A good video. A comparison between the 25.39gr JSB Monster Redesigned Pellet and the 25gr H&N slug at 100m in the wind would be interesting to see if you have the opportunity to do one.
Thank you, Ah I see what you saw. I do not think it was a double load, It doesn't seem to be from the video and I also do not remember double loading. I think it is just the camera angle when the last shot hit it showed the bottom hole better?? A double load usually shoots low especially on that distance.
Yes, I would say so. The weight is the same but the BC is much greater, so it holds on to its speed and energy a lot better and will be less affected by the wind. You will also get less drop from a 22 cal slug than a 25 cal pellet.
@@GunningForFun I was about to buy a .25 cal Marauder (super-accurate) then I saw your video. I guess my next gun will be a .22 PCP designed to take slugs!
try 27gr mate im using 600mm barrel and tuned today at 140 reg 27gr too 960fps on hammer 4 same hole at 50yrds and sub Moa at 100yrds no wind mind or very little
Cool, I will try the 27gr again and see how they do. In this video I have not tuned for the 25gr on my valve so they can still do better. I just wanted to show a compassion between them and the 18gr unprepared... When i first tested the 25gr did the best in my gun. Have you seen the 300m grouping video? All except for 1 shot was sub moa
Ohhh!! Exactly what I would like to see. Do a soda can full of water at 150 yards. My modified 22 marauder will do some major damage with Nielsen slugs 45 fpe right now
Pretty definitive findings in my book! Great job!! Thanks.

Thank you for the comment. That is a very good idea, I will do it as soon as I have a chance.

Yeah! Great shooting yeah. Amazing the difference between slugs and pellets in high winds yeah. Keep them coming enjoy the videos yeah.
Can you ise slugs with brocock bantam sniper magnum thank you
Good stuff! It looked like two pellets shot during the last shot?

Is it safe to say that a good .22 slug is at least as good as a regular. 25 pellet in terms of real world long range (past 75 yards) ballistics?
I would say better my modified marauder 45fpe will drop doves like a rock even out to 165 yards with Nielsen slugs
@@danieldyck2576 You mean your .25 marauder drops more than the .22 slugs?

When you find the correct slug and gun combo you will be amazed what it is capable of
Nice test

27 gr one hole at 50 grom my maverick at 955
Was it an Smooth Twist "X" "A" liner?. If not, what was it?. Thank you.
It is a Smooth Twist X 600mm Slug Liner A
in a hard wind the barrel will also be affected by the wind ,its not a massif stif steel barrel.
i would like to see this test with .30 pellets vs .22 slugs
Ohhh!! Exactly what I would like to see. Do a soda can full of water at 150 yards. My modified 22 marauder will do some major damage with Nielsen slugs 45 fpe right now
I will see what I can do for you. We have a legal limit of 22 cal without a licence.
is that 217 or 218
.217
Muy buen video saludo desde el salvador
Nice.
You forget to describe the most important thing: DISTANCE??????????
The distances are there... The 1st one is 30m and the second is 100m
OK, please write it on video`s description.
too many "YEAH.." hahaha..
Haha but this guy is pretty cool 😎 though
❤️❤️❤️❤️😀👍
I like airgun but Vietnam is not like your country.
Not allowed to own guns at all?
Yes, not even an air gun is allowed.
I love to hunt, so I should use it secretly
