Beim Panda braucht man kein Sonderwerkzeug.

How wonderful to see a resurrected panda! In 1978, Fiat arrived in Brazil and brought this engine to equip the first Brazilian Fiat, called the Fiat 147. It sold a lot, a lot and the following year it was also found, running on ethanol, gaining a reputation for being very durable and economical and There are some still running today, register! Big hug, Rio de Janeiro!
I had a 1986 upgrade Fiat Panda 1000CL with the 999cc FIRE engine and I loved the little car. It was the only car I've ever own that never failed a MOT. The biggest drawback was rust on the door panels, and I replaced every panel while I had it including the bonnet and tailgate! Another major irritant was the clutch cables tended to brake so I always carried a spare. The cables were however easily replaced even at the roadside in about 20minutes! The non servo brakes were also a issue the pads had to be replaced frequently(at around half worn) but again were easy to work on. It was a nippy little car that was cheap but cheerful, fun to drive, looked nice and had excellent fuel economy, but the seats were a bit uncomfortable in long journeys.
weird, here in italy we don't hear people that say that they rus a lot, we just hear people saying how good they are and how they're pretty much unstoppable
@@AnItalianGuyOnYT It depends on what they use to defrost the roads. In my country they use salt so many cars suffer from rust and after winter ends you can see these cars in body shops to get the rust removed.

Another great warrior brought to life again. Its a shame the amount of rust that it has, but as a project car if you can weld, it can be a good car if is well mantained and rust-proofed. Here in Spain still are a lot of units, its not rare to see one almost every day (the SEAT Panda/Marbella version, although are some FIAT too), and the 4x4 version is very well appreciated, especially for rural areas and mountains. Also has in Spain a van version, called SEAT Trans or SEAT Terra with cargo cabin that is not rare to see too.

It stood for 17 years, and it started up as if it had been parked a week ago ...
You did go back !! 🎉🎉 you have no idea how much I enjoy your content. Great video again. 🚗 🫶
I have an early one, never kept in a garage and has no rust at all, it has over 300.000km and still works nicely. They're quite good for what they are...
You must be living in a warm, southern country, i guess... I have a late 1st generation Panda from 1986 in great condition and those are very rare in germany, where i live. Most of them rusted away after a few years...
In Spain, where they were built by Seat, mine's a rebadged Fiat as is an early one, i've got other very rusty cars, but not this one...
@@riejurv50 Mine was built in spain aswell and it's a Fiat. Before i had two Seat Marbella and was looking for another one. But i found the Fiat and it was so good in condition, i had to buy it.... 😅

You just made my day with that last car wash 😂
Almost new !
Many things can be done for a classic, but the best thing is to save it from oblivion. Thanks for this 👍🇦🇷
I believe that there’s almost no car which is beyond restoration! It is only a question of how dear is it to your heart ; how much money are you willing to spend on it?!
At this point it's more rust than car!
Too rusty for restoring, and no much left even spare part car
What a great design the Panda was. Never understood why there was no 5 doors version .
This is fiat uno and in brazil are 4 doors.

Beim Panda braucht man kein Sonderwerkzeug.

Great video,. One of the problems with the Fiat brand is rust. But this car after a long time and it is abandoned is very bad. Though the engine still works. Sincere greetings to you video maker. I am following you from Algeria 🇩🇿
I had a 4x4 example 1988 to 1992 it was a very capable little car and I loved it. Economical and reliable.
Your videos in their simplicity are very beautiful and give me a good feeling that I have not seen anywhere else, and your skill is very pleasant and calm and overall excellent my friend.. 🙏😎✌️
Otimo vídeo como sempre!!! Fiat Panda 🐼 aí, ja aque no Brsil é Fiat uno e com escadas
The legend says that if it rains you can hear how they rust.
weird, here in italy we don't hear people that say that they rus a lot, we just hear people saying how good they are and how they're pretty much unstoppable
@@AnItalianGuyOnYT It depends on what they use to defrost the roads. In my country they use salt so many cars suffer from rust and after winter ends you can see these cars in body shops to get the rust removed.

I couldn't help but laugh when you opened the bonnet (hood in the US) and the reinforcement just stayed in place.
Reminded of that episode of Top Gear when they did British Leyland cars, one of the presenters opened the car door and the whole door card remained in place! 🤣
Just getting to it was half the battle! Love your videos!
here in italy the mk1 fiat panda is still one of the most common cars
Yes, but only restyling type produced from 1986 to 2003, this is a pre-restyling 1980-1986 and it's pretty rare also in Italy.
@ true, i didn't think of that
On all 4 cylinders after being laid up that... Powerful to see
It's 3:51 am here lol. Awesome video and cute panda! I wish we had Pandas in Brazil, very cool car, specially in its awd model. Great video!
Good job! Great sound of the engine of this Panda 45! We had one of these a long time ago.

Fiat Panda va ovunque 📹👈🔝🔝👋👋
Im pretty stunned that theres any car left as the fiats of this era were mega mega rust buckets. Great to see though, very nostalgic 😊
Wow. I remember my teacher in junior high back in the '80s and '90s discussing buying these Pandas
Beautiful car. It’s the first Serie. Please bring it back to Life. ❤

Im amazed how good the bodywork is after all that time. I just got my Dads old car back which has stood 10-15 years. Got her running, next is new tyres n check brakes.
Watching that car get cleaned was the most satisfying video on TH-cam! 😲

We Italians say that the fiat panda is the most durable car ever and this shows
FIAT, LANCIA an AR were create a lot of exellent cars, but most of them undeservedly forgotten. For example: did you ever seen the FIAT Palio Mk.2 hatcback with the brasilian engine? )
