👍 super práce a jen tak dál, držím palce a jen malá rada - to bidélko hladké rovné je absolutně nevhodné a nedělá jí dobře na nohy! Vyměňte ho za přírodní! Děkuji
I love your Shelby videos. I was wondering, as you mentioned you had children of your own, are you teaching them how to be around Shelby and vice versa? Have you "desensitized" Shelby around kids? I'd be interested in seeing a video on your children with Shelby. (If you don't put your children on YT then just some advice on how you did it). She's so beautiful!!
Hi i am from France i am going have my bleu and gold macaw can you please tell me what kind of thing you got with you to train mike a remot with sound please
I got one an he is 16yrs old n his name is Reagan my god he is so loving n I cannot live with him love him so so much .he sleep on the bed with me in the day time n night in his cage .First thing in the morning he kiss me on my lips an eat from my mouth an said morning mom I love you so sweet love him
Have you watched Dave and Jamie from bird tricks. With the wing trick I’d always have a clicker on you and click when she does it by herself. Like capturing. Also PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD Stop petting all over. Especially the belly and under the wings. It’s very sexual to them and will cause hormonal issues and cause the bird to think you’re it’s mate, (Dave and Jaime have great information on their channel about it) In bird land it’s only ok to touch the areas they cannot physically reach themselves. Only their mates are allowed to touch everywhere.

Shelby is lovely. mine is five months old can u give me some suggestions on his diet and how to train
Awesome diet you give your mawca😍😍😍🦜
Thank you
She is absolutely an amazing creature 👍
What a beautiful lovely birb ❤️ shelby has a fun life
The best part of the broccoli for her is the part you didn't give her.
She gets the stalks during the day to play with as a “foot toy” which helps with her hand foot coordination.
@@ShelbyTheMacaw mate I just found you on kids dodo i and I love your family :) hope your having a great day peace out
Was it the first time you let him fly? How did you train him to fly and didn't escape?
I’m teaching my 2 B&G’s touchdown for wings.. especially due to American football around the corner.
I know it's been 3 years but while working does Shelby bother you? Like loud noises and stuff? or is she perfectly calm
I can’t work with any of my macaws in my house (I have three now!) and they have their own out building
@@ShelbyTheMacaw was Shelby quiet when she was standing by you
Congrats on a great job... what do you use as her treat? For training
Different nuts, usually pine nuts, almonds and Brazil nuts
How old did you get Shelby? I am thinking of getting one in a couple years and want to have a good chance with training

Watching this makes me sad,my macaw named Poo passed away 2yrs ago and I really miss him.
did you use a harness before free flying
Yes we did. It’s not always essential though.
She is smarter than my macaw
They're all super smart in their own ways
How did you attach the wood to your perch I’m having trouble doing it
We used a drill and screw and screwed it in place through a hole already in the plastic usually used to attach a camera
@@ShelbyTheMacaw thank you I will try this

A training clicker. They can be found on Amazon

We made it ourselves by adapting a camera tripod

In the wild a main part of their diet is NUTS.
Scot Fenn she’s not in the wild sooooooo...
Nuts are high in fat which is necessary if you are hunting for your food daily but when you are fed and cared for they make excellent training treats!
Thay need nore fruit
Sid Hyde she snacks on fruit every afternoon after a flying session
No. They don't need any fruit at all
