song ever been recorded. Not joking at all, a heavy song doesn't need fast riffs and shredy solos, sometimes it just needs a really deep, heavy, filthy, emotional punch on every note, which this album and especially this song gives us. Thank you. thall.
This was so sick to watch. One of my fav tracks hands down. The craziest thing about this album to me is how almost NOTHING repeats. Imagine having to memorize endless phrases of “breakdowns” that are all in different time signatures and rhythms and nothing repeats. Damn near every part is off time and then they throw in interludes and transitions to mix it up as well. To me this takes more skill than many may realize. Might not always but incredibly technical speed and riff wise but man hats off to you guys for writing this profound material and being so unbelievably creative! THALL these feelings you invoke in me 💜
Just look up “Vildhjarta” here on yt and go to their music page and then go to playlists i believe it is there, glad they added it to cause ive wanted to hear songs like Brännmark in instrumental versions. I dont know if i spelled that right

Top 3 for me on the album! That outro... mother of god. speaking of the outro, were the 8th note hi-hat taps programmed for the album or just not played in this playthrough? thall
I like these drums better, they sound more real and dynamic than the sampled ones! Id love to hear you mix the next songs with real drums and more articulation like here! It just sounds more bouncy, something samples just dont do because they are way to consistent!
This album will be remembered as the Thallest of the thall.

Your grandma used to listen to metal?
@@cartmanbro5921 yeah, she loved sabbath and zeppelin.
Never got to experience THALL.
and that makes me a little sad.
Siiiick! A real treat being able to watch these drum play-throughs. Album is a masterpiece
The section of 1:50 is just filthy. This video gives me a greater appreciation of this song. So damn good.
Definitely one of my favorite parts of the album
@David Duke don't ya just love drugs? ❤️ they truly open the mind and develop creative thinking processes.

The drums are so cool on this whole album, buster is so talented!
Also one of my favorite moments from the album 2:26, it’s soooo good. thall
I also love that part a lot. Those guitars sound so grim.
That passage to the end of the song is absolutely incredibly emotional

Abyssal Mouth by Humanity's Last Breath. Meshuggah's Lethargica.
I agree it has this emotional pull and intensity that a wall of sound can't Replicate
@@smokejcThis is heavier than meshuggah, and humanity’s last breath has 2 of the same members as vildhjarta so it’s easy to see why that’s a contender
This is the greatest gift that keeps on giving.
The cymbal work oh my lord

Yes.
the breakdown at 1:10 is one of the dirtiest things i've ever heard. had this song on repeat for days, so glad to see the drums
I mean.. the whole song is technically a breakdown so.. the entire thing is the nastiest breakdown ive heard tbh
