Every time Momo sees Gentaro come outside from inside, he goes back inside because he wants to make sure Kint & Genki are safe and out of harms way. It’s so precious. What a great silverback and he also trusts Gentaro to keep them safe when he’s inside with them as well. Love it.

Poor Genki is eating herself to death. She's so overweight and eats more than all the others put together. She is going to burst! And she could have a heart attack at any.moment carrying all that weight around. They need to restrict her food intake at night. You can't stop her from scrounging for food every second of the day, all day long, but at night, when they put her and Kintaro in that room for her dinner, they should DECREASE the food she gets. She'll lose some weight and increase her chances of living a longer healthier life. It's cruel to let her get so obese. Obviously, she has a serious eating disorder, and they need to help her with that. Just decrease her intake at her private meals, she won't like it but she'll get over it and she'll live a much better life!
I found your comment amusing cos you have no idea. She isn't over weight, gorilla's are built like that because they have enlarged upper digestive system to help break down the vegetation they eat.

I hope the Zoo is upgrading their environment. It’s looking pretty torn up and miserable right now. This spectacular group deserves much better.
