@@TennysonPesco Maybe if you were completely unaware of him before that... He's been making regular panel show appearances for years now, increasingly so in the past 2-3. In the past couple of years his profile has grew immensely, he's got a special on Netflix, a book & his TV appearances have ramped up some. I get you're saying he was "relatively not as well known" but I'd argue again against that, there's been a lot of his work out there the past couple of years. Anyone that's followed him knows that

But anyway, thanks for giving me a heads up about him, I've seen him on Mock the Week where he's been quite funny so I'll have to watch some of his other stuff.

I guess I don’t get the particular joke here? I love James humor for its intelligence and quick wit Brit lines and I get most his jokes but this one just goes on by
@@KalvinistKyle Roast has a double meaning here, both a roast dinner and a spit roast. The context of the conversation was about sex and "talking about it over a roast" means chatting over dinner. James' line "I would avoid roasts around your dad" implies avoiding a spit roast with your dad. Which I think we can all agree, is hilariously messed up.

I don’t think there’s anytime wrong with James. I think many people go through breakups like he does. He just chooses to talk about it a lot so it may seem like he is the problem. He currently has a girlfriend and I think they have a child together.
