He really does have an awesome ancestry! I recently found out Momotaro is also related to the magnificent silverback Oumbie from Twycross Zoo. Oumbie is Momotaro's uncle. 😁

It would be very interesting if someone would show Momotero a recent picture of his Mother. I believe Mommotero is more sensitive than other Silverbacks and he seems to be sad often. Human trait or not It would be interesting to see his reaction.

This is not good they need a new larger living area they need land more trees caves water and Gentaro needs a girlfriend and separate area ...just safely separated I'm sure they can afford to do some kind of up grading for them ....make a go fund gorillas page and help this family out of this situation ,it's old and small and nasty for them and their health ....
I think Gentaro knows up to 16 and Kintaro to 7. Of course Gentaro is older and has been learning longer. Mom and dad aren't very good at it but they didn't get learning with numbers when they were little.

How come they don't put that fluffy hay for them to sleep . Like other zoo's put for the gorillas so they can sleep. That floor is very hard and cold.
