Hey Levi ... love your content. I have been binging for a few weeks now. I have a 76 S2 and a 800B and getting ready to fix some non-working gauges and light phantoms. Would love to hear any advice on addressing some of those issues. I am dyslexic so I learn a lot from your videos. Appreciate it.
Awesome thanks for watching. If all the gauges are non op I would say that more than likely you have a dead CVR. I can't remember off the top of my head if it is on the water temp gauge or oil pressure gauge. It takes 12 volts and steps it down to 6. 1 make sure it has 12 volts coming into it and is properly grounded. 2 check to see if there is a pulsing signal coming out of it. Will be hard to read with a digital meter but the meter reading should jump around if it is working. Other than that invest in a factory service manual for the wiring diagrams and circuit numbers. That is about the only way to really make heads or tails of the electrical system as all the wires are green.
