New York declares war on gun rights in the name of "public safety," yet the streets of Albany are littered with crime, overrun by violence, dictated by drugs and plagued with abysmal public education. In the coming weeks, Colion Noir will report from the parks, barber shops, schools and streets of Albany, to identify the real problems, highlight the hard-working citizens outside of government who are fighting to make a difference and expose the politicians who scapegoat their failed leadership on gun owners. #NewYork #Albany

I live in New York, about 30 minutes away from Albany. For a while, I actually lived in Albany. Albany is in need of a great deal of change in many important areas, such as education, but Andrew Cuomo would rather focus on stripping people of their constitutional rights, especially the right to bear arms. That's why I'm voting Larry Sharpe this November, the only candidate speaking out in favor of repealing the SAFE Act. And in New York, being Republican does not equate to being pro Second Amendment. The SAFE Act would not have passed without Republican support.

Jim Knight if you have an excuse valid enough to own a gun. I’m a welder, owned a business and worked everywhere alone til dark thirty. I carried cash, was alone, in neighborhoods not to friendly to white guys. My reasons for carrying a fire arm wasn’t good enough and I graduated police academy in Oklahoma a few years prior.
No; everyone can’t own or carry. I was told to hire extra guys, don’t stay after dark and don’t carry money. Yeah; that’s my rights.
Besides; if I ended up shooting someone it would only bring more shit down on my head than being robbed or beat the hell up. I just started telling everyone I was black.
No one ever F’d with me anyway; not even once because I looked like I carried and acted like I was ready for any kind of shit. But didn’t want any shit.
I worked everywhere in NYC at all hours and always alone. Now; why didn’t one person try? Because people aren’t anything like the government says. People are 99% better than good. Especially if they see an obstacle in their way and that’s simply awareness and keeping track of your surroundings.
That’s all the ammo I ever need; my brains. If I’m ever robbed I’ll act like I’m part of the robbery and at least get my cut of the take. Lol

As a resident of the beautiful Adirondacks it kills me to see what Cuomo and the leftists have done to my beautiful state. Their actions will NOT be forgiven because they do what they do NOT because they care about the safety of the people but because they seek the CONTROL and to ENSLAVE. So, a non resident with a firearm in New York is a felony?

    • @luckygamer05
      @luckygamer05 5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

Yup. You must have a NY pistol permit to possess a pistol in NY. They do not issue them to non residents. So let's say your flight gets diverted to NY for some reason, and you have to recheck your luggage due to a delay, you're a felon and you're going to jail. It has already happened.
They don't care about the federal law saying you can drive straight through either. If they pull you over and they find it somehow, you can recite that federal law all day long while you're on your way to your jail cell.

I am addressing the ad before the video. 6 things to stay out of jail after the smoke clears. Don’t carry unless you can deal with the reality of killing someone and keeping your mouth shut.
Never dial 911. If you can’t resist being a trained dog; leave the gun in the damn store and never purchase a gun in a store in the first place. Don’t tell anyone you are armed don’t participate in registrations or signing up for anything related to guns. Don’t buy ammo with credit cards don’t buy gun magazines with a credit card don’t sign any petition related to gun control. Don’t give public opinions or use social media to express your intent to use a gun, shoot a gun or own a gun.
Even watching these gun related videos is a fragment of data on you for these snoop devices.

Make a video where you talk about why you support the NRA. Maybe someone like you could help change my mind.
I can't bring myself to support the NRA. Why do they continue to compromise on our rights?

same here I have looked at their page to become a member more than once but every time I do i remember it was the NRA pushing for more background checks and who folded on 'bump stocks' if they are willing to give an inch they are giving the mile little by little.

Gun Owners of America absolutely is a respectable no-compromise organization, but they don't have the push the NRA does. Most gun owners as well as anti-gunners look toward the NRA for answers and accountability.
The NRA already has great support, but it would be much more so if they didn't compromise on seemingly everything. The way they currently operate, will inevitably lead to a loss of rights completely. Eventually, legislators will have chipped away at everything that most members of the NRA (Fudds) could couldn't care less about (machine guns, bump fire stocks, silencers, unconstitutional disarming of civilians under red flag laws, "high capacity" magazine bans, etc.) and all that will be left is what they do care about. Then and only then, will they hopefully realize that they have made the mistake of compromise.

@@whiplash636 exactly I could care less about personally owning a bump stock or really even a machine gun for that matter but if the NRA wont stand for them why should I believe they will stand for my rifle or yours?
"The Right of The People to keep and bear arms _shall not be infringed."_ is losing any meaning.
eidit; maybe it is time we all jump ship to GOA and give them the backing the NRA has but no longer deserves, hell if I know.

It's not going to happen overnight and probably not even in our lifetime, but at lot can happen over the course of just 10 years, much less 50-100 years. As of now, a repeal of the second amendment seems incredibly far-fetched. Each and every time the NRA allows another gun law to go unchallenged equates to more people backing those laws, even gun owners themselves. It would take 38 states in agreement to completely invalidate the second amendment. There are a handful of states that would jump at the opportunity today. Imagine how many there could be 100 years from now.
A complete repeal of the second amendment, in my opinion, is going to occur before the year 2100.
What the NRA is currently allowing is a perfect example of the "boiling frog" fable.

not to mention all these new 'common sense' laws that only make it harder for gun owners to legally own a firearm means less and less gun owners in younger generations which means less and less support for the Second Amendment as time goes on. exactly what the progressives are after.

you're spot on with the boiling frog analogy.

I think this series is going to be interesting. No political figure, organization, etc., is coming to save any community. The people simply need to save themselves. In every broken inner city neighborhood, communists/socialists have been in control since forever, who are happy to keep the status quo. Until the people rise and refuse to be owned as dependents of the gov't, nothing is going to ever change...
The answer is freedom. It always has been and nothing is going to ever change that either.
