Really pleased to see you were doing Mousehole. Very fond childhood memories of holidays with my grandparents and playing in the harbour, staying at a cottage there. Going back there was very emotional. Love your walks. Godrevy Lighthouse was another one I enjoyed and hoping to stay during winter as I love the drama of the coast in the winter as much as I love the Summer there.
Love the virtual walk. The Mousehole boat harbour is one of my favourite Cornwall memories and you walked several if the tiny narrow streets that I explored. The tide was in when we were there in 2015, so the boats were bobbing in their haven behind that tiny entrance. Thank you for going to so much trouble for our entertainment. And even Andrew couldn't sneak a 'cow joke' into that one!
Incredibly quaint, impossibly narrow roads & wonders of wonders there were actually car parking spaces to be had I noticed! Transformed at Christmas into a Winter Wonderland with all the Harbour lights. I had always wanted to see them and got my wish a few years ago. It was magical. I remember watching that bus in the vid navigating the turn around to go back into Penzance! Precision driving! I don't know when you filmed this one, but it was very quiet there that day. Lovely. Lovely place to take a gentle stroll. We have stayed a few times in Mousehole - love the narrow streets, sitting at the harbour and the art and craft shops. TFS We have just got back from our regular Cornwall fix - it was great!!
One of my absolute favourite places to visit in Cornwall. All the Cottages were well looked after and so pretty. You walked passed my favourite cottage too! on the Harbour. You took us on a really good tour. It was nice to go up through the little side paths and have a nosey there rather than just sticking to the main part. Really enjoyed this..thank you! 🦋
Тихая корнуольская деревушечка, чистенькие улочки, аккуратные домики, все дышит покоем и счастьем. Даже чайки кричат не так пронзительно. Спасибо вам за очередную отличную виртуальную прогулку.
Thank you for this walk! I spotted a place I took a picture 18 years ago while on a Southwest England tour, and we had about 40 minutes to do a quick wander through Mousehole. I was the last person to board our bus! I do want to go back and maybe stay overnight.
I never realised that Mousehole was as large as that, however, it is very quaint & very pretty. I enjoyed watching from my arm chair letting you 2 do all the hard work. Wonderful job guys.
Ein kleines Fischerdorf - wir lieben es. Mein Auto war zu groß - wir mussten im Hafenbecken parken (bei Ebbe) und trozdem ein wunderschönes Erlebnis dort zu sein. Gruß Konrad/Germany.
Thank you Sarah and Andrew for taking me back to Moushole :-) And for letting me see a lot more of this beautiful village than I managed to see last year, when passing through here on our way from Porthurno to Penzance ;-) And even if the 5 km road to Penzance is on quite flat tarmac and is a bit noisy; it has the most magnificent views through Newlyn and towards St. Michael's Mount
Our pleasure! Yes, the road is a little bit busy and probably more noticeable when we are filming a virtual walk but balanced by the beautiful views! Sarah :)
Another lovely walk ! We have managed to get a week in Peranuthnoe next month, I hope to be walking to Prussia cove one day , then walk into Marizion 'to stock up with pasties' another day ! Cheers
I really enjoyed this walk. I used to love going there. It was nice hearing the birds in the background. The walk in the harbour was lovely and I was hoping you wasn't going to trip over the ropes lol Thank you.
Omg I got so much anxiety as you walked to the allotments. Those bloody scarecrows. One minute I wanted to see them then the next I was terrified of them. Great video though
Hi, What a picture Postcard Village and Harbour.. these Seagulls are very noisy at times...☺ Do you know the difference in Meter or Foot between high and low tide ? These Houses at the Harbour Front are a Dream but i guess car parking for the Residence is a real hassle....Thanks for sharing Stay safe Dagmar ❤❤🤗🤗
This was a fantastic video, I would like to make a request; could you return to a Mousehole during December for the Tom Balcock festival, show us some Stargazy pie while you there 😋
We tried last year and failed miserably! There is a video on our channel of the 2019 Mousehole lights th-cam.com/video/aGTMGsE4QDc/w-d-xo.html, and we tried to add Tom Balcock Eve but for many reasons it just didn't work: the weather; we were working; the fact that it's on 23rd December (Christmas videos need to be posted before that to do well or they just die); and not to mention that it gets very crowded. So a great deal of thought went into it but I'm afraid it just won't work. Sorry! Sarah :)
Thank you for a beautiful walk to and around Mousehole....nice job passing many historic sites in the village and walking up on The Gurnick. Too bad the Male Choir wasn't performing on the harbour, that's always a special treat.
There is a suspicious lack o' pussycats 'n' fishboats. Village looks overrun wi' revenuers. Stargazy pie and other Cornish traditions should be more sincerely observed. Aargh!
If I continue w/these virtual walks, I shall soon become a viirtual Mouseholian. Luv it! So peaceful & picturesque. "Someday, one day..."
Reviving balm for the 'lockdown' soul...thank you for all the work you put into these videos 💛

We filmed this on Friday! It was really quiet and very easy to be socially distant, no cats or mice though! Sarah :)
Lovely place to take a gentle stroll. We have stayed a few times in Mousehole - love the narrow streets, sitting at the harbour and the art and craft shops. TFS We have just got back from our regular Cornwall fix - it was great!!
Very pleasant walk. Such a cozy place, all those sweet little cottages bundled up together and narrow quaint roads,😀
So true! Really quaint and cute! Sarah :)

So beautiful and peaceful region! Wonderful walk! ❤️🌞🌿🌼
Yes, thank you, Sarah :)
Yes beautiful but very noisy with fast traffic !!

Loved it so much we are going round again. Xx
Oh Brilliant LOL! Sarah :)

Sounds great! Love the stocking up with pasties idea, Sarah :)
Look, eating pasties are like social distancing, it has to be done, !
It's a wonderful walk. Thank you. Kind Regarts Günter
Glad you enjoyed it, Sarah :)
love this place
I really enjoyed this walk. I used to love going there. It was nice hearing the birds in the background. The walk in the harbour was lovely and I was hoping you wasn't going to trip over the ropes lol Thank you.
yeh the ropes were tricky! but successfully avoided, Sarah :)
Found out this is actually perfect asmr sounds for sleep :o)
Watched, liked and loved :-) thank you.

Been there many times.
Did anyone else notice the green heart on the Grenfell St sign? A nice touch .

No idea about the change in height but I'm sure a quick google search will help you with that. And yes, bit difficult to park in Mousehole, Sarah :)

I remember as a young child having ling & chips in a cafe near the harbour. I remember my dad saying "Don't think I've ever had ling before"
Thank you for a beautiful walk to and around Mousehole....nice job passing many historic sites in the village and walking up on The Gurnick. Too bad the Male Choir wasn't performing on the harbour, that's always a special treat.
It’s a virtual walk. Contrary to what you think you might see, Sarah and Andrew are not really there!
Love it! We were not really there! Sarah :)
Not many emmett's about. I do love your videos but I like to hear about the history and no mouse jokes from Andrew?
Very few emmetts!! Lovely and quiet to wander around Mousehole, they are all in Porthleven today, a touch on the uncomfortable side for me, Sarah :)
Emmetts? As in reffering to emmet kelly the homeless clown?
Nice upload but I prefer you both talking or at least some nice chilled relaxing music now and again in the video.
Keep em coming... ⚓️⛱
