I'm a pilot and really enjoy your flight simulator videos. However, I have also become hooked on all of your other simulators as well. You do a great job. Thanks.
@@elia8544 He's talking about "Sky King" a TV series that ran in the 1950s. The character was played by Kirby Grant. It was about a rancher who flew a Cessna 310 and got into various adventures. For me it's just a nickname.
I lived in Oregon almost my entire life. Moved to Clearwater, Florida a couple years ago. Lived in Bend around 10 years. Whoever programmed this did a fantastic job! Felt like I was back in Bend. Great video!
Cut my teeth on a 1978 Mack R model, loved that ole truck. I'm 19yrs driving now still in an old bulldog just updated to a 2016 model. Great videos Jeff.
Aw Bend is my hometown!! I miss it :/ I remember walking atop Pilot Butte watching fireworks over three sisters. ATS is great, you have great production quality too love these videos man
Yeah I would enjoy if they made it to where you had to scale your loads after picking it ane adjust your tandems or fifth wheel to make sure your weighted correctly, and legal in states you travel in. Always enjoy your videos Jeff, while I'm out trucking in my own truck.
Nice scenic route, living in Florida my whole life, watching these truck Sims allows me to view the country side if this is accurate. I do enjoy your episodes Jeff. Keep'em coming Pal.
I really love your channel Jeff. When you say "wow this is beautiful" to scenery in the game, people will comment "how can it be beautiful it's just a video game" but we all know it's a game. You make your videos so immersive by talking about the scenery, you make it feel like we're just behind the wheel of that semi. Keep up the good work man.
I watched the Bristol Motor Speedway night race on Television at home. I enjoyed watching the race last night. Denny Hamlin won the race, Jeff Favignano. Love watching your videos, and keep up the wonderful videos too. By the way, I love the Ferrari 250 GT wheel too. I'm also excited for the new Nascar Heat 4 coming out too.
Be cool to see border crossings and some Canadian content. My old route was Saskatchewan, to British Columbia, down to Oregon, and Idaho running flatbed usually scrap cars and flat steel
I am a retired cdl driver i actually enjoy playing this game,, I have been using this truck with the 905 cat amd 18 speed, i have to admit after driving for a living i leave the damage off, and speed, its a relaxing game to take frustration out on
Ah, good to see some more ATS, such a great channel on how you diversify your content, I mean you run probably one of the best gaming channels on TH-cam and you have basically something for everyone.
This is so neat, thank you Jeff. Also if you do a road trip in this game, try a 1990 Ford woddy station wagon, or a 1995 Chevy Lumina? I be interested in see what you think of how those sadans handle in the game? Anyway, have a great week Jeff and looking forward to a new roommates podcast ? Take care, best wishes, Quinn
Lol I'm a Central Oregon native and I laughed at how accurate these maps are especially when I saw the state trooper pulling someone over, the cars looked exactly like our state cops here!
I really like the idea of really long hauls that you could do in multiple sessions. Just park to sleep, pause the sim, then come back to it when you have time and it's just picking up from when you left off, like it's the next morning or something. Do they have in game music like over the radio? If not, I guess you can always play music outside the sim and that could be a nice addition to the longer runs. I'm also curious about the CB radios in game. Can you talk with co-op buddies or other online truckers? That might be really cool.
Super jealous of your wheel setup and all the addons you get given for it :D One of the perks of the job I guess haha. I also love the Mack R, It's my truck of choice for my logging company in ATS - it looks SO good in orange and grey pulling a log trailer!
Jeff, as an American trucker there are times when people are so distracted or selfish they won't let you over and you end up missing your exit. In that case I just keep on going and find an exit I can safely turnaround or a find a different route.
If you ever end up on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, you can rent JKUs with no doors from Outer Banks Jeep Rentals and drive up to Corolla. Up there you can drive on the beach and sand trails and there are wild horses as well. Very cool! I used to work at OBJR and loved getting to drive the Jeeps.
I think this traffic mod is VERY realistic, especially that bit at around 27:00 in. Maybe in ETS they allow you to merge because maybe European drivers are just more willing to do so IRL, but not here in the US.
Fantastic truck. Great vid. Yes, Washington made the difference when it comes to longhauling in ATS. Did Colville to Tucumcari in 1 shot a while back and that was a looooong trip :)) Utah will make it possible to cut the corner a bit. And i know longhauling in ETS. Did Kazakhstan to the south of France in 1 shot. That was nuts.
Man that Rim is really sweet looking. Nothing short of the best quality that I've come to expect from Thustmasters. May have to re invest my G27 into a thrustmaster as time and funds become available. Thanks again for another great episode to watch and enjoy Jeff.
a trick for this game my friend, is put on your 4 ways, and edge slightly into their lane. they WILL yield. the software err programming when it senses the 4 ways on the person in that lane backs off

I used to drive an R model mack. It was cool. Had 2 gear shifts but let me tell you. The heat from the engine came right in to the cab. In the oilfields of west texas it was crazy hot in that truck.
This is so cool, I live near the Mack world headquarters here in Greensboro NC, and they have like a huge museum inside on their separate Volvo trucks North America Headquarters campus, they have a truck like this in the museum in sublime condition, next time you pass by NC come take a look, Honda jets world headquarters is right up the highway by the GSO international airport too. As for Mack/Volvo just look for the giant golden Mack dog lol. You can’t miss it. Or Greensboro, super highways like I-40, I-us29 and I-85 go right through the heart of Greensboro.
Those were real houses you seen in the desert! In fact I would be living in one of those IRL if I chose to be a Whitewater rafting guide this year! I actually know a lot of people who live in that neighborhood.
Hey Jeff, Jozef here from Canada. Just wanna say didn’t find you’re channel till a few weeks ago but I’m literally almost done you’re episodes from ATS series and I really do enjoy it! I also hoping you will do a play through three the new simulator game called “ Truck Driver “ which I’m sure you will do! But anyways keep pumping these videos out and great job!
I found out yesterday there is a mod of my favorite truck in this game, the Kenworth K100-E from the TV show, BJ and the Bear. So now I have to get the game. (I was looking for an old Farming Simulator version of the truck when I found it in the Steam Workshop.) I also discovered there is a mod of a truck in the Workshop from Central Oregon Trucking Company which is based in Redmond - 14 miles from Bend. I grew up in Redmond and live in Bend. So now I need to get the game to drive both trucks to/from Bend.

Glad you stuck around brother, I will be covering NASCAR Heat 4 very soon and I am excited for that series. This years game blows the others out of the water and will be good enough for a stay on the main channel :)
Psssh, you guys ride the middle Lane with doubles for whatever reason. And you cause wrecks cause you want to go 70 with snow vs driver from Cali. Slow down and move over.
Drove to Bend from Othello, Wa ( just north of Kennewick ) a couple weeks ago. Shaniko is exactly what it looks like. It's a nice drive & Bend is a very nice area.
Considering how it's been over 3 years and they're just releasing Utah, it might either take a very long time for them to do that because of the sheer size of Texas with all the detail they're gonna have to put in that huge state, or they might release it not long after Utah with detail being added as the game goes, again because of the size of Texas. I'm a big fan of the game and hope for the best when it comes to some interesting states (for me it's Texas, Colorado and Montana._
@American 1337 Unfortunately most of Coast to Coast map consists of endless highways with just incomparable detail to what SCS does with their maps, obviously it's nice to have a huge map to your disposal but if its pretty much only 2 lane highway its just boring you know
