I had been searching for the perfect cover for the A6 (Sterling Ink) that I want to carry in my purse (so it needs to be reasonably durable) and not bulky while also protecting the planner itself (which I’m only putting a clear cover on,) and everything was just going to bulk my purse up so much…I started looking for something that could be both a wallet and planner holder. I really had only been seeing people occasionally unbox the small drawer pouch and had no idea that the Ane version existed. Sooooo…I’m very happy that this will work as both wallet and pouch to hold my planner and some tools (this is my schedule/to do/jot down something on the go planner, I have an A5 for daily journaling that will generally stay at home) and the basic black (which is fine with me…and I like the tan interior) will be mine. Thanks for videos like this that can be a great help to people who don’t really shop the Hobonichi site (I wouldn’t likely buy enough to make the shipping worth it) and/or are very new to the company’s products in general.
Oh it’s totally my pleasure. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. Your setup sounds great. The Ané will be great for that. I’m really enjoying using it as a wallet. I have a couple of them, they’re such a great layout.
@@desleyjaneplans I’m glad you’re enjoying using it as a wallet! Basically, it’s just a little bigger than the large leather wallet that I currently have…but that one is configured in a way that it wont hold the planner. (I also am telling myself that I will NOT stuff the new one to overflowing like my current wallet which is stuffed because I never go through it to get rid of old member cards/business cards, etc.) And, that wallet can go off to the cobbler to have the zipper replaced (overstuff them long enough…and I’ve probably had it for 20 years. It’s a beautiful Coach pebbled black leather wallet.) Hmm…maybe how to clean/protect the fabric of the covers and pouches? Can you “Scotch Guard” them? (I spill stuff…I’m 5, lol) so for instance, I was looking at the zippered A6 case that appears to have shape/stiffness in it…you can’t put a cover on cover on it…so, any ideas? Also…what plastic covers fit what planners and/or “cover on covers” but don’t fit the Hon or the 5 yr? I have the Midori clear plastic cover so it fits without a cover just fine on A6 and A5, but this appears to be an issue!
@@mollymollie6048 I use leather cleaner/protector on my leather covers and I scotchguard the fabric ones. Yeah the plastic covers can be confusing. There’s nothing to cover the zippered ones unfortunately. I used to keep mine in a pouch but I don’t love the zippered covers so much. The plastic covers and pouches are pretty cool. I quite like them. Let me know what you end up trying!
Sorry for the delay. I just wanted to check for you before I replied. It does JUST fit but the zip might make a mess of the corners over time. And I don’t think you could fit much else in with it. The Ané is the perfect size for the Weeks. ❤️
I just tried it. It just squeezes in - just the book. Any kind of chunking up and it won’t fit. It fits really nicely in the Small. But of course the small is much taller. I hope that helps.

Hi! Do you think the techo weeks fits inside the small drawer pouch?
